What are we going to see for Oliver on Arrow this season? — Dawn NATALIE: Oliver will kick off the second season actually being an enemy of Starling City since the police are feeling overwhelmed in the aftermath of the Undertaking. "For some people, he's become the symbol for what's wrong with the city," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg says. "One of Oliver's missions this year is to change the way the police and the public feel about the vigilante." As for Oliver on the island, we'll find out by the end of Episode 3 if he really spent all five years there.

Read this on another forum's Arrow thread and was disgusted, but it's what I expected:
"I think any time you do a TV show, and you've got two people together who are star-crossed lovers and they're destined to be together, but you don't want them together because you run into the "Moonlighting" problem of your two main characters, once they actually end up together, in a committed relationship, then it seems to lose all of its sexual spark. The little magic trick that we have to do with Oliver and Laurel is, keep bringing them together and pulling them apart, bringing them together and pulling them apart."
Apparently this was said at the end of last season by one of the showrunners for their 'future' plans for Laurel. No Mr. Showrunner. NO! STOP! This really sounds like they (and most showrunners) don't know how to write working, functional, relationships between 2 characters that keep interest/'sexual spark' for more than an episode or two before breaking a couple up or throwing some problem at them that makes them 'distance' themselves from one another. BS. Or better yet, stop throwing the 'You're destined for one another' crap out there, out of the gate and having to burden yourself with stringing it along the entire series.

I agree Slash I don't really care for the whole dynamic of laurel and Oliver. they kind of shoved them in our face. they could've left her with Tommy for the whole season and then on her own for the second with some moments with Oliver and then maybe this season start talking about bringing them together.

Didn't see this casting posted but this cutie is joining the show as a character named 'Sin': Bex Taylor-Klaus, best known for her arc on The Killing as Bullet, has been cast as Sin, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. She will appear in the third and fourth episodes of The CW drama's upcoming second season. Sin, who first appeared in a 1999 issue of the Birds of Prey series, is described as a wayward youth who is befriended by the Black Canary and has a connection with fellow street urchin, Roy Harper (Colton Haynes). THR
So what are the chances she steps on the toes of Roy & Thea's relationship if they keep to 'a connection' with Roy? This is a CW show so you know they're going to push that button. And am I confused about this bit from the link?: "The first Green Arrow we saw wasn't Oliver; chronologically, it was Yao Fei," he said at the time. "The first Deathstroke we saw wasn't Slade Wilson; the first Merlyn the archer we saw wasn't his father, it was Tommy." I'm drawing a blank honestly. I get the first 2 (GA and DS) but the last one related to Tommy & Malcolm...? A mistyped sentence? Or has it been that long and I'm forgetting that Tommy ever donned his father's archer outfit?

Jeff: How about some scoop on my favorite new show from last year, Arrow? What can we expect when it returns? Even badder baddies! "Craziness, mayhem. We're taking it up a level. Season one ended with literally a bang and this is going to get even bigger," David Ramsey teases of what's to come in season two. "A lot of bad guys, Bronze Tiger, Black Canary, a lot of stuff is going to happen. All the bad guys in season one, if they were nine, this season they're 12."

CASTING SCOOP:Arrow': 'Dawson's Creek' vet Dylan Neal to play Dr. Anthony Ivo Arrow has cast another villain to guest-star in Season 2. Dylan Neal ("Dawson's Creek," "The Bold and the Beautiful") will play Dr. Anthony Ivo in a recurring role.
Dr. Ivo will appear in Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) flashbacks to his time on the Island. The character is a brutal and ruthless scientist searching desperately for a breakthrough that dates from the end of World War II.
First set to appear in episode 5 of the current season, "League of Assassins," the character of Ivo is currently set for a four-episode arc and may recur in later episodes as well.
Yet another character with origins in the DC Comics universe, that Anthony Ivo is a villain with a distinct horror of death. How much of that will carry over to the TV version remains to be seen.
Dylan Neal is best known for his recurring role of Doug Witter (Pacey's brother) in "Dawson's Creek" and for playing the character of Dylan Shaw in more than 100 episodes of "The Bold and the Beautiful." The actor also appeared in the recent film "Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief" and has had guest-starring roles in shows including "Bones," "Smallville," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Haven," "90210" and "Rizzoli & Isles."
"Arrow" Season 2 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. on The CW.

If you want a copy of Arrow 201 to watch when you want, get a vid grabber like ant.com (free and install) then copy and paste this link in the browser you installed ant in. PM me for a link when the Ep starts click on ant to start the download and close the window no need to watch the stream. You'll need a player that can handle .flv extensions the best is VLC and it's free. You can use this on almost every video on the web. Let me know if there's any interest and I'll post links for BATB and TVD too.
