Yes, it would be insanely brilliant. Tho, I'd feel very bad for Bonnie is she's to be dead somewhere in the 1994 Prison World. However, sadly this theory doesn't really add up since there are no other persons there. = / Technically, Silas is a rock. Also, come to think of it so is Amara. Haha that was my main point. Fossilized Silas was "holding" the cure, but "without Silas", I guess the box is just randomly sitting on the cave floor in the middle of Nova Scotia chilling out with a tombstone

Welcome! We kicked that around a couple of weeks ago and could come up with nothing viable. It is a good question. My thought is that they just held their noses and pretended it was not an issue. I love reading the fan fiction too and a few stories involved her getting the cure and I kept shaking my head saying "that's not possible", but apparently it is. I hope the next episode will explain it more, but I have a feeling the writers will gloss over that SL... You guys are right when you say they drop the ball on a lot of topics they bring up but never really explain Now that I think about it, that would be right. LOL. XD But then again, Bonnie could have said something about that, unless, just like you said. . . ~ Creepy tum-tum-tum sounds. ~ Bonnie's actually Silas in disguise. >; )

The Bad: Enzo/Sarah: I never really understood the purpose of Sarah being on the show. Don’t get me wrong- I like Sarah’s character. I just think introducing Sister Salvatore in a different way or maybe even a little later would have been a much better route. As of now she just seems like a pointless little plaything to keep Enzo from dicking around with the main trio. I was hoping when Stefan flipped the switch that maybe we’d find out the purpose of Sarah was to serve as his emotional trigger (since he flipped it to save her in the first place), but alas that’s Lily’s job. Unless the plan to use Lily doesn’t go as planned and Sarah does end up being his touch stone. The Cure: There are so many issues with this. First off- it doesn’t even make sense. In season four, it took a hoard of people to get the Cure, right? Including a blood sacrifice to Silas. So how in the hell did little old Bonnie manage all of that on her own? It’s never really made clear whether or not Silas’ calcified corpse is on the island in the 1994 Prison World, and until/if it is, this will never cease to bewilder me. Secondly- we all know Damon was adamantly against Elena ingesting the Cure in season four and he didn’t want it for himself either. Why all the sudden does he magically want the Cure again? Third- the Cure was one of the weakest plotlines the show has ever had, and now they’ve just decided that bringing it back sounds like a good plan. It just creates unneeded drama and pointless debates that we’ve already been over. Boring at best. The Middle: No Humanity!Steroline: I think this SL has the potential to really be good. However, I thought the pranks at the beginning were childish in a way, though fairly entertaining. I love the chemistry between Caroline and Stefan, and I think this whole dark vibe they have has the ability to be thoroughly interesting if the writers handle it properly. No Humanity!Stefan in particular: I don’t hate that they took Stefan’s humanity again per se, but it feels a little… unnecessary? Something to think about with this one is the complete 180 they’ve done with Stefan’s character that I’m digging. In any other season should Damon have died, Stefan would have worked his ass off to get his brother back and in this one- humanity and all he didn’t. Hell, he wasn’t even bothered enough to turn his switch off then and there. But for his sister who doesn’t even know he exists, he flips it off just because Caroline says so. Interesting. Delena: I always was fond of Damon and Elena as a couple, but the writers have been running it into the ground. Sure, the comment about “forever” was pretty touching and the whole make-out-interruption scene was pretty good, but the rest of their interaction was pointless. Elena served no point coming along to 1903 other than just the fact that she’s Elena, so why not? The Good: Lily Salvatore: I really enjoy this SL so far and I'm very excited to see where they take it. I like that Damon wasn’t instantaneously soft on her just as a result of that mother-son bond. It shows good continuity with his character and habits of handling abandonment. Bravo on that to the writers. As a little idea, maybe Lily will be the one to get the Cure, since she's so damn concerned about her Ripper side and being human is a sure-fire way to prevent that from popping up. Just a little thought. Seeing as Stefan and Damon are vampires, having a human mother could play out as an interesting plot vice. Just like with Steroline- it all depends on how the writers decide to handle it. As it stands, I’m loving everything about Lily, and- since we found out how much of a colossal douche-bag Giuseppe was earlier on in the series- it’ll be interesting to finally find out what their mother was like back in the 19th Century. Bamon and Bonnie in general: I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a sucker for anything Damon. He’s consistently one of the best characters on the show, be him a hero or a villain. His chemistry with Bonnie is something I’m glad the writers are finally exploring. It brings something fresh to the show, since, though I don’t particularly hate Delena, his SL with Elena is getting somewhat tired. I’ve been curious about Bamon since my first watch of season one, and I think they could form a great friendship if nothing more. Bonnie in particular this season is phenomenal. I’ve always loved her, but the writers have made her much stronger as a person this season than she ever has been. Though I do love Kai, I think that justice was well-deserved and I’m glad for her that she finally received it. Hopefully they keep this “new” Bonnie around and don’t make her go back to being the pet witch the others can call on when they need a spell or a sacrifice. Jolaric: I think there’s great chemistry between these two characters. Nothing more to be said. Let’s just hope Alaric is able to return to hunting sooner rather than later- that’s his element and it’s great seeing him partake in the action. Best of luck for them as soon-to-be parents nonetheless! Who knows- maybe they’ll have twins! Defan (aka Damon’s attachment to their brotherly bond): Love it. Love, love, love, love, love. Sure, Stefan sans humanity is a total dick. Regardless, Damon shows, yet again, how he’s actually an incredibly good brother. The scene at the beginning with their confrontation was fantastic. And I love how Damon not only is using Lily to get to Stefan but then used Stefan to get to Lily. Well played. Love it.

Here's the rehash for " A Bird In A Gilded Cage." Also, one of our members (tvernay; she's mostly known from the other site) commented in the video. It's at the 1:24 mark. BTW, where the hell is the bird? I was looking forward to that.

Damon is only a good brother when he doesn't want Stefan's girlfriend.

Sent from my SM-G900T using proboards Is it just me or has Damon not killed/hurt anyone (besides Kai) since coming back? Guess Bonnie's had a bigger impact on him than we thought.
