Thank you so much wednesday!! I LOVE these. They're a great TV duo - fun, caring, patient, in-sync with each other. It'd be a shame if other characters sink the show.

jennifer I'm a gif addict as I'm sure you've probably noticed. You'll be seeing more! I hope the others don't ruin it for us either. SNEAK PEEK "HEARTLESS" 2X08

Can't wait for this episode! It looks awesome! Episode 2.10 - Magnum Opus (24-Nov-2014)
Ichabod and Abbie get a dire message from Katrina, warning them that the earthy version of Moloch which has – despite their best efforts – been born into this world is growing stronger, and she fears his reign on Earth could begin in as little as two days time. The Two Witnesses work to decode the journal of Abbie’s ancestor, Grace Dixon, (which they retrieved during their recent travails at Tarrytown Psych) in order to find a weapon believed to be capable of defeating the demon lord, and discover the existence of the “Sword of Methuselah,” a weapon referenced by both the spirit of Abbie’s mother, as well as in the Bible, which, if legend holds, has the power to defeat Moloch. After figuring out clues from one of Ben Franklin’s notebooks, the pair thinks they may know the sword’s location, but a dire warning in the text leads them to believe their quest could be fraught with immense peril... not the least of which is the Horseman of Death, who has been sent to retrieve the weapon first.
Meanwhile, Jenny attempts to transport suspected cop-killer Frank Irving over the Canadian border while local police set up a dragnet to prevent his escape, Henry and Katrina have an overdue mother-and-son chat, and Crane reflects on his former friendship with Abraham (now the Headless Horseman) and how their shared past shaped each other’s present.
This sounds amazing! The Sword of Methuselah and Frank finally getting out of the psych ward!!!! I could definitely do without the Henry and Katrina crap though.

PROMO "MAMA" 2X09
SPOILER:
Question: What’s coming up on Sleepy Hollow? —Lili
Ausiello: We know a bit about why Ichabod was chosen to become a Witness, but not much about why Abbie got picked for the job. Next week’s episode, “Mama” — in which Aunjanue Ellis debuts as Abbie and Jenny’s mom — fills in some of those holes. And according to someone in the know, Lyndie Greenwood and Nicole Beharie are amazing in the very emotional hour.

jennifer So what did you think of this week's episode? I thought it was pretty good. Could Hawley be more obvious about how he feels about Abbie! Ichabod certainly got it! Do you think he was actually encouraging her to go for him? I'm dying for it to come out that Hawley and Jenny were a thing. If he really thinks he has a chance with Abbie after hooking up with her sister he is sorely mistaken! The scene with Katrina and Ichabod watching tv was so funny! She's really getting into reality tv. Can they get her some new clothes too. I so wanted Abbie to slap her when she started in on how Henry is our son and can be saved crap! All I hear is Ichabod had to play referee! She went back to Abraham who was scary at one time, but is now a lovesick school boy. How could Katrina see that the baby was a demon when she was away from him while wearing the amulet, but not when she was in front of him? We saw what it really looked like which was (puke)Next week looks great with their mother! We finally learn more about the girls past! Check out this article! It's things that we talked about that is wrong with the show and I completely agree with her! She really nailed some points although I would prefer to just get rid of Katrina and Henry all together! Six ways to fix 'Sleepy Hollow'

insidetv.ew.com/2014/11/11/six-ways-to-fix-sleepy-hollow/ Yeah if Hawley wasn't obvious enough, the succubus made it clear. I thought Ichabod was trying to make the best of an awkward situation, not knowing how Abbie feels. Weren't Hawley and Jenny outed as a thing early on? Or an off & on thing from the past anyway. Yeah, no way Abbie will get involved if Jenny was. So I guess Ichabod's desire is still Katrina. Boo. When they were watching the Bachelor, I thought it was an interesting commentary on how both see love. Ichabod found it silly, ridiculous to think what they were viewing could be called love, and Katrina was more entranced by the idea of love as being the one chosen over others. Maybe she's in love with both Ichabod and Abraham because they're both head over heels for her? The tension between Katrina and Abbie was kinda funny. Watch out Ichabod!! He may have to turn to Hawley for help with his women, hehe. I'm pretty sure the amulet is what causes Katrina to see the baby as a baby. Henry mentioned something about 'does she still have the amulet?' So true Abbie is the only sane one right now re: Henry. I just don't see how they can get rid of him unless Moloch turns on him (doubtful, Horseman of War and all that), or Ichabod remembers he has to choose his role as witness over his family. It sounds awful but that's his job. I'm really looking forward to next ep. too! Also finding out why Abbie was chosen as the other witness in a later episode. Thanks for the link wednesday!

