I'm torn by this episode. They pointed out AGAIN that Human Elena loved Stefan and Vamplena loved Damon.... is this a hint that she might become human again soon? But even if she does... after what she has done to Stefan her love for him wasn't as strong as his love for her. So is she worth of him? I'm not sure. At least Caroline's love is real and she hates Damon so no danger to betray Stefan there. .... well... but reading the latest sypnosis... Why is Damon helping Caroline with her grief and why doesn't it say anything about Stefan? There is still so much story to tell with her character development and she will be worthy of his love. Comparing what Elena went through when becoming a vampire (losing her love for Stefan) versus Stefan's feelings for Elena isn't fair. Newbie vampire Stefan wouldn't have been able either to sustain a healthy loving relationship with anyone because of his descent into darkness. It's similar with what Elena is going through. She isn't able to sustain a healthy loving relationship but remains drawn to darkness and dysfunction. Yes, that is very true. Maybe I can give Elena more time. At the best we have one and a half more seasons left. But last night actually felt as though it could have been a series finale.

You need to remember too that when SE were together Elena was continually reassuring Stefan that she loved HIM. That she would always choose HIM. SE were soul mates. SE were epic. Everyone was rooting for them on the show. Could you have ever imagined that Elena would have chosen Damon? Yet she did but the writers had to take Elena to her darkest place and had to change her in order to love Damon. Her character has done a complete flip - as brought up again by Kai although this isn't any new information but rather a reminder. I don't believe the writers are done with her development. Elena can easily change again either by becoming human or by having her full humanity. It's a matter of when it will happen. I'm torn by this episode. They pointed out AGAIN that Human Elena loved Stefan and Vamplena loved Damon.... is this a hint that she might become human again soon? Why is Damon helping Caroline with her grief and why doesn't it say anything about Stefan? I do think they are raising the stakes for that possibility. But they keep teasing -- and then eliminating -- all the ways she could be restored to human. Grrr.

Price Peterson's recapSince I know the writers read that one and they are unduly impressionable, I'm curious about his reviews.

Here's the rehash for 'The Day I tried to Live' with guest host Steven R. McQueen. Hey, what is he doing there? Shouldn't he be packing for his imaginary school?

Hi Fellow TVD Fans,
After seeing and hearing the news that we will no longer see the character of Jeremy, I am feeling mixed emotions. How is everyone else handling the news? Will he be missed by fans as well as the characters themselves?
What I liked:
Seeing how Stefan's and Caroline's relationship is building.
What I did not like:
Liv's way of acting out, but then again she has just lost her brother.
Favourite Scene/ Quote:
Tyler telling Liv he doesn't want to see her again -- so passionate.
Shocking Scenes:
When Jeremy switched the garage gate button, I didn't think he could do it.
