Gonna bump this after just watching the pilot. Already know who the big bad is based off all the stuff shown. Professor Zoom/Zoom/Reverse-Flash. Time traveling and the reverse color suit (yellow and red) and the 'Crisis' nod in the future newspaper header. I expect a headache by season end with the time traveling.
I liked what I watched. A nod to Grodd and being free/escaped, meta humans popping up due to the explosion, Barry seems to have a decent group of friends already around him. Thought the scene with Oliver was a bit cheesy lol. Still interested in seeing how far they go with Flash's power for live action. Time travel is a given but will they touch on the Speed Force for him? Vibrating so fast he can phase through solid matter? Stealing/passing on Kinetic energy from others?

Really liking all the characters so far 2 episodes in. Love the bond between Barry and Joe and the final scene they had this episode. Joe is now throwing help Barry's way to find out what happened that night his father was put away for in the death of his mother.
Zoom I'm curious about. He says he needs to keep Barry/Flash safe and being from the future (and knowing some of the events Flash is involved in in the comics), I assume Barry and his power are key to something vital to Zoom.
EDIT: Forgot to keep in mind that they may be pulling from multiple versions of Zoom. I think one of them came back in time to mess with one of the Flashes by killing someone close to him to force him to become the best hero he could be or something to that effect. I think that's what we're getting here judging by the Professor wanting to protect Flash. Killing Barry's mom is a feat belonging to another one I think. I think with the mention of 'Crisis', Zoom came back in time to prepare Barry for that event.

I don't know anything about Flash from comic books, etc. so it's fun to watch the story unfold. Although it's pretty obvious the prof. guy has more going on - he's Zoom I guess from reading your post Slash. My favorite part is Barry's back story, love that Joe will now help him prove his Dad's innocence, that he believes Barry.

Malese Jow to Play Linda Park on 'The Flash'!
The CW is keeping it in the family! The Flash just enlisted Vampire Diaries and Star-Crossed alum Malese Jow to play the coveted role of Linda Park! According to THR, the 23-year-old actress’ character is being described as a “quick-witted reporter for the Central City Picture News.” The mag reports, “She befriends Iris (Candice Patton) while at work and helps her navigate the fast-paced world of journalism. When she meets Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) at a local bar, the two hit it off and become quick friends.” www.justjaredjr.com/2014/10/27/malese-jow-to-play-linda-park-on-the-flash/

I hope werr get to see more of him Sent from my SM-G900T using proboards Last night's episode was GREAT! I loved the Firestorm stuff, so well done. Both the Amells posted a photo of today of them in their respective character outfits that a lot of fans were hoping maybe a hint at firestorm making an appearance on Arrow! I would see Firestorm in anything because I love the complexity of that character. Some fans even mentioned how great would it be to have like a spin off miniseries that would contain Ray Palmer's ATOM and Firestorm working together. I kinda dig that idea, though I want to see ATOM in action first. The Flash is just killing its first season. It is just so incredibly fun to watch. I think more than any other comic related tv show or movie it has to most comic book feel to it, while everything else has gotten so dark and gritty, Flash still manages to keep the lightness, much of that owed to Grant Gustin being incredible in the role. but I think my favorite actor on the show has to be Jesse L Martin's Joe. Joe can make me cry almost every episode, there is such a quiet strength to his character that I can't get enough of.

OH MY GOD! Tonight's episode was ON FIRE. I still have not even processed everything that went down. That was season finale level of intensity. That scene between Cisco and Wells ...I think my heart stopped beating. MY EMOTIONS

wow yes it was!!! Do we have sypnosises for the next episodes somewhere?
So my theory is Einstein's theory. You can only see objects with light. You cannot see what's dark. But light needs a little little time to get from an object to your eye. So a tiny little time passes from the moment something happens until you can see it. (That how they measure distances in the universe. Lightyears..)So Einstein said if you can move faster than the light that moves from the place where something happens to your eye you can arrive before something happens. And if you add some speed to this theory you can arrive even sooner... like not this tiny little moment but a whole day before something happens... that's what Barry did. He was 1 day faster than the light... he arrived 1 day back in time Hopefully he can save Cisco now

I mean I knew it was coming because because that has always been one of Flash's powers but I will be interested how they apply it in the show. Also how this altering of time changes things, Barry now knows how Iris feels even though she won't know that he knows but it will certainly change the way he interacts with her now. Obviously Barry will be able to save Cisco, but the team is still close to discovering Wells secret. There is such a fine line for this to get so convoluted and a hot mess but the writers do an amazing job of being clear and precise with every moment. This show has really impressed me, with their action, developing characters, and the right emotional notes. Seriously I cry more during The Flash than almost any other show I watch. The Barry/Joe or Barry/dad talks always get me. Jesse L Martin as Joe gives me life...if they kill his character off I will be a wreck.

If Barry saves Cisco he will know that wells is evil.... barry will know a lot but he cannot save everyone in one day... save cisco, do all the things that made iris kiss him and save her dad and stop the tsunami... although he can relive this day over and over he still needs to do everything at once... he will have to decide

Cisco is never going to be in the perdicament now of finding out wells secret. Well atleast not now.
If Barry went back in time atleast a day. It will give him enough time to be there at the police station to get the weather wizard therefote preventing the captain from even getting paralyzed.
It will change the order of events and Cisco wont have time to be snooping around I think.

The series of events will be different so Cisco won't necessarily need to be saved because he won't be doing the same thing as before because Barry will be able to stop the weather wizard instantly this time around altering the original timeline. but really only prolonging the inevitable with someone finding out about Wells. and possibly losing their life for it. I keep having this sinking feeling it will be Joe by season's end. Which would be so devastating, but also makes sense for the story at the same time. I do so look forward to this show every week.