Episode 2.11 - The Akeda (01-Dec-2014)
Fearing the rise of Moloch is already underway, Crane and Mills race to Fredericks Manor armed with the recently acquired demon-slaying Sword of Methuselah to try and prevent the dark lord’s advent, and to rescue Katrina from the Headless Horseman’s grasp. Armed with the mystic weapon, Ichabod battles the Horseman of Death with heretofore unseen success, but Abraham’s daunting warning that wielding the blade will come at a dire cost gives the Two Witnesses pause. Following some research gathered by Jenny, the trio sets off to find the secreted Frank Irving in the hopes that his unique circumstances – his soul belonging by Henry Parish – will render the former police Captain immune to the sword’s curse. Meanwhile, Katrina continues her interrogation of the imprisoned Abraham, heightening Crane’s worries that his wife’s feelings for her former fiancé have begun to resurface in light of their recent proximity. And Ichabod and Katrina contend with the thought that their inevitable battle with Moloch – who is commencing his plans to bring his kingdom of Purgatory to Earth – might require them to face-off with – and possibly force them to kill – their own son.
Here we go again! Rescuing Katrina! At least this will give them a wake up call that they will have to kill Henry! About freaking time! I'm mainly looking at you Katrina!!! I had a feeling her feelings for Abraham were going to resurface somehow. Despite all that, it sounds like a great episode! Jenny and Frank finally getting in on the action! I can't wait!

What did you think about last night wednesday? I cried! Lyndie Greenwood was so good as Jenny, the emotional core of this episode. The sisters backstory was much more interesting than the actual supernatural story. I don't understand why Ichabod was sidelined, unless the actor was really sick, because Hawley just doesn't cut it in the emotional scenes. Ichabod has a grave quality about him that comes across even when he's quiet. I like that Abbie's role as witness is part of her ancestry, and she's the 'chosen one' to finally defeat Moloch. It's trite, but in Abbie's case she can make it work. So happy Irving is free!! Luckily the Katrina/Henry parts were small because the demon sucking on Katrina was too much for me. I was watching alone last night and I'm a scaredy cat. lol If they keep filming most of the episodes about Abbie, Ichabod and their gang then things might pick up in the ratings. Although I read the most recent synopsis and it doesn't look that way....

jennifer Yes I cried! It was so heartbreaking! Both girls did an outstanding job as did their mother! It was a very moving yet scary episode. You're not the only one who's a scaredy cat! I watched it late at night alone too! Shows in hospitals/asylums always freak me out though! I think maybe Tom really was sick because if he wasn't he gave one heck of a performance of someone who was! I was completely convinced he was someone with the flu! I missed having him in the episode too and agree completely with your comment about him having a grave quality even when he's quite. Well said! He is great with emotional scenes when it comes to Abbie and even Jenny! When she's suffering he does as well. They have such a great connection/friendship. Hawley was simply there as backup/muscle. He doesn't bother me that much. At least the actor is likable. I just hope he realized how close the sisters are and that whatever little crush he has on Abbie he should get over it because they will never let a man come between them!!! SO happy Frank is finally free! It felt like the gang was back together! It was a better episode by far because there was little Katrina and Henry, and that demon baby freaked me out too! If they would minimize their roles then I think the ratings would definitely pick up! Don't the writers read stuff online!! I'm not saying they should let the fans dictate the show like a certain show we know, but they don't want the show to get cancelled!!!! Hopefully it will get better! I still have faith!!!

SPOILER:
Question: Need Sleepy Hollow scoop! —Liz
Ausiello: New character Orion, who’ll make his appearance after the winter break, may just prove himself a gift from the heavens for Abbie. “She sees in him someone who is actually completely living for what they believe, and finds that really inspiring and maybe even decides to sort of follow him in that,” Nicole Beharie tells TVLine. No word on what Ichabod will think of that…jennifer Sounds like Abbie is getting a love interest! I wonder if Hawley will be leaving now? They need to trim some things back now that Frank will be onscreen more! I'm happy about that. If they cut Katrina and Henry's time back all will be right in the world!

If they cut Katrina and Henry's time back all will be right in the world! wednesday, I'm ready, let's see this pairing! I read the article you posted from EW and agreed with every point. The show is already trying to take some of the steps, like bringing the gang back together. I laughed at the one about the show needing to remember their audience is smart; we don't need reminders of every little plot point.
