The CW has released a description for the November 6th episode of The Vampire Diaries.
A RESCUE IN THE NIGHT — When Alaric (Matt Davis) realizes that Jo (guest star Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) can’t be compelled, he asks Elena (Nina Dobrev) to do some digging into her background. After learning that Enzo (Michael Malarkey) has been captured by Tripp, Caroline (Candice Accola) teams up with Matt and Stefan (Paul Wesley) to rescue him before Tripp learns their true identities. Armed with some new information about her past, Sarah (guest star Gabrielle Walsh) breaks into Tripp’s (guest star Colin Ferguson) office and is surprised when she finds Matt (Zach Roerig) there, doing some investigating of his own. Meanwhile, Elena is forced to deal with the consequences of her actions, and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) hits rock bottom, lashing out in a destructive way. Lastly, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is determined to take matters into his own hands when he receives some upsetting news.
Garreth Stover directed the episode written by Chad Fiveash & James Stoteraux

That sounds like an interesting episode. Of course, Alaric's girlfriend had to be hiding something. And I wonder what it is that Jeremy does. According to the synopsis for episode 4, Alaric is supposed to step in to help him get his life back together. Apparently, that doesn't quite work out.

I have to be absolutely honest, I can't help it BUT I am back in full TVD mode!!! I am anxiously waiting til it is Thursday or in my case Friday morning, I love to wait for the synopsis of the next episodes and I love to hear my TVD podcasts during the week. Back again, the full TVD fever...that's a good sign P.S.: same condition applies for The Originals here, same anxiety and same fever...I think it's called Passion

I'm so glad you still have the fever moshe12 yet sadly I don't. As a matter of fact I totally forgot about TVD being on tonight and almost made plans with a friend. When I then realized it was TVD thursday I felt depressed that I had gotten to the point as a fan that I don't get excited anymore. Too much disappointment has just left me apathetic. Season 5 really did a number on me and my passion it seems.

Season 5 really did a number on me and my passion it seems. yes I know, season 5 was a big mess in the middle, but they managed to get back on the rails in the end imho... I am sure they will deliver this season, I just love the storyline ...esp the one with Damon and Bonnie (chuckle chuckle) and I think it it quite suspenseful the rest of the story, esp with that leacherous Tripp Fell as a baddie, just as bad an egg as his cousin or nephew Logan Fell (barf). I think what makes things easier for me is that I am not a shipper in that sense, I loved Forwood, it is over --> can live with it, same goes for Stelena, don't hold a grudge there either, but I do want my boy Jer to get his girl back, I will be honest there. He needs her...in the meantime I will make him chicken soup and hot cocao, the boy needs support urgent!!! Did I ever tell you that Jer is my TVD son, and he reminds me a bit of my nephew no 2. Steve R McQueen is such a lovely young man and I really liked Jer from se 1 spot on! When he died in se 4 I was DEVASTATED, on depression lane for weeks ...ask wednesday ...she was really worried Yes I don't take things too serious and overanalyze everything, still got The Originals to worry about , ah Klaus always up to some mishief and nonsense!!! And Downton Abbey which I am up to date after British tv schedule, watched 4 episodes of season 5 meanwhile. But I couldn#t catch up with PLL, nor HOD nor TW. And btw Buffy season 4 was the weakest after all, still they managed to deliver three great seasons after that!!! Of course Buffy was the epitome of a good vampire series. Anyways I am looking forward to TVD ep 3 tonight or tomorrow, will take my dog out and go to bed, I want to sleep early today and watch asap!!! You have a good evening whatever you choose to do crimmyjCheers

Elena is forced to deal with the consequences of her actions
Last episode when she wanted to do jellyshots and first Matt and Tyler left and then Caroline, too and she was sitting there alone I thought this was the consequences of her selfish noncaring about anyone but Damon time. Maybe this will continue and she'll have to fight for everyones friendship now. The world is not turning around Elena Gilbert anymore

"The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get" is a song by Morrissey, released as a single in February 1994.

Stefan and Caroline facing off in the woods again?!? She's definitely tenacious. I wonder how long it'll take him to crack when it comes to her... and I don't necessarily mean romantically.

So damon is back elena is forced to deal with consequences of her actions so perhaps alaric tries to decompel her but since he has not done it before makes a mistake or something.

Were they not supposed to find out something that put's Elena's life in danger? Maybe that's the consequence of something she did

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I527 using proboards Please tell me your joking about the "dead one" coming back next week.... things were actually starting to look up... the writers wiped out DE's love link and 300k more viewers tuned in to watch..... Glad JP is sticking to her statement last season that Death is permanent. lolol Hey, a guy can dream....

Now their finally letting Stefan have a backbone and a little edge...just so they can tear him up again....They killed DE and 300k more people watched the last episode..... That speaks volumes to me.... I'll be back soon... been cheating on ya with another page... I highly recommend getting several sponges to throw at the screen. lol Showrunners have the solution to saving the series staring them in the face. Have a "Quarry Kegger" every week and put Elena in a different bikini for 30 of the 42 minutes... Guess all those folks talking about Nina filling out this season, are out buying stronger glasses. lololol Sry you missed out on "chest-hair" guy last week...he was probably getting it trimmed and permed....lol

I've never been much of a shipper (though I preferred SE), but the focus on them just ruins the show. On an unrelated note... Lovin' your Adam Baldwin gifs.
