Sleepy Hollow's Founding Mother Is... Buffy Vet Michelle Trachtenberg!
tvline.com/2014/10/21/sleepy-hollow-michelle-trachtenberg-season-2-cast-abigail-adams/#more-558281SPOILERS:
Question: Hey, my question is about Hawley on Sleepy Hollow. Does the show plan on making him a romantic interest for Jenny or Abbie? —Melissa
Ausiello: Hey, we asked Lyndie Greenwood the same thing, and while she maintains she’s “in the dark” about which Mills sister Hawley ultimately will pursue, she’s not worried, either way. “Abbie and Jenny have fought so hard for [their] relationship,” she says. “They have had way bigger problems than some dude coming into their life and upsetting things.” Still, expect at least a little sisterly static. “Of course, it’s an issue,” Greenwood previews.
Will we ever see The Kindred on Sleepy Hollow again? — Sheila
You bet! "Don't forget about him," showrunner Mark Goffman warns. "He's got some grand plans." And although we'll have to wait until much later in the season to see him, when he returns, he'll bring with him a game-changing item in Abbie and Ichabod's fight: the Horseman's Head!

jennifer What do you think of this whole thing with Katrina? I feel so bad for Ichabod. She's lied to him repeatedly. It's like she's a complete stranger to him. Last week's episode scared the crap out of me with the weeping lady, but it was also very sad. I felt for Mary even though she was a little unhinged. Talk about needy. The look on Ichabod's face when he saw her and then confronted Katrina about everything. I gotta say I'm not loving the whole son thing. He gives me the icks. I can't believe she thinks he's worth saving especially after what he did at the end of this week's episode! I almost! That was just disgusting! He put some demon spawn in her! I know Ichabod wants to save her because she's his wife and he loves her and all, but I love his relationship with Abbie. I'm not saying romantic necessarily, but they have such a profound bond. I love all their scenes together and I love it when they're working these cases like the one they did this week. The casting for Corbin's son was a dead ringer. Do you think Hawley might be trying to put the moves on or developing a thing for Abbie. I was really surprised about him and Jenny! I'm kinda worried about the show because the ratings have been horrible this season and they seem to drop every week. I guess people aren't too happy with the SL. I liked last season better to be honest, but I still love Abbie and Ichabod. I hope it improves.

I'm kinda worried about the show because the ratings have been horrible this season and they seem to drop every week. I guess people aren't too happy with the SL. I liked last season better to be honest, but I still love Abbie and Ichabod. I hope it improves. I thought the same thing about Corbin's son wednesday! Hope he stays part of the story as a guest. I was completely surprised when Ichabod finally confronted Katrina. He's had her on a pedastel, and she's always had her own agenda, willing to lie and manipulate Ichabod if needed. He seems incapable of those things, with his honor and views on the world. He's so sweet with the speeches about the way things should be (and with the video games & yoga this week). Last season I didn't question Katrina's devotion to him, but this season I'm wondering if there's more to the story between her and headless guy, or if she was part of a larger scheme back in her time and she's still working on it behind Ichabod's back. I'm trying to find a reason why she keeps excusing Henry - is there something she needs from him or with him? It could be motherly love, but it's hard to buy that she looks at Henry and sees her little boy or something like that. That SL is too out there. I hope next week the spider inside K. will provoke some revelations. Not sure about the shipping yet. At this point keeping Ichabod and Abbie as friends and witnesses feels like the right thing. Hawley, lol, he's a fun addition. It seems like he & Jenny are over and he IS looking at Abbie now, but I can't see her pursuing it, esp. since she & Jenny are finally on good terms. The first few episodes were hard to follow and so caught up in mythology instead of the characters that it's not surprising ratings slipped some, but like you said, they're really low and that's hard to account for. Maybe it was too long between seasons? Or the Henry reveal was too much? Keeping my fingers crossed too! Oh, and RIP Caroline. Their interactions, and Crane's speech at her funeral, were so sincere.

