Good looking out, Kiki. There has been a resurgence of online rumours again about which of the three did not re-sign for Season Seven. Tho I find it hard to believe that there could be a Season Seven without Nina. I did think it remarkable that so many cast members did spend Easter together, it does make sense if it was a goodbye for one or more of them.

I'm sure we won't get to know until the finale. If this info leaks now it will be a big spoiler for the show. They will try to keep it secret for as long as they can. But the shows that cast the TVD actors will want to promote with them soon so who knows how long they can keep it secret

Well I think that kisses anyone's Stelena rekindling fantasies goodbye. no way to make that feel organic with so few episodes left.

I don't think they were intending to break this story tonight, not in the middle of The Originals, anyway. No comment so far from either Ian Somerhalder or Paul Wesley, for instance.

That is good to hear from Kat Graham. She is the connecting link between Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, it looks like, in that she has good public relationships with both. I feel the fan fallout from Nina leaving in terms of the forward motion of the show COULD be addressed carefully by Ian Somerhalder, when he feels like it can be addressed, because it is likely his fans that are the most strung out about the loss of DE. SE fans who are still watching have already had their hearts ripped out for the past two years and have sort of already made a commitment to the show knowing their SE ship outcome was iffy. The loss of Nina is still pivotal. But I will keep watching.

I for one think an Elena-less show could (key word...could, losing Dries as showrunner would help A LOT) be a welcome jolt this show needed. Its become far too predictable, and Elena had become a reactive supporting character this year in a big way. Like I said elsewhere, I've already mourned Elena Gilbert a few seasons ago.

Season 7, scene one, episode one: Having lost both their house and their eternal love, Damon and Stefan Salvatore wake up in the middle of the desert. Luckily, they each still have their daylight rings.

hopeful? Shoot, I guess that means they won't be killing her off...which is what I am personally leaning towards at this point. Except Caroline Dries using the word hopeful doesn't actually fill me with much hope at all.
