jennifer and moshe12Ok so according to these articles we're going to lose more people before the finale. I guess someone else will die next week. Care to guess? I was really hoping it would be Jackson, but he makes it through to EP21 and I read on another site that Nathan revealed in an interview that he'll be around for next season. Boo!!!!! This means we're going to lose people we actually care about and end up being stuck with his lame butt!!! From the way Marcel is going right now it could be him. By betraying Klaus I don't see him fairing very well at the moment. My poor Gia looks like her number may be up if they're cleaning house. They're talking about having more romance next season! Sorry but I shudder at the thought! If there's one thing these writers have proven it's that they can't write a love story without destroying it. TVD is proof of that and so are the ratings no offense guys. That's what made this show different. The thought of them putting Elijah with Hayley now makes me want to Whatever feelings I had before about them the writers have ruined. I like him with Gia because they are well suited for each other. I don't like how they're having Elijah act like some love sick school boy and betraying his brother for Hayley. Sound familiar? I guess I'll rant about that in the other thread. As for Claire returning as Rebekah, I would love that but only if she's going to stick around. From the article it doesn't sound like she plans to. Rebekah has become a big part of the story now and they need her around. I like the new actress and think she is doing a great job. Do I prefer Claire? Of course I do, but she wants to do other things. She wants to come in every now and then and they can use her in FF's which is always one of my favorite things so we get the best of both. It sounds like they're finally going to do something with Cami so maybe she has a chance! Davina has a real shot at bringing Kol back which I'm very happy about, but at what cost? Maybe Gia will side with Elijah over Marcel and won't help with whatever Marcel has planned? Obviously I want her to stay and explore Elijah a little more...oh, I mean have the show explore them as a couple. I like the new Rebekah too. She's nicer for one thing. Now I'm used to her, so going back to Clair would be an adjustment. I'm torn. Yeah, Cami looks safe after her interaction with Klaus - good tension, heat. Now if they can just figure out a story line for her besides Freudian psychologist b/c it drives me nuts (hey, maybe I need Cami's help to move past those feelings). All that to say Marcel & Davina are the two I see dying. They're practically written out of the story anyway. Heard that there are many out there that are ranting and snubbing the new Bex actress who is doing a fantastic job and is just as pretty as Claire Holt I assume that they havn't grasped the concept of Claire Holt leaving the show as series regular yet . I don't care that much for the romance but Gia and Elijah is a coupling I could feel comfortable with. But I seriously think Cami and Klaus would make an epic couple/dream team if they could get past the psycho sessions, I LOVE their chemistry and I love Cami She is loyal, fierce and the soul and light of the series.

We don't know if he knows that they're sleeping together? I'm assuming he'd have to if they're all living in the same place and if she's living with him? They really don't tell us much about that? I hope she'd side with Elijah. I mean if she's willing to babysit and help guard Hayley who she knows that Elijah is still in love with then I'm thinking she'd do just about anything for him. I've gotten use to the new Rebekah too and hope they keep her. I love Claire too, but like I said I'd only want her back if she plans to stick around permanently and I don't see that happening. She said she wants to come back every now and then and I think they'll use her in the FB's so I'm happy with that. moshe12 I didn't know the new Rebekah was getting backlash? That's a shame because she is doing a good job. I was really worried because I was afraid I wouldn't like her. I couldn't stand the Esther young or old! That's why if they're given the chance to bring Nate back which it looks like they are, the need to jump on it! It's taken me forever to warm up to Cami. Last season I couldn't stand her. She got on my last nerve, but I finally started to like her this season. I wouldn't mind her with Klaus I suppose. I wasn't a big Caroline/Klaus shipper, but they had some major chemistry however since I know that there is probably not a snowballs chance anything will happen between them according to Julie I guess I can settle for Cami. I do hope Gia and Cami make it to next season especially if the writers are planning on having more romance. I truly shudder at the thought though. I just don't want to see Elijah with Hayley in a triangle! That ship has sailed for me! This isn't TVD!

That's assuming Marcel is really on the move, which is rumored and appears possible but we don't know for sure.

SPOILER:
I need some scoop on The Originals‘ Klaus and Hayley. I love their chemistry and dynamic and would like to know if there is a chance for some romance between those two later on? — Fallon
Hey, Klaus and Hayley’s relationship is definitely a major plot point in the season’s final three episodes, but I wouldn’t exactly throw around words like “romance.” Per exec producer Michael Narducci, Klaus’ “increasingly ruthless demands” over how they should protect baby Hope will actually put him further at odds with the mother of his child. “Hayley will come to realize that she has to protect Hope her own way,” Narducci says — even if that means distancing herself from the child’s father.