SPOILER:
Question: I figure if anyone knows what Sleepy Hollow‘s Ichabod is going to sing at karaoke, it’ll be you. —Erin
Ausiello: You’re right, Erin. I know exactly what Crane’s going to cue up when the Fox drama has him and Abbie hit a karaoke bar, but I’ve been sworn to secrecy. However, I can tell you that he commits to the performance, and Abbie — like a good pal — wholeheartedly cheers her fellow Witness on.

jennifer I'm starting to question Katrina's motives too and wonder if there's something more to the whole Abraham thing as well? Henry is the one that managed to put that wedge between her and Ichabod by outing what happened with Mary. Now he's putting a spider spawn in her and trying to create who knows what! If this doesn't wake her up nothing will. I say let them have her! I know that's mean. I just can't stand to see my poor Ichabod hurt, betrayed and manipulated anymore! I don't care how good her intentions are. I loved the yoga and video games this week. Next we get to see him vote and soon he sings karaoke!!! This keeps getting better and better! I can't really see Ichabod and Abbie romantic although I know there are many who do. They're the heart and soul of the show and I would hate to see anything ever mess that up so I trust the writers. I can't see Abbie falling for Hawley either especially when she finds out about him and Jenny. Plus she has no time for romance! Hell is always raining down on them. I liked Caroline too. Ichabod's speech was sweet. I think the long break in between seasons could've had something to do with the ratings. It works for cable shows but for this I think it backfired. I think the Henry SL could also be a factor too though. From alot of the comments and reviews that I read some people aren't very fond of Katrina so if could be because of her! Who knows!

DESCRIPTION "DELIVERANCE" 2X07
Henry Parish’s most recent mystical attack against his mother, Katrina, begins to bear fruit, and while Abraham (aka The Horseman of Death) is aware that some mysterious ailment has befallen his love, he is unaware her sickness is the doing of his demonic compatriot. The two Horsemen of the Apocalypse reach an impasse when Abraham resists Henry’s attempts to take Katrina back to Fredericks Manor – ostensibly at Moloch’s command – and in the ensuing struggle, Katrina manages to escape. Ichabod and Abbie soon locate her and make the stark discovery that whatever the source of Katrina’s ailment, it appears to all be part of Moloch’s as-of-yet unknown “new purpose” for her. Upon getting Katrina to the relative safety of the Archives, Crane consults Benjamin Franklin’s notebooks and determines that whatever ails his wife has its origins in the ancient – though still active – secret society known as The Hellfire Club. As the Two Witnesses work to keep Katrina safe until a cure can be unearthed, they make a startling discovery about her condition, and come to the unlikely conclusion that in order to prevail against a ticking clock and a setting sun, they will need to put their faith in the most unlikely of sources... a hope that may in the end prove futile.
Meanwhile, Ichabod and Katrina come to realize that despite their now close physical proximity, recent events have succeeded in driving an emotional wedge between them. And while Ichabod continues to hold out hope that his son is not wholly beyond redemption, he remains cognizant of the fact he is, after all, The Horseman of War. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2014
DESCRIPTION "HEARTLESS" 2X08
As Ichabod and Katrina enjoy a brief respite from their latest tribulations, they attempt to reconcile their recently conflicted feelings, but a lingering doubt – sown by the actions of their foes – continues to creep into their relationship. All the while, Abbie remains intent on preventing whatever next move Henry Parish and his master Moloch are planning. Meanwhile, the Horseman of War is indeed still intent on resurrecting his Dark Lord, and summons forth “The Heartless,” a deadly female succubus with the ability to look into her victims’ soul and mimic their heart’s desire... before siphoning off their life force. When the husk of the body of a young bar patron is discovered in the parking lot of a local establishment, Crane and Mills investigate. While Abbie remains convinced Parish has no doubt played some part in this latest supernatural event, both Ichabod and Katrina try their best to maintain their belief that their son “Jeremy” is still not beyond redemption.
Meanwhile, Henry focuses his attention on the task at hand, namely, using the succubus’s unique powers to achieve his ultimate goal of facilitating Moloch’s entry to the waking world... but how her skills will aid his task still remains a mystery to those who would prevent it. And as bodies in Sleepy Hollow continue to pile up, Katrina aids in the Two Witnesses’ investigation, but it takes Abbie some time adjusting to the teams’ new makeup and to be convinced of the witch’s worth. Looking forward to voting and Karaoke!! Yeah, I'll be watching Katrina more closely from now on. When I read the synopsis you posted below, I already had my conspiracy hat on: So Moloch wants K. with Ichabod and Abbie, he has Henry doing the dirty work, does Katrina have a role in all this or is she a victim? Hmm......I'm also curious what's going to happen to Irving (?is that the former police chief's name) but with him in solitary, it could be weeks. Not long to wait now.

