shoe20 I'm back!I think you've confused Kiki with that post though. I know I am! I get my gifs from several different tumblr sites, not just one. Yes that person was definitely creative! I died laughing at the "man child" comment because that's what we've referred to Louis as! I really hope Porthos finds out about the baby tomorrow!!! I'm not looking forward to this!!!



I know he'll be ok, but seeing my Aramis !!! I don't care if it is his stunt double, it's still not ok!!! Santiago does all his own sword figting, but there is no way they'd let him tumble out a window like that!!! It looks like him though doesn't it!
I love the BTS videos. I knew it had to be hot for them with those costumes! Especially Santiago! He looks like he wears more than the others for some reason. Poor things. They burn up in the summer and freeze in the winter! Oh the things they go through for us!!!

Btw, I'm with wednesday about watching and writing at the same time. I actually watch on Sat. b/c I'd rather watch on the big screen. Have fun though!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way!!! I like to savor the moments with my musketeers!Besides you guys get my indepth thoughts on here anyway obviously!!

Yeah, they'll keep the brotherhood at all costs, even with Treville I think. Porthos bounces back pretty well. He may have to sort things out for awhile. Athos took off alone when he was upset; Porthos' style is probably starting street brawls or losing himself in games.

You're right. I think Porthos will be angry at first, but he will bounce back after a few fights! Maybe shoe20 will get his fork fight again! Athos and Porthos can go on a bender together! Although defending on what happens with Anne and Constance, Aramis and D'artagnan may join them!!


I love that smilie: Hee! I remember really liking Constance when she backhanded Aramis for laughing. She likes to slap Aramis. Can't wait until #6!


Isn't she cute!! This totally reminded me of Constance!! She does have a thing for slapping my guy doesn't she! She certainly puts him in his place, but I think that's why he respects her so much!! He definitely has a soft spot for her which is why I love all their scenes together.

What a great episode!! I was almost a basket case! One minute I'm and then I'm Lots of feels in this one that's for sure! I don't know where to start so..... I guess I'll just jump in. I hope y'all can keep up with my racing thoughts!


Question: When everyone was walking along the pathway fixing to go into Marmion's place did y'all notice if Aramis was carrying the baby in the basket? There was the promo pic for it, but they didn't really show it? When everyone walks in it looks like he's walking right next to the queen and Marguerite with the baby? Did anyone else notice that? I noticed that Anne and Aramis were trying to stay as close to each other as possible. Was it just me or did Marmion look like Rochefort? Seriously they could've passed for brothers. His brother Robert looked more like Athos... I don't think little brother had a clue how far big brother was willing to go with his game! shoe20 As you know I about freaked when Aramis went out the window! I knew it was going to happen, but I wasn't expecting it quite like that! The looks of horror on Porthos, D'artagnan and Anne's faces! Poor Anne. She has to try to hold it together and not look upset when she wanted to scream with Porthos! They did a good job of making it look like he had a gash in his head!!! I kept wanting someone to give him some stitches, but we know that no one is as good a seamstress as Aramis!!! He can't stitch up his own head can he?

I think it's funny that it takes almost 4 men to hold Porthos down and it only takes 1 for Rochefort!!

I loved the look on Porthos's face when he saw that Aramis was alive!

I felt so sorry for those poor people that the guy murdered! That was so sad. I didn't expect it to get that violent.

I loved the whole scene with Aramis and Anne in the room which I will post in gif form! I did love how Aramis rushed into save Anne and his son while Marguerite stood there as if she didn't even exist! Get a clue woman!!! Did she not see him on his knees kissing Anne's hands!!!! He pushed you away and ran over to check on his son who he's always asking about btw!!! Is it starting to be clear to you now!!! She looked like she was starting to get a clue.  It was so sweet how Anne was reassuring him that his son was fine and that he would know about how his father protects him someday! Anne making the comment to Aramis about still wearing the cross will come up in the next episode thanks to the promo. I wonder why Rochefort wants it? Does he figure things out between them and want it because it's Anne's?


I actually liked Milady in this episode except for the first few minutes when she was flaunting herself in front of the queen. She stood up for everyone and showed Louis how to be a man because he certainly isn't one.. She really came through even though it was for her own self interest and it ended up backfiring on her in the end. Louis said she abandoned him even though she totally saved his butt! He gives all the credit to Rochefort as usual and she gets thrown out of the palace! I wonder what's going to happen to her? Definitely some tension between her and Athos! He still cares what happens to her and she doesn't even care now!

Constance and D'artagnan were amazing together! Both supporting and encouraging each other through the whole ordeal willing to die for the other one! That is true love there people!!! They were fighting side by side while little man child was cowering in front of the table waiting for everyone else to rescue him!!! What a pathetic excuse for a human being!!! Even the other men who ended up dying were trying to fight before, but not Louis! No! He tucks his feet up in the chair like a big cry baby!!!! I am getting beyond fed up with the writers having Louis treat the Musketeers with constant contempt and worship the filth that Rochefort walks in! He was tied up while the others were on their way to rescue them and the others were fighting to save everyone else while he ran after Marmion and shot him and yet Louis calls him the hero!! Can someone please kill Louis!!! Robert knew he wasn't going to get out of there alive so I guess the best way to go out was by his own brother's hand.  I was really hoping with Treville helping save everyone that Louis would open his little infant eyes and make him Capt again, but no such luck!!! I love how the others still refer to him as Capt and are willing to follow his orders and how Anne always puts faith in the Musketeers and gives them credit for keeping her safe rather than Rochefort and his Red Guards. She knows as long as the Musketeers are around they will rescue her no matter what! It's funny how Athos told Aramis to come right back after he got Anne and the baby to safety! He knows him so well! Aramis probably wanted to get in a carriage with those two and go to another country!