The Originals star: Season 2 finale sets up 'a whole new show'

The Originals' Danielle Campbell Talks Davina's Plan to Kill Klaus, Revive Kol
tvline.com/2015/04/27/the-originals-spoilers-kol-returning-danielle-campbell-interview/#more-607946
Speaking of power, Campbell notes that Davina has been “experimenting a lot with dark magic” which will “come into play next season.” In the meantime, she’s just excited for fans to see the final three episodes, which culminates in a “really big finale. It closes a lot of doors that have been left open, and the third season will basically feel like a new show. We’re introducing a new storyline and it’s going to be very exciting.”
Davina obviously makes it through to next season so that makes me think that it will be Marcel to go. I wonder what this new storyline will be about? This means we'll hopefully be getting rid of Freya and Dahlia?

jennifer and moshe12Vampire Diaries star Nathaniel Buzolic cast in Significant Motherwww.ew.com/article/2015/05/01/nathaniel-buzolic-significant-motherOk now I'm ticked! I guess this means he won't be back for next season! What a freaking tease! Why keep talking about him all season and bringing him back and then nothing! Sure he'll make an appearance in the finale, but then what! From the way they've been writing this story this sounded like the last chance to bring him back and now they're going to throw it away! We'll never see Nate again! I don't get it! Why won't they bring the character back! The actor obviously was available and is still on great terms with the cast and has a huge fan following and wants to be back from what I've seen. I did read in the comments on this article that it's because Julie hates Nate because he unfollowed her on twitter years ago and that's why she killed him off of TVD. Have y'all ever heard that before? I'd wondered if she hated the character of Kol because it seems like she's tried everything not to bring Nate back as Kol in present day if the opportunity was presented. This would explain why if she had an issue with him personally, but this is the first I've heard of it. I hope this show is a part time thing or limited so he can be back for next season.

I don't know about all that background stuff wednesday, but tbh I never really cared for KOL, whether it was Nat or the body jump guy ...and i have written on some other thread that it is only hinted as a possibility that Kol might come back, he might, my bet ...all that dark stuff will be too much for Davina (who I am frankly tired of) and she might drop dead, necromancy is a shoe too big for her ...

Well I guess Kol was an acquired taste. It took a little while for me to warm up to him, but I found him rather amusing. I loved his bickering with Klaus and Rebekah. You finally had the whole TO family together. I certainly liked him a lot more than Finn who was a stick in the mud. It was funny watching the others always trying to keep Kol in line. Since it is called TO it would be nice to have another sibling around. One that isn't trying to destroy the whole family. I would certainly rather deal with them and the family dynamic than the werewolves who bore me to tears and the Hayley drama. Davina can wear on your nerves at times, but she doesn't bother me as much as Hayley does these days. Davina isn't going anywhere. At least not from what I've read from the articles that I posted. She said they would wrap things up and it would be like a new show next season. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. It depends on what they get rid of.

Who knows what's really happening with Nate not returning. Maybe he's better off! I've never heard the JP rumor; it sounds pretty far-fetched in the sense that Kol was a fan favorite and good for the show at the time. I wanted to see Nate again if they revive Kol - not have him return in yet another body. So maybe that means Davina will fail? Or you're right and Nate will return part-time to Originals. Significant Mother sounds interesting though, might check it out.

I won't mind if Davina dies. I'd rather have Vincent as the head of the witches; he's older and more believable in that role. Maybe Davina fails and all the power returns to Vincent's body when she dies.

I don't think we'll be seeing Maise after all. Her show “OF KINGS AND PROPHETS” on ABC got picked up. Good for her, but I'll still miss her. “OF KINGS AND PROPHETS”
An epic Biblical saga of faith, ambition and betrayal as told through the eyes of a battle-weary king, a powerful and resentful prophet and a resourceful young shepherd on a collision course with destiny. “Of Kings and Prophets” stars Ray Winstone as King Saul, Haaz Sleiman as Jonathan, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Michal, Oliver Rix as David, Simone Kessell as Ahinoam, James Floyd as Ish-Boseth, Mohammad Bakri as Samuel and Tomer Kapon as Joab. “Of Kings and Prophets” was written by Adam Cooper & Bill Collage. Executive producers are Adam Cooper, Bill Collage, Jason Reed, Reza Aslan and Mahyad Tousi. “Of Kings and Prophets” is produced by ABC Studios. jennifer I hope Nishi (Gia) moves on to something bigger. Sounds like she is equally comfortable working behind the scenes with her music. We'll miss you Nishi!! Same for Maisie. Attempting to play Rebekah could've gone so wrong if Maisie hadn't had the rapport with the other actors. I hope her new show does well. Thanks for the info wednesday.

