crimmyj Check out the part I highlighted Teen Wolf at Comic Con: Chris isn't the only Argent returning
Teen Wolf took over New York Comic Con with a first look at the trailer for season 5B, which featured a number of highlights for fans of the show: The return of Deucalion, Scott and Theo’s packs teaming up to take on a new big bad, Stilinski fighting for his life in the hospital, Stiles throwing Scott on the ground, and the surprise return of Chris Argent… to name a few. But during the panel – which featured executive producer Jeff Davis, stars Cody Christian, Tyler Posey, Dylan Sprayberry, and surprise guest J.R. Bourne – Davis teased that Chris isn’t “the only Argent coming back.” (Does this mean there’s hope for Allison?!) Furthermore, the panel announced Teen Wolf will move to Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET beginning on Jan. 5. Posey promised that the new time slot won’t impact the show’s violence or sex appeal, but the biggest change will actually be tonal. “We went pretty dark in 5A,” Davis said. “We’re getting our sense of humor back.” As for the Scott-Stiles fight in the trailer, Posey said that the confrontation is the “peak of Stiles and Scott’s conflict.” Speaking of conflict, Scott is yet to forgive Liam for trying to kill him. But there is one person he’s forgiven: Kira. “Scott and Kira are still always very much in love and still together,” Posey said, adding that, of course, “there’s still conflicts between them.” Other panel highlights: - Davis previewed that “Deucalion is back and his eyes aren’t the same.” - Expect a Deucalion-Theo scene. - Davis teased a “really big two-part episode” in which Scott’s pack attempts to rescue Lydia from Eichen House. As he put it, it’s “Die Hard in Eichen House, basically. Getting Lydia out is ultimately up to Stiles.” - There’s no word on when Derek will return, but Davis did say that, “There’s someone else I’ve been trying to get back.” Guesses? - Posey said, “There’s always room for Peter [in Beacon Hills],” but Davis added that there are some “technical difficulties” to figuring out a return for Peter at the moment.- Davis promised Scott as a “badass alpha,” teasing that they want him to “kick more ass this season.” - Posey on what Scott’s final words to Allison would’ve been: “I’m sorry I wasn’t there. I’m sorry I couldn’t get there faster. Thank you and I love you.” - The show is introduing The Beast, a successful chimera. Teen Wolf returns Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. MTV. www.ew.com/article/2015/10/09/teen-wolf-new-york-comic-con-panelJeff has always said the door is wide open for Derek to come back so the only reason I think it may not happen is because of Tyler's availability. They had said he was suppose to recur through part B, but that has obviously changed so I think it has more to do with Tyler. I hope they're able to work something out because I miss Derek! Same goes for Peter. It makes me wonder if Ian may not be available either because they have every opportunity to bring him back right now with him being locked up in Eichen House at the same time as Lydia! He could help rescue her! Earn some brownie points with his daughter and the gang!!! I pray that Deucalion isn't in cahoots with Theo. He was on Scott's side when he left. He had Braeden rescue Derek and Peter so I would hope that he had good intentions! It's about time Scott became a bad a** alpha! I'm tired of seeing him get his butt kicked!!! Jeff must've had some complaints from fans since Scott's suppose to be a true alpha.

Teen Wolf’ winter premiere: 5 spoilers from ‘The Last Chimera’
The “Teen Wolf” Season 5 winter premiere is right around the corner. We had the opportunity to watch the premiere early, so we’re here to give you a few hints at what is to come. “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 11, “The Last Chimera,” is fast approaching its January 5 debut at 9 p.m. ET on MTV, but the show can never quite come fast enough. To hold you over, here are five moments from the winter premiere we’re sure will get you even more excited for the rest of the season. (This is your final chance to bow out if you don’t want to know anything about what’s coming up.) 1. Stiles confronts Scott
We’ve seen it in plenty of previews, but it doesn’t make it any easier to watch Stiles throw Scott against the wall in anger about his father’s current condition. Fans will be happy this devastating scene is out of the way by the end of the premiere, as that hopefully means the two best friends can start to reconcile their relationship. 2. Chris returns
Much like the above spoiler, we’ve seen this moment in the the trailer for the new season, and it’s nice to also be getting this in the first episode back for “Teen Wolf” Season 5B. We don’t yet know what kind of role Chris will have this season, but we do know he’ll be bring Gerard with him. Ugh. 3. A major problem is solved, but there may be repercussions
The main issue of the episode does get a resolution, but that doesn’t mean all is well in Beacon Hills for our heroes (duh). Despite the problem being solved, there’s just no way of knowing if complications will arise further down the line as a result of past events. We can only hope everything will work out for the best in the end. 4. Someone new begins to ask questions about what’s going on in Beacon Hills“Teen Wolf” has always done a great job of slowly revealing the mysteries of Beacon Hills to a variety of characters when the time is right. Not everyone knows the town is a literal beacon for the supernatural, but if things keep going the same way they have been, more and more people will begin to pick up on the stranger aspects of the town. In the premiere, someone new starts to question a strange event and Melissa is the one who needs to tiptoe around the answers. 5. Mason and Liam find themselves in hot waterLiam is still dealing with the fallout of Hayden’s apparent death, though he quickly realizes there may be something else going on there. He and Mason set out for some answers, but then they find themselves in a bit of trouble. Who knows how easy it’ll be to get them out of the situation, but with Parrish’s condition a current hot topic and the Sheriff in the hospital, we have no idea how they’re going to get themselves out of the mess they’re in. “Teen Wolf” Season 5, episode 11, “The Last Chimera,” airs on Tuesday, January 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET. zap2it.com/2015/12/teen-wolf-winter-premiere-5-spoilers-from-the-last-chimera/

