Reign (The CW) When to Watch: Friday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. What to Expect: Two queens means two courts! With the introduction of Queen Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten), Reign will split time between France and England in season three, with viewers meeting a whole new host of characters. But will the two courts ever come together? "Obviously, they're a sea part from one another, but you will see some travel back and forth," showrunner Laurie McCarthy teases. "We will see some cross-pollination between the two courts." www.eonline.com/photos/16921/2015-fall-tv-spoiler-rama/513107

Question: What is in store for Lord Narcisse on Reign next season? —VeronikaAusiello: Well, Veronika, if you aren’t already a fan of Craig Parker’s shady character — as I suspect you are, since you asked about him — you probably will be after the Oct. 9 season premiere. Though he hasn’t always been an ally to Mary and Francis, he’ll prove most useful when their enemies begin plotting against them. As for Lola, Narcisse remains intent on winning her over, no matter the cost. tvline.com/2015/09/30/greys-anatomy-250th-episode-spoilers-arizona-season-12/

It's coming quick, guys...... official Season 3 Trailer and a Fan made trailer I like better gclm knows Narcisse is on my list to get exactly what Condé got..... I hope the writers don't make me dislike Mary again... last season was hard to keep watching...... I wonder if all the CW writers and show runners lead very unfaithful lives, and it's just art imitating life?

I was wondering if youReign Frary know anything about Reign‘s Francis? Toby [Regbo] is nowhere to be found, and we are worried he might be done already. Can you easy our worry, please? Also, anything about Frary! –CharlieCheer up, Charlie — there’s plenty of Francis to be seen in Friday’s Season 3 premiere, and now that he’s been formally reunited with Mary, you can in turn expect lots of fun Frary action. Of course, there’s also that small matter of his impending death, which gets uncomfortably addressed in the first episode back. (Have those tissues ready.) Is there still hope for Greer and Leith in Season 3 of Reign, or is their romance over for good? –IleniaIf there is still hope for that pairing, it certainly isn’t visible in Friday’s premiere, which introduces a potential new suitor for the still-married Greer — and this one is accustomed to getting exactly what he wants. (Bonus scoop: Leith/Greer isn’t the only fan-fave relationship you should be worried about as we head into Season 3.) tvline.com/2015/10/05/arrow-season-4-spoilers-felicitys-father/

Reign boss reveals Francis will die this season
Despite the fact that Reign doesn’t always follow the history books, one thing is certain: King Francis will die in the upcoming third season of the series. Showrunner Laurie McCarthy spoke exclusively to EW about the death, and why she wanted to spoil it before the season began. “I wanted people to get used to it — there was no way around it in the storytelling,” McCarthy said. “We’ve done shocking deaths and that’s not the tone of this story.” McCarthy added: “I wanted it to be an emotional journey that we all went on and that we could all feel the highs and lows of, and I wanted it to be a love story. I didn’t want it to be something that shocked the fans or really anybody. I needed to process it, too.” By spoiling it, McCarthy says fans will be “heartbroken but you won’t be reeling. I think it’s better to reel with them and to be with the characters as they process it.” Then there’s also the fact that she loves Francis. “I love that character and I love Toby [Regbo] so I just couldn’t imagine doing it any other way.” (Yes, Regbo has always known his fate. He just didn’t know the timing until this season.) As to why now is the right time for Francis’ reign to come to an end, McCarthy said: “We definitely take liberties with history but there is an element of history that we felt beholden to.” But even more than that, killing Francis is a way for the show to honor its pilot, which foreshadows the young king’s death. (Of course, in real life, King Francis died of an ear infection at 16.) “The pilot promises his death, it foretells it and it promises that it’s going to be a tragic love story,” McCarthy said. “It felt incredibly naturally like it was time, before we got so far away from what the stakes that we put in the ground at the beginning.” In fact, McCarthy said there wasn’t a moment in the writers room when Francis was going to survive. Although the writers discussed it over the years, she said his death was just so woven into the pilot and furthermore, the first season. For the writers, it was always just a matter of when. “His death allows you to tell a story that really honors their love and believe me, there will be tears. There’ll be a lot of them, and I think there’ll be also a lot of incredibly uplifting moments because it just deepens [Francis and Mary’s] very existence, individually and together as a couple, and so we were really ready to tell that kind of a love story, And it also it really reboots some of the stories for the other characters because it sets people on a different course,” McCarthy said.”He’s not just the lead of our show. He’s not just a love interest. He’s the king of France.” McCarthy promises a proper — though maybe not quite by the history books — send-off: “When you look back at the end of it, you’ll realize that all the seeds were planted, and that the prophecy is in fact fulfilled,” she said. “But it won’t be fulfilled necessarily in the way one might imagine it would be. It’s going to be a great journey. It’s going to be full of twists and turns, but it is going to be a weeper of epic proportions.” www.ew.com/article/2015/10/09/reign-king-francis-death-season-3

deb and Kiki are you guys watching this season? They have produced two winners as far as I'm concerned. I do enjoy this series (post Conde) Catherine is such a devious wench, you can't help but admire her plots.... gclm, I thought I'd put something here rather than our PM The only thing that bothered me last night was Mary telling Francis how she couldn't plan a life without him, when just 3 episodes ago she was doing that very thing with Conde.... She comes off a little like Kenna when it comes to making easy promises to protect her self..... I'm not saying that's what Mary's doing, but I still don't totally forgive her for what she did to Francis.... Anyway, I hope Francis wards off death till the final episode so I can keep watching.... right now it's a ton of fun. I still don't trust Narcisse, he's got some angle up his sleeve.

Last night episode was really good! It's really sad to know that Francis will die I like the new Charles specially when he agreed to marry Mary Like you shoe20 I'm still mad at Mary but it was really sad that she is planning a future without Francis Seems like you were right about Narcisse... Poor Lola I like Leith and the princess! I want more scenes with them! Again the SL of Bash was boring and it just don't make sense... The last scene with Catherine it was kind of funny... just the first time...

SPOILER:
Does Narcisse and Lola’s marriage mean the end of Narcisse and Catherine on Reign? — SashaNot exactly. Once Francis dies, there’s going to be a new reason for Narcisse and Catherine to come together. “[Francis’ death] shifts the power dynamic at court between Narcisse and Catherine,” showrunner Laurie McCarthy says. “There’s going to be a huge battle for the regency coming up and a blossoming relationship between Catherine and Narcisse, because his ambition is going to be awakened again.” So the question is: Does Narcisse love Lola or power? www.ew.com/article/2015/10/30/spoiler-room-supergirl-htgawm-once-upon-time-spoilers
