Wasn't sure if this fits here, but it does end in theories. This thread is my new default....after screwing up a couple times. lol This was my response why Elena went to the cabin and why Silas and Tessa keep hammering Damon. I answered your question...why Elena contacted Stefan....She found out Damon had killed him twice, and wanted to check if he was alright. All could have been avoided if Damon had told her the night before when he filled her in on the "Bonnie Plan" Damon prioritizes was exactly my point....Damon decides what and when to tell Elena about things that happen. Sooner or later she'll get tired of always getting half the story. As far a Silas and Tessa preying on Damon's insecurities....I agree, there is something else involved than Damon just being an easy target. Frankly I wish they both would just drop it. DE needs to survive or fall.... without supernatural interference. Enough was used putting them together! As an SE fan, (now S) I really don't want Stefan and Elena getting close the way she's changed. She's with exactly who she deserves. The thought of Stefan and her becoming BFF's while she's sleeping with his brother, would destroy Stefan's character beyond repair. I don't think Stefan will be mad at Damon for falling for his girl, but Elena is an entirely different matter. She's like a kid with a toy box of Salvator dolls, and one of the toys is missing. Not a great way to look at the heroine of the series.....I agree. lol Here's some theories for ya about their involvement. *Maybe Tessa had a hand in DE getting together and we'll find out S4 SB wasn't vamp-blood related at all. Now she's using reverse physiology on Damon to keep him engaged and working to prove the "universe" wrong. *Silas knows Damon's mind...and the more he tries to drive wedges the harder Damon hold's on. Silas still has more plans for Stefan and the more segregated he is from those he loves the easier the plan will be to implement. Maybe Stefan will give his life for Elena or Damon....boy that would be a plot twist loaded with guilt for both to deal with.  Shoe we dabbled with this theory in another thread! I believe this may be what is going on and this is what damon's part in all this and would explain Elena's behavior and all the logic. I think however DE fans would be pissed and I am not sure how they are going to go about that story line. However if you look at the ratings everything is going up so they may not care. I think if Ian was to get a great story line at the end of season five DE would still watch as SE has now. we are mad at elena lol and don't necessarily want him with stefen and maybe that is the intelligence of the writers. We chastise the writers a lot but in all actuality they make some pretty bold choices and do things to keep both fandoms watching. I think it is pretty smart actually. annoying but smart. |

wait I thought it went like this: -Tessa gave Silas the cure but he didn't take it because he didn't want to end up in the supernatural purgatory that Tessa created. -Silas thought Amara was dead so he wanted to wait to take the cure until he found out how to destroy "the otherside" sohe could just die and be at peace. -Tessa created the other-side with an anchor and made that anchor Amara (the person Silas thought was dead) so that Silas could not destroy it. - Silas took the cure not knowing Amara was alive still and then Amara drank the cure from Silas and now Amara is cured and Silas is in the same predicament that Katherine is. I think this is right, but I am not sure anymore. I think you're right too...... napoli's question still remains."why did Tessa create the "otherside"? knowing Amara wasn't there. She's simply that pissed....what better revenge than to have Silas take the cure and kill himself to be with his "one true love"....and spend eternity looking for Amara who isn't there. LOLOLOL The b*** is really devious....brings a whole new meaning to "woman scorned" doesn't it? Poster seem to write off Tessa as crazy....for me she's "crazy with a purpose. =)  Love it...crazy with purpose.  Tessa is smart making Amara an immortal the anchor. There is still so much to find out. Why did the travelers lock Amara up? Were they worried she would seek out Silas? Also do the travelers want the veil to continue to exist or do they want to destroy it? It would make sense that the travelers want it destroyed so they made programmed Amara to seek out the cure so they could kill her once she was no longer mortal again. Do you think that now Silas and Amara are no longer immortal that the doppelganger curse is broken? |

another thought: Those travelers... where are they traveling? I thought they were called travellers because they can travel into another body like Gregor went into Matt's body. Then I thought maybe they can travel between both sides of the veil.. but Tessa said Silas and her were once the most powerful travelers of all so I guess the travelers existed before the veil and the other side were created... so where do travelers travel to? Maybe to the place were all dead people used to go before the other side was created? But then again they would want the same thing as Silas wanted so why did they try to stop him in the warehouse....
Help I'm going crazy over this

We still don't know how they differ from witches, but I think they'll come down on the side of restoring natural balance. This is what drove them to reverse the immortally spell. What is confusing is them fighting Damon, but I think their goal was the same.....it need to be done differently. And YES.....If I was writing, Silas and Amara's status as human is the perfect time to end the DC. (doppelganger curse) lol Boy it would be fun to be a fly on the wall in the writers room. I wonder what their drinking ....sometimes.  Kiki, liked your post...I laughed the whole time I read it because I kept thinking "their traveling to NJ" =) |

You've always been a compulsive obsessive person, who's goal in life was to have his consuming love returned. That said at some point you made the choice that your needs were more important, than how it would effect me. Knowing you, it was your only choice. I have no doubt you would give your life for me in an instant, on an impulse.... if the situation came up, but given time to think about sacrificing something you want to keep from coming between me and my happiness, you'll always chose "yourself" I'm not mad, it's just you, brother. Elena, I'm not mad at you either. You knew you were "the love of my life" and that simply wasn't enough for you. You chose to be with my brother, rather than spend your life with me. So there you have my blessing, but don't expect me to stay in the same house and have you carve off little pieces of my heart daily, it's just too painful. Don't worry... unlike my brother, I can live without you. I truly love you and always will, but I don't "need" you to survive. It's not what I wanted but it's simply not possible for me to go from "love of my life" to "best friend". The pain and guilt of my memories returning is something I need to work out for myself, and being around both of you right now will cause more problems than it solves for all of us. So I'll be moving on like I planned before Silas stopped me, to work through my problems somewhere else. Have a wonderful life together, you both gave up so much to make it happen. Bye

Just as everyone anticipated Stefan's returned to Ripperville after the Safe.....His memory return won't be what we expect.... I'm hoping for a new more self empowered version....Yes he will be looking to get even with Silas and that won't necessarily mix well with DE's new Bonnie plan. (what ever that is).....I'm really hopeful Stefan tells DE exactly how he feels before he leaves the mansion. Many posters on the other site...think it"s going to be business as usual for the Salvatore Brothers and Stefan is going to be happy with his loss and support DE....LOL I just smile and pull my hands off the keyboard.  Matt's a great idea....Stefan is pretty much the only Vamp other than Elena...he would invite in. |

Someone I exchange with on the "other side" put forth a couple of theories that were interesting..... One is that Stefan wasn't even drowning in the quarry all summer. The speculation is that Tessa either rescued him immediately, then spent the summer doing who knows what and then planted the false drowning memories/rescue as a way to keep him in the dark about what really happened and also control him OR, That Tessa and Silas are in this together and they're both manipulating the entire gang for some sinister motive that hasn't been revealed yet. That the whole raising the veil last season had nothing to do with Silas wanting to get to Amara but was, in fact, a way of getting Tessa back from the Other Side so they could team up and use their powerful magic together for something awful, I'm sure. I was telling her my theory that there was more to the SB than "vamp blood", because of the way it manifested and the relative easy it was destroyed...not at all the canon the NOLA witch gave us. |
