The Originals' Charles Michael Davis on Freya's Arrival, Marcel's New Romance tvline.com/2015/01/26/the-originals-spoilers-freya-marcel-gia/#more-582660“He’s trapped in the Compound right now, so he can’t really get on Tinder or Match.com, but Gia might be a possible love interest,” Davis notes. “He likes her character and her strength, so maybe you’ll see something develop there. You never know.”
Well boo! There go my hopes of Elijah and Gia! Elijah can't get all the girls wednesday. But I understand how you feel. I was hoping for a Elijah/Gia "romance" ever since they locked eyes on each other in the "fight", but I don't mind Marcel and her. He likes her and they have good chemistry, so why not. Marcel needs a good storyline, cause this season he's been floundering a bit, so hopefully this helps. Last episode was good. Next week's should be better. Yeah, the Marcel/Gia dynamic was looking good in Monday's episode. Sorry wednesday....

SPOILER:
We know Hayley’s big secret on The Originals, but is this ritual going to reveal more about Jackson? — SusanBasically, yes, and it will involve her parents. But perhaps more interesting is what the ritual won’t reveal. “He’s definitely done more than he’s going to let on,” Nathan Parsons says. “There’s a lot of history in his life—all the stuff he had to go through growing up under Marcel’s rule and what the wolves have had to do to survive. Going forward, you’ll start to see more and more of that come out.” Don’t worry, Parsons says the good guy act is not fake… and neither is the hair. jennifer Looks like he does have secrets, but he's not bad. I'm still curious to see if they actually go through with the marriage though.

He sounds like a keeper on the show for awhile if there's going to be more backstory. I've always been curious what happened to the wolves under Marcel's rule. As Haley learns about their oppression, will she turn to Jackson? It was hard to believe Haley would marry Jackson when the story started to unfold, but now they're setting up a SL where she has a reason to bond with him. Love him? Not sure. Of course, there's always the possibility he'll tell his story and end up dying before the marriage. Ah, the overused convenient death option.

He was on General Hospital back in the day when I still watched it and I really liked his character. To be honest I'm still trying to get into the wolf storyline. I've never really been a fan. Maybe this will intrigue me more. It will be interesting to see the Marcel backstory since we've heard so much about it since the pilot. That will give him something else to do. I still wonder if she'll actually go through with the marriage. Love him! No way! Would you get over Elijah after that night at the safe house!! I think not!!! There was that spoiler that was put out about one of the siblings dying at the other's hand. I think it's going to be Kol, but others are speculating Finn. Who do you think it will be? They just made him a regular so I don't really see that happening with Finn right now.

I love backstory in general, so Jackson, Marcel - bring it on! I like this version of Kol but he's a goner for the reason you mentioned about casting. Or can Freya die again? It looked like an actual body in the coffin. Maybe she's possessed or evil or something. Now I'm just spouting poorly thought out speculation so I'll leave it at that.

SPOILER:
Stephanie: Can we get The Originals scoop please?
Get ready for a new dynamic between Elijah and Klaus in the wake of Hayley's wedding! "I can't speak enough of Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies and their performances coming up," executive producer Michael Narducci says. "They are going to explore the question of what a family owes each other and what family obligations necessitate in episodes coming up. We're beginning to see a new dynamic in the Klaus/Elijah relationship and that's going to affect us for a long time to come. It's going to have longstanding effects."

SPOILER:
Question: Will we get to see Dahlia in the present day on The Originals this season, and if so, what episode? — Tom
Ausiello: Dahlia will indeed show her face in present-day New Orleans — and sooner than you might think. Klaus’ evil aunt arrives in Episode 18, but not before we discover even more twisted secrets about her. “We’re going to go back and learn more about Dahlia and Esther’s history over the next few episodes,” star Joseph Morgan says, adding that the new information “will really humanize both of them.”

SPOILER:
Is Esther really dead on The Originals? — Mary
I can’t speak as to whether anyone’s ever really dead on The Originals, but I do know that you can expect more of Esther in the future … at least in some form or another. According to Joseph Morgan, Dahlia’s arrival will provide information about their past, which will “help us to sympathize with Esther a bit more I think,” he says. “The thing I love the most about the show is it really humanizes these characters that are potentially villains. The whole area of who’s good and who’s bad is muddied, and you’re left to make up your own mind.” In other words, now that Esther might be dead, you could actually start to like her.

SPOILER:
Losing Mikael on The Originals was awful, but I have a bad feeling that isn’t the last big death of the season. — Matt
Well, Matt, you are not wrong. When asked point blank if Mikael’s death was the last of season 2, Originals executive producer Michael Narducci replies, “No, not at all. Not even close, unfortunately.” And if you’re thinking that probably means more than one person you love is going to die before season’s end, you’d be right. “There are a few more deaths and they are just as heartbreaking and really, really sad,” Narducci says. (Please don’t be Elijah. Please don’t be Elijah.) I knew it!! There had to be someone else other than Mikael, but a few more! Good grief! I may need counseling before it's all over with! People I could do without: Hayley, Jackson and Cami. As much as Cami has grown on me this season she really serves no purpose in the show anymore. They don't know what to do with her character. She just shows up every now and then to try to comfort one of the guys so I don't see the need to keep her around anymore. Actually everyone, but Klaus and Elijah are pretty expendable. I like Marcel and it would be pretty devastating for the others to lose him, but it would open doors for them all to grieve and try to see how they deal with the fallout. I'd say they could do without Davina, but they do need a witch on their side unless they plan on bringing someone new in. Josh and Aiden pop up here and there and don't really contribute that much either even though I like both of them. I like Gia and would love to see her stick around for obvious reasons which makes me think she'll be one of the ones to go just because I've gotten attached to her! I could do without Hayley and Jackson. As much as I use to like Hayley all she does is whine in every episode and it gets on my last nerve!! She does absolutely nothing at all! Jackson is useless too! I think they'll keep this Rebekah so Claire can come back if she chooses. Freya could go unless they have some great big story for her other than to stir up trouble between the other siblings. Vincent? I have no idea what they have planned for him? Did I leave anyone out? At this point it's anyone's guess! moshe12 and jennifer Care to speculate ladies!

Getting past that, you made a good pros/cons list wednesday. I do think Gia could get caught up in the fight between Klaus/siblings. Elijah can't catch a break in love (or lust) it seems. I hope she doesn't leave though! I'd rather see Cami and Jackson go, although if Gia stays around and there's no Jackson, that will probably mean a triangle with Elijah/Haley, which no, just no. Vincent doesn't have a story at the moment but I like him and want him to stick around. You're right, anyone's guess! I expect Haley to stay around unless Phoebe Tonkin wants to leave.