Teen Wolf Season 5B: What to Know Before Tuesday's Hellish Premiere
When promos for Teen Wolf claim that Scott’s pack will go “to hell and back” in Season 5B, they’re not kidding. Everything we know about the second half of the season, which returns Tuesday at 9/8c on MTV, indicates that the gang will face its strongest, darkest threat yet — a “clash of titans,” as executive producer Jeff Davis tells TVLine. For starters, 5B will bring a few familiar faces back to Beacon Hills, both friendly and unfriendly. As seen in the Comic-Con trailer, Scott summons Argent to help, but when the enemy becomes too much for him to handle on his own, he turns to the previous generation for assistance. (That’s right, we’re getting a visit from grandpa!) Deucalion will also rear his not-so-ugly head in the coming weeks; Theo turns to the self-proclaimed “Demon Wolf” for answers when a new enemy known as the Beast of Gévaudan — aka “history’s most vicious, most famous werewolf” — comes a-calling, though I think we can all agree that Deucalion wouldn’t help someone unless there was also something in it for him. Romance-wise, there’s not a whole lot of good news to share; Malia and Stiles are (at least temporarily) on the outs, while Liam and Hayden’s relationship will continue to suffer as a result of her being part of Theo’s pack — and, you know, a chimera. I do hope you’re a fan of the show’s occasional weird Lydia/Parrish moments, though, because there are a whole lot more of those in 5B, starting with Tuesday’s premiere. “In a way, they’re unconsciously bonded together by their supernatural powers,” Davis explains, adding that we’ll learn a lot more about Parrish’s hellhound side now that he’s “out in the open.” Now, for a few key episodes to look out for: * 511 (Tuesday’s premiere) reveals the fate of Sheriff Stilinski. * 512 marks the return of Kira. * 514 is a big episode for Malia and the Desert Wolf. tvline.com/2016/01/05/teen-wolf-season-5b-spoilers-premiere-preview/#more-671267

Teen Wolf: Tyler Posey says Scott will rise, but not without a new 'dark wisdom'Scott McCall has faced many enemies. He’s literally died and come back to life. But what lies ahead when Teen Wolf returns for season 5B? Can he salvage his pack (and his friendship with Stiles)? ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Last season, Scott hit rock bottom. I mean, he literally died. So is he emotionally on the mend at this point? TYLER POSEY: Yeah definitely. I think at this point, he has to take a look in the mirror, literally and metaphorically, and accept that he’s hit rock bottom, know that he’s got nothing left to lose and he’s alive, so he might as well come back and make his rise. It’s a relatable thing for everybody. I’ve gone through it, when you’re at a really low point and all you have left is to pick yourself up and move on. That’s Scott’s plan is to take a long look at himself in the mirror and figure out his next plan of action, because he’s still the True Alpha, he’s still Scott McCall, he’s just got to make a rise. In terms of him dying. Will we see any effects from that?Him dying affects him physically and mentally. Physically, I don’t know if I’m allowed to say what, but mentally, accepting that you’re going to die does something to somebody. I think Scott’s mentality was that Beacon Hills is probably a better place if I’m dead. Accepting that does a huge thing to somebody so he kind of carries this weight of that acceptance the entire season and for the rest of his life. He has this more grown-up outlook on life. He’s still the badass, he’s still a really good leader and just wants to save people, but he’s got this dark wisdom. I love it. It’s my favorite thing that I think I’ve ever played with Scott. Is his primary focus getting his pack back together?Absolutely. Last season, his pack all got separated from him. So first and foremost, [he has] to get the pack back together, but you can’t get the pack back together if Stilinski is injured, so we have to get Stilinski healthy and then start regrouping the pack back together. For Scott to rebuild himself, he has to rebuild his pack. Stilinski’s injury more or less forces Scott and Stiles to talk. Does the threat of the Beast and everything else force them to finally forgive each other?I don’t know if they’re forced to forgive each other. I think they’re both rational human beings, so I think they know how much they actually love each other and they come to realize that they both had mis-information. I don’t know if they’re forced to reconcile, I think they just want to out of pure love for one another and friendship. This situation forces them to start mending things again but after that, I think it’s all their own will power. In the past, Scott has been able to go toe-to-toe with most villains. But this Beast sounds pretty big. Is Scott at all going to feel useless against this huge opponent? If anything, Scott’s feeling more useful than ever. The feeling useless all happened last season, so now it’s just his comeback in his life. They don’t know anything about these creatures. They don’t know if Parrish is a good guy or a bad guy so those questions are up in the air, so Scott still has to maintain the protector and he’s still got to be there just in case their information is wrong. I don’t think Scott feels useless at all. I think he has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. So you’re saying size doesn’t matter?Size does not matter. I feel like Teen Wolf seasons need subtitles. What would this one be?Teen Wolf Season 5B: The True Alpha Rises. It’s so good I got the chills! [Laughs] www.ew.com/article/2016/01/05/teen-wolf-tyler-posey-season-5b-premiere

Teen Wolf Season 5B Premiere: Star Tyler Posey Reacts to 'Dark' Twists, Previews New Threats Still to Come
If Teen Wolf‘s midseason finale was the party, Tuesday’s premiere was the next-day cleanup — and man, was there a hell of a mess to sift through.
