CASTING SPOILER: Arrow Targets Orphan Black Star
Orphan Black doesn’t return until Spring 2014, but you will see He Who Is Known As Hot Paul on your TV before then. Dylan Bruce, who plays the BBC America hit’s military man, will guest-star on Season 2 of The CW’s Arrow. The actor will appear in the first and third episodes of Season 2 as Laurel’s new co-worker Adam Donner, a corn-fed, All-American lawyer who is described as smart and charismatic.

SPOILER
Question: Just wanted to know about anything on Arrow season 2. —Dana
Ausiello: If you ever wondered how Oliver’s island existence, seen in flashback, could have been any worse, here’s a short answer for you: pirates. (Or is it pilates? My source’s note was smudged. But I’m going with pirates.)

So I'm watching Justice League Unlimited on Netflix and just got done with an episode centered around Green Arrow, Black Canary (who are now dating), Huntress and The Question. Huntress is looking for a mob boss who once worked for her father as protection but ended up killing him to take over. This happened when she was a child so it's a bit different from the show (her father was still a crime lord). Huntress is still unstable here though. She goes after the guy who killed her father despite the League telling her not to and she gets kicked out. The Question decides to help her, knowing most of her backstory already and that she doesn't have info he wants and when she asks why he helped her, he said because he likes her. They end up kissing and running off on a date I suppose...or other things.
This is the 2nd episode with GA & BC teamed up. Seeing how BC fights, I just can't picture Laurel pulling it off if she ever transitions to that title (since they're having someone else take it up first). Then again, I'm comparing an animated show with no real limitations to something that's going to be live action on CW with a limited budget. Gotta reel in expectations. And BC's scream in the show can only be used from a certain range. If someone is too close, she risks killing them. Wonder if the scream will be worked into the show or not since the show was supposed to be no powers but Flash is supposed to be spinned off from it so...? And with Huntress turning up in S2 of Arrow, I wonder if her and BC will fight it out.

Slash that would be interesting to see a black canary and huntress showdown. But I'm assuming it would be the first black canary rather then laurel?

Maybe so but I'd like to see Laurel and Huntress duke it out over a fire pit while Felicity is free to make moves on Oliver.
Watching JLU, I kind of don't like Arrow's way of setting up Oliver and Laurel as long-time/growing up sweethearts just because I don't like the idea of Laurel being shoved down our throats. And also by the time they meet in JLU (and generally by the time he's introduced), Oliver has sold off Queens Industries for $3 billion (but he's also older in the cartoon).

Not only will the infamous Suicide Squad make itself known with the Episode 2 introduction of Bronze Tiger (Spawn’s Michael Jai White), but Arrow boss lady Amanda Waller herself will surface in the Diggle-centric Episode 6, “Keep Your Enemies Closer.” Kreisberg says of the yet-to-be-cast character, who has previously been brought to life by the likes of Angela Bassett, CCH Pounder and Pam Grier, “We’re excited to introduce yet another version that will hopefully stand up to the previous ones.”

SPOILERSPREVIOUSLY ON... | Oliver & Co. managed to thwart part of Malcolm Merlyn's "Undertaking," but Tommy tragically lost his life during the disaster, while his father (seemingly) died at Arrow's hand.
COMING UP NEXT | Having had enough of the “vigilante” label, Oliver decides “he needs to be a symbol of hope for people -- and part of that means adopting the moniker of Arrow,” says showrunner Andrew Kreisberg. On the crimefighting front, Ollie will have his hands full with a DC-rich rogues gallery, while in salvaging the tainted Queen Consolidated, he'll find a nemesis in Isabel Rochev (Firefly's Summer Glau). “Their scenes have a lot of fun banter,” raves Kreisberg, mum on whether they'll partner in, ahem, other ways. Elsewhere: Felicity continues to be adorkably “uncomfortable in dicey situations", Roy scores a game-changing face-to-hood with Oliver's alter ego and someone else's debut as Black Canary actually marks “one step in a larger journey” for Laurel.
TVLINE BONUS SPOILER | Not only will the infamous Suicide Squad make itself known with the Episode 2 introduction of Bronze Tiger (Spawn's Michael Jai White), but boss lady Amanda Waller herself will surface in the Diggle-centric Episode 6, "Keep Your Enemies Closer.” Kreisberg says of the yet-to-be-cast character, who has previously been brought to life by the likes of Angela Bassett, CCH Pounder and Pam Grier, “We're excited to introduce yet another version that will hopefully stand up to the previous ones.“

CASTING SCOOP: Arrow Targets Spartacus Alumna as Infamous DC Comics Villain Amanda Waller Amanda Waller is coming to Arrow!
Spartacus alum Cynthia Addai-Robinson has been tapped to play the DC Comics villain.
In the Arrow-verse, the formidable and enigmatic Amanda Waller works for A.R.G.U.S. — Advanced Research Group United Support — a clandestine agency that has a mysterious agenda and possesses key information about the Arrow. In the comics, Waller runs the Suicide Squad, which will be introduced in Season 2 as Deadshot (Michael Rowe) teams up with Bronze Tiger, who will be played by Michael Jai White.
Addai-Robinson, whose credits also include The Vampire Diaries and FlashForward, joins an impressive list of women who have played Amanda Waller, including Pam Grier in Smallville, Angela Bassett in Green Lantern and CCH Pounder in the animated Justice League.
Addai-Robinson's potentially recurring role is slated to begin in Episode 6 of the sophomore season. Arrow returns Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c on The CW.

She was a replacement for the original actress on Spartacus but people *LOATHED* her when she took the reigns of that character, either due to writing or her portrayal. Not happy about her seeping into Arrow. Didn't know she was in TVD.
I've recently been introduced to the 'Amanda Waller' character in the JL/JLU cartoon and although she starts off antagonistic, she comes around to the JL and is somewhat an ally within the government, but she's mainly interacted with Batman in the show (she knew his identity and over the years, came to respect him; she's also the one who 'clones' his genes over to Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond cause she thinks/believes the world always needs a Batman and knew that eventually, age would be Bruce's/Batman's downfall). She helped run the 'CADMUS' program which was a way for the government to create superpowered beings to protect mankind in case the JL ever went rogue. I'm not familiar with her comic book history but I can solve that with a quick DC Wikia hit up.