I wonder if after Porthos's little chat with Rochefort he will figure out it was Anne that he was talking about? What has Anne done to make him think she has feelings for him? She's barely been around him! Louis shows more affection for him than Anne does! You'd think Louis was in love with him with the way he acts and worships him! I almost laughed myself silly when Louis asked Anne why everyone hated him! Seriously! Is he trying to be a stand up comedian! She lied to him and told him his people loved him! Oh they love him alright! That's why everyone is always trying to kill him!!!!

The scene with Anne and Constance reuniting was so sweet! I love how close they have become! You can tell that Marguerite is so jealous of that relationship too. I loved Constance and D'artagnan reuniting and admitting that they want to be together, but what about her husband? Can she get a divorce? Now that she's friends with the queen she has protection and doesn't have to worry about being thrown out on the street. I wanted to laugh at Louis when he asked Anne if Constance was married and she said yes I believe she is. shoe20 What do you think was going through Aramis and Anne's minds when they were looking at each other watching the other two together? "If they can get away with this why can't we?" They both looked mighty pleased with themselves! I guess you could say the affair is over with Marguerite!!! He walked right past her like he didn't even see her! A woman scorned indeed! She will definitely be running to Rochefort now. I just wonder how she's going to try to get his necklace away from him!

So to recap: LOVED Aramis and Anne, D'artagnan and Constance, liked Milady actually attempt to help even though it was for her own self interest, Athos and Treville bonding, people trying to contain the awesomeness that is Porthos! HATE: Louis!!! He is a despicable human being! I don't know how they're going to make him remotely likeable. Looking at the promo for next week something obviously goes wrong which will give him another opportunity to blame the Musketeers yet again!!!! Can we change history and just kill him now!!!Rochefort is still creepy and disgusting!

That's funny Kiki ..... we both thought last night she said "our son".... probably because that's what we wanted to hear..... I did watch it again and there's no doubt she said "MY"  But immediatly after that the look on Marguarte's face leaves no doubt she knows the truth..... Anne sees it too and quickly jumps into "the musketeers will always protect....yada.. yada..

Great review post wednesday, I really enjoyed it and you didn't miss much.... first....  That episode had it all...very fun... drama, action, suspense, and feels complete with a declaration of love at the end.  Beest ep this season.

Does anyone think Treville meant what he told Athos about trying something new???  I hope he doesn't go away...

I watched a couple of times and Aramis/Marguarite/baby were not shown on the path..they were however the second couple threw the door behind Louis/Anne..... and Aramis was carrying his son. (what's with this "y'all, BB.... your country girl is showing or you've been hanging out with me too much. lol)

I think Marguerite is going to tell Rochefort of her suspensions about Aramis and Anne.  The snake is going to use the necklace to set Aramis up.  Funny he goes to all that trouble, he's got his head so far up Louis butt he could speak for him.

The "man-child" in fetal position on the floor during the fight says it all, doesn't it...  Actually it's great we have a snake villain to hate..... a man-child to be disgusted with..... two great couples to root for and no triangles at all..... life is good....

What a lip lock at the end... d'Artagnan kept kissing her and Constance kept kissing him back....I really though he was gona throw her down in the grass and forget every one was there...  Anne and Aramis looking at each other like they wanted some too.  A double date is in order.... the four of them need to take a trip to the country....

Even a villain like Marmion did something right.... He tied d"Art and Constance together. .... It was really sweet when d"Artagnan kissed Constance on the forehead to comfort and reassure her it was going to be alright



Of course that led to this....wow, what a hot kiss.... I don't know if guys get "feels" but this did something for me. lol

I don't think so! Where else is he going to go! There weren't exactly a lot of options around back then! Although he may be desperate enough to try to find something with Louis acting like a complete entitled man child and constantly kissing Rochefort's butt!!!

They had this promo pic which they obviously didn't use. I guess they put this out to send us fangirls into a tizzy to make sure we'd tune in!!! I am a southern girl btw, not a country girl. There is a difference, but we all still say y'all in the southern states.

I think it's disgusting how the men can get away with having mistresses back then yet the women would be accused of treason and probably put to dead!!! Louis had his mistress riding in his carriage with his wife and has put her up in the palace!!! It's disgusting. If people found out about Anne and Aramis, they'd both be put to death!!!Do you think Marguerite will go to Rochefort willingly or he will go to her threatening her for info because in those pics it looks like he's threatening her by grabbing her!!!

It's called good writing which is quite rare for shows these days!!! Although they seriously need to tone it down with Louis. I can only take so many temper tantrums!!! It's a shame they didn't make pacifiers back then because Louis could surely use one!!!!

I thought the same thing! I wonder how uncomfortable it was to shoot that scene with everyone standing around watching them! I would love to see the outtakes! I would also love a double date to the country!!!! I know Constance would certainly cover for Anne to see Aramis, but I wonder if D'artagnan would with him being so noble and all. Out of all the guys he seems to be the one that has the biggest problem keeping a secret, but as long as Constance is in on it I guess it would be ok now.

Speaking of outtakes I hope we get a bts video of how they did the ledge scene with Santiago. I want to see how they shot that because he is terrified of heights and that was him up on that ledge. He said that is the one scene he was afraid to do all season. So I'm looking forward to that since we've gotten some videos in the other episodes.

Nothing wrong with that!!! That's what I love about this show!! You have couples to root for that really love each other without any triangles and you have amazing friendships which I find are at the heart of the show!