Claire Holt talks Originals finale, whether she'll be back next year
The Originals’ Rebekah Mikaelson has always wanted one thing: to live a normal human life, maybe even with a white picket fence. And when Kol trapped her inside a witch’s body during season 2, suddenly, Rebekah’s dream felt like it could become a reality. At least until Klaus decided that he needed his vampire sister back. Last week, Klaus forced Rebekah to kill herself, thereby transferring her back to her original body. Was it mean? Yes. But for fans, it’s mostly exciting, because it means the return of the beloved Claire Holt. In honor of the switch, we talked to Holt about how Rebekah’s changed since she last played her, what will happen in the season 2 finale, and more: ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: So you’ve been away from the show, but Rebekah hasn’t. How do you catch up when this happens?CLAIRE HOLT: We have this amazing coach on the show who really helps me to understand everything. She sat with me when I first got there for about 45 minutes and just went through everything, all the plot points and the storylines and the reasons that my character had been doing certain things. So when I first read the script, I understood about half of it. And then after I spoke to her, I understood the full thing. Speaking of your time away, how has Rebekah’s time as a witch affected her? How might the character have changed since you last played her?I think it definitely changed her. Rebekah’s always wanted family, and she’s always wanted children and a life, and so I think she sort of started to see that there was some of those things that were possible in her witch body. And Klaus had other plans for her. He felt that she was more durable in the original body, in my body. It was a decision that was made for her, and she understood that there were reasons behind it. But I think she’s feeling conflicted as to what she really wants to do and how she wants to lead her life, and [in] which body that would be. When I spoke to Daniel Gillies, he said that he believes Elijah has finally reached a point where he’s unable to forgive Klaus. Is Rebekah in a similar situation? Can she forgive Klaus for what he’s done?Rebekah and Klaus’ relationship is so layered and so complex and deep, and I think she’s sort of in a different boat to Elijah. Elijah has had so much taken from him [by] Klaus of late, and I think that their relationships are different. I wouldn’t say that this was the end for [Klaus and Rebekah]. I think she’s definitely frustrated with the way that [Klaus] behaved, but I think Elijah has more reason to disconnect with Klaus after all of this. Do you ever see Rebekah giving up hope of her mortal life?I don’t think so. I think that’s what’s so nice about this character. She’s real and she’s relatable, and she wants the things that most humans want. She wants love, she wants a family. And so while she commits atrocities at times, [her desire for a mortal life is a] redeeming factor. And I think it’s something that she just doesn’t know how to give up. Marcel and Rebekah 2.0 had a great moment last week, and it’s evident he still has feelings. Do you think she still has feelings for him?I believe so. They have such a history together; it’s really difficult to imagine those feelings dissipating. So I think they have chemistry; they have a connection. It’s undeniable and I’m not sure it’s something that goes away so easily. I can’t blame a girl for wanting Marcel. It’s true. It’s not hard! [Laughs] What is Rebekah’s relationship with Davina like, now that that Davina is regent? Well, the plan in this episode is for the Originals to use Davina’s magic to help take down Dahlia. And while it’s difficult for Rebekah to know that she needs to use this young girl, she also needs to unite with her family for a more pressing issue, which is Dahlia. And so I think it’s difficult for Davina in this episode to understand why they would work against her, and she’s frustrated and she’s angry, but it’s a necessity and it’s the plan that has been laid out to lead to the epic battle at the end of the episode. In the finale promo, Elijah says that the Mikaelsons are past redemption. Do you believe that?I don’t think so. Well, who knows? [Laughs] There’s been many, many, many, many years of horror in their wake. I think Elijah is particularly beaten down by the vampire life, and this existence, and his brother, and his family, and their circumstances, and I think he feels that this is it for them. There’s no way back around. And he’s always been the brother that searches for good and the moral brother, the strong one of us all. So I think for him to break like this, it’s really a big moment. Although I’m not sure that it’s necessarily the truth, there are so many paths that this story can head down. I think it’s definitely difficult for them all to redeem themselves after so many years of all this behavior. When I talked to [executive producer] Michael Narducci after the last episode, he mentioned Klaus wanting to get Rebekah back in her original body because it’s easier to stake. So how worried should we be that Rebekah is going to end up back in a coffin?I think we should always be worried about Rebekah being daggered, because Klaus has proven it’s something he loves to do and he does it with great frequency. That’s definitely a fear. But I think that he needs Rebekah in this body and he needs the family to work together to bring down Dahlia, so that’s more of his concern right now than sticking a dagger in her and putting her in a coffin. This show has had so many epic battles and big episodes. How does this finale compare?I think if there’s one thing that you can always expect from The Originals, all the way back from The Vampire Diaries, [it’s that] the finales are always epic. There’s a huge showdown at the end of this episode, and the outcome will be totally unexpected. We shot it over the course of two very, very long nights. There’s a lot of action; there’s a lot of drama. I think the audience will be on the edge of their seats the entire time, which is what you expect from a show like this. I’m excited for everyone to see it. Regardless of what might happen in the finale, if it’s possible, I assume you’d want to return in season 3?Hell yeah! I’d love to! I’m on another show right now, Aquarius, and it’s about to air. Obviously the fate of the show in the future is uncertain, but I would love to be able to do both if possible. Rebekah is so special to me, and anytime I get to go back and visit that world and New Orleans and my family there, I’m on that plane ready to go. www.ew.com/article/2015/05/08/claire-holt-previews-unexpected-ending-originals-finale
