LOVED that episode. So many great moments, the sort of scenes I was was hoping to see from this final season. Sookie usually annoys the hell out of me, but I was pretty impressed by her in this episode.

Finally the show is picking up the pace. OMG! they killed off Alcide. Did not see that coming.
Love Willa. I hope she won't die.
It was nice to see Bill and Sookie working together for a change, instead of against each other. What about Bill's "I now the Vamp I use to be" line. LOL He's working on a total reset.

If you would have asked me a couple of episodes ago if there would be a resurgence of the bill/sookie/eric triangle I would have said Nope, its dunzo. But that last episode kicked that to the curb for a brief moment. It had been so long that I had all but forgotten about Sookie Eric chemistry, but it was on point last night. I love that he was irritated she was with a supernatural because when he signed the house back over to her he wanted her to get a life away from that, and the fact she basically said not now, Alcide just died, and he went right back to comforting her. lovely scene.
Flashbacks about how Pam and Eric came to Shreveport and the Ginger role in the birth of Fangtasia was hilarious and refreshing to see Ginger's backstory fleshed out. I will miss Pam and Eric, they can go from snarkiness to tenderness in a few lines of dialogue is just great. "Pam, you b***" "Do you still love me?" "Always" perfectly encapsulates their dynamic.
Jason's phone call to Hoyt, Sookie's convo with Jessica, LaFayette's mention of Jesus while helping "Redbone", Arlene's reaction to Sam's shifting, Terry talking to Arlene...They were just hitting it out of the park left and right. Definitely a rewatchable episode.
Also, I was so glad to wrap up the HVamps at Fangtasia storyline, did not want that to extend for the entire season. And every episode now has me holding my breath on who is going to die next. Relieved they let Arlene live.

Also, for such a b***, she can be a real softie sometimes. That's a credit to how great the actress is at conveying those conflicting emotions and how much Eric means to her. I admire loyalty in people, and she's probably the most loyal person on the show. (Of course, that's if she likes you. lol) That woman would stop at nothing where Eric is concerned, and I really admire that about her. Yeah, now that a few of those early stories are taken care of, the season is starting to get good again. I hope it continues. Like you said: good episode!

I was so happy to see Hoyt. I hope he will come back and stay to the end. Hoyt and Jessica deserve a happy ending.

You know the feeling I got with everything Jess is going through this season that it wouldn't shock me at all if she met the true death while saving Hoyt's life. Like you, I was so happy to see Hoyt. Plus I think it is such a nice touch that so many minor characters are making their appearances to in essence say goodbye to the show. Like Nan Flanagan, and the magister ahole (who didn't just love it when he threw the keys to Pam and se just let them hit her, then the floor! LOVE that scene) A flashback with Sophie Anne would be nice!

The chemistry between those actors is so instinctual at this point, it is a joy to watch.

Many of them feigning interest in the regular videos, but eventually sauteing their way down to the basement to the porno section. Haha, that would be hilarious! Not to mention Pam with her snarky comments and Eric's I'm-too-cool-to-even-be-working-here attitude -- it would be a comedy goldmine!

Though I feel like that last episode was the goodbye between Eric and Sookie, this video was a lovely trip down memory (hot chemistry) lane. I've always loved the longing looks Eric gives Sookie. Eric's eye game has always been strong.

But Eric has the "hep V Vamp" sympathy thing to work with. These last 6 eps will be a race to the end ... to see who Sookie bones last. LOL Poor Jessica has lost her man to Layfayette. (I knew that was going to happen) Hey, maybe they'll put Sookie and Jessica together. lol I want Tara back, even though she did switch teams.

Well Eric "has a christian to kill" and a japanese corporation to also seek revenge on, busy dying vamp he is. Maybe the last person Eric bones is Ginger as a way of thanking her for her loyalty (but only if he is virus free of course). All signs to me still point to Bill for Sookie's last fling, you know since he is not an ahole anymore. Looks like Jessica kisses Jason in the next episode, LaLa ...James is all yours. I am getting a vibe that maybe Jess meets the true death saving Hoyt though.

Only 6 episodes left?! It is going by oh so quickly.
Strong points this last episode: Lafayette! Dropping a truth bomb on Jessica. Nelsan Ellis just owns every scene given to him, especially his facial acting. He can drop a glare or smile with his eyes that say so much. His tenderness with James, his friendship with Sookie, how he handles Lettie Mae. LaLa is right, he deserves some happiness. Pam and Eric...of course. Their tender moments when Pam sees that the virus has spread, or the fun they have when on a mission. "i like her" "I really like her" Classic Pam stuff Andy...He has grown so much as character, that he is easily one of my favorites. Glad Jess and Jason had a moment together, they really are great for each other.
Weak points: Can Violet be dead already, nothing about her is interesting in the slightest and at time I forget who she is when she delivers dialogue until another character says her name. and now we have to deal with her potentially killing Jess or Jason, maybe both? Ugh...die already. Bill's flashbacks. Hey I love a good flashback but lately Bill's flashbacks are serving no purpose except to tell us what we already know. Bill was a good and faithful Southern gentleman. Yakuza...kinda weak poorly structured villain they are randomly throwing at us. Though it was nice to see Eric have a badass moment like ripping someone's jaw off but overall I am not interested in them unless we get a cure out of them. The disease to me should be the real "big bad" of the season.

I found the episode a little boring except for the Lafayette scenes. He is fantastic. Loved Jess and Jason finally got together. I truly believe they love each other. Pam and Eric, classic. I don't like that Bill has the virus now. Where would he have gotten it from?

Aww thanks! Yeah, how did Bill get HepV? Did it mutate into some fast acting airborne variety? If so, that ain't good for nobody! Lafayette is always fantastic. Plus I envy LaLa's eye makeup, always on point.

Last night's episode was good. I loved that Jessica and Hoyt got together again. Bill is stupid for not taking the cure.
This Sunday is the last show guys. I hope True Blood will go out with a bang.
It will be sad to see it go.