DESCRIPTION "MAMA" 2X09
When a rash of suicides at Tarrytown Psychiatric Hospital results in staffers calling the police for help, Sheriff Reyes, knowing Abbie’s familial connection to both the circumstances and the institution – her mother killed herself while she was a patient there – assigns Mills to the case. With Crane suffering from and debilitated by a seasonal cold, Abbie enlists the help of her sister, Jenny (also a former Tarrytown patient) and Nick Hawley, in her investigation. The Mills sisters’ first stop is to visit former Police Captain Frank Irving, who, despite being an unwilling minion of the Horseman of War, maintains that his soul is – for the moment, at least – still his own, and offers to aid in whatever way he can... an offer that may come back to haunt him. As they investigate the recent deaths, Abbie and Jenny also try to learn whatever they can about their mother’s time at Tarrytown leading up to her suicide, knowing now what they never believed in the past... that the demons she feared were in fact real. As they delve deeper into their case, Abbie and Jenny make a startling discovery, leading them to believe that Moloch’s handiwork is again at play, and forcing them to once more face their past as they find themselves in an all-too-familiar battle for their survival... but this time, they may have an unexpected but determined ally.
Meanwhile, in Fredericks Manor, Henry continues in his plans to strengthen the infant demon creature which will, in time, grow to become Moloch, and he uses the unaware Katrina – who, due to the effect of the spell-casting amulet she wears, sees the creature as nothing more than a normal human baby – to aid in his rearing. NOVEMBER 17, 2014
Ok this is disgusting! They're going to go through with Katrina having the demon baby!! Henry needs to die ASAP!!!! I'm looking forward to seeing more of the sisters background and finally seeing Irving!!! Poor Ichabod with a cold!!! This should be entertaining!

I'm looking forward to seeing more of the sisters background and finally seeing Irving!!! Poor Ichabod with a cold!!! This should be entertaining! wednesday - What?!? I thought the demon-baby was kaput. It squicked me out last night. I guess the demon that flew off will find its way back into Katrina, lol? OK, revising my thoughts on Katrina a little. She has an agenda of some sort, but I don't think she's in league with Moloch. GIVE UP ON HENRY PLEASE! So they're going with the 'he's my little boy' angle. I have to say the moment Crane saw the image of young Henry, and we were reminded of how lonely he was, I did thaw a little bit. Next episode sounds interesting for Mills background. Oh, the voting scene was awesome, when Ichabod tried to campaign at the voting booth and go in with Abbie. )

Oh, the voting scene was awesome, when Ichabod tried to campaign at the voting booth and go in with Abbie. ) It looks like they did take care of this demon baby problem in this last episode which was disturbing on so many levels. I was completely creeped out! Katrina needs to get a clue! If your son puts a demon baby in you he is EVIL!!!! He can't be saved! I felt a hint of sympathy for the little boy Ichabod saw, but not this thing we have today. He is no little boy. He is the horseman of war! I read several sites and comments after this episode and I think the ratings are low because of Katrina. From what I read not many people like her or her SL at all. They aren't very fond of Henry either or as they called it the Crane family drama. They'd rather deal with the mythology stuff and even focus more on the horseman. They brought up a good point of Katrina.. If she is suppose to be this almighty powerful witch why can't she ever do anything to save herself? Did they put up a barrier to keep her from using her powers? Did Abraham mention that in this last episode? People are sick and tired of Ichabod having to come and rescue her every 5 minutes. I wish they'd put her on the back burner for awhile and see if the ratings do improve. Next week does look great. The succubus! Ichabod is too cute. His and Abbie's scenes are the best! 2x08 "HEARTLESS"

His and Abbie's scenes are the best! 2x08 "HEARTLESS"The show was so much more fun, and the mythology less complicated, when Katrina was in the ether and Henry didn't exist. So I agree with people who want to see it get back to Abbie and Ichabod. The past two eps. Abbie's been a bystander for the most part. Those two carry the show; they need to spend more time together. They keep separating to take care of multiple things, which has mostly been Ichabod with Katrina, or in the past ep., Henry. And when will the former police chief get out of the psych unit and get some action??? He's a great character. Can't remember his name but he's a great character. I don't remember anything about Katrina losing her powers but it would be the smart thing for someone to do to her. I was hoping for a change next week, but it looks like once again it's Crane & Katrina hugging it out, still believing in Henry, while Abbie tries to get some work done (plus get used to having Katrina around). The Succubus, though! Something to look forward to.