TVLine spoke with star Tyler Posey about the episode’s dark twists, as well as what’s still to come in Season 5B, but first, a quick recap:
After Parrish discovered Lydia lying unconscious in the woods, he brought her to the hospital, where her poor, unknowing mother had her relocated to Eichen House; Liam roped Mason into helping him search for an M.I.A. Hayden; Stiles managed to save Sheriff Stilinski in the nick of time by tracking down the chimera who poisoned him; and Argent, thanks to a call from Scott, returned to kick some Dread Doctor fanny.
Read on for our full Q&A with Posey, including what he loved — yes, loved — about Scott and Stiles’ little scuffle:
TVLINE | I feel like I say this a lot, but this premiere really found Scott at his lowest point. My favorite part about this season has been getting Scott down to his lowest point. When we met Scott in Season 1, he was this angsty outcast, but he was also vulnerable. He was given this power he didn’t want, so he was bummed out all the time, but he grew into it and eventually become a leader. 5A brought him back to that vulnerable state — everything was ripped away from him — so he’s literally at rock bottom in 5B. He just came to from dying, so there are steps he’s going to need to take to pick himself back up.
TVLINE | So is 5B basically Scott’s journey back to where he used to be? Yeah, that’s a big theme for Scott in 5B, the journey back to where he used to be. Only he’s not going to get back to where he was before all of this happened with Theo and the Dread Doctors, because he died last season. Not only did he die, but he accepted his death. He had decided that Beacon Hills might be a better place without him, and going through all of that really changes you. It gave Scott a different perspective, a darker perspective. He’s got a darker edge to him — I want to call it a “dark wisdom” — where he’s still the True Alpha, but he’s got some darkness around his heart. I think he’s becoming a better Scott McCall, one with a better understanding of how the world works.
TVLINE | Is a darker Scott something you want, both from as an actor and a producer? Absolutely, and it’s not “dark” like he’s evil. He’s just less happy-go-lucky, which is difficult to explain. As a producer, I made the decision to take Scott in this direction without really consulting the writers. [Laughs] That’s kind of what I’ve done the last couple seasons. I hear Jeff Davis’ input, what he wants for Scott, and then I kind of do my own thing. I love this show so much and I have a lot of great ideas for my character.
TVLINE | Let’s talk about Scott’s fight with Stiles. How was that to shoot? I think the only other time we’ve gotten physical like that is during the pilot. … Scott let Stiles attack him this time around because he’s stronger, so he can handle the pain. Shooting it was really fun. I love getting to do things that are totally out of character for us, especially with Dylan. But we hugged each other after every take, so it was great.
TVLINE | I love that Argent came back in the premiere. What’s he going to bring to the pack? We’re all learning as we go, so we don’t really know what we’re doing, but Argent has been through the ringer. This is his life, and he’s been doing it a lot longer than us, so he’s developed so many skill-sets. He also grounds the pack; he’s the adult, the rational being. Plus, he’s got that bad-ass beard, and no one else in our pack can grow one. Dylan Sprayberry’s chest can grow one, though. [Laughs]
TVLINE | There are also some less-friendly faces coming back, like Deucalion and Gerard. Have they changed since we saw them last? Gerard is the same old Gerard, with tricks up his sleeve and everything — but he’s still a charming old guy, nonetheless. Deucalion is a little different. You’re really not sure what his motives are. His storyline mostly involves Theo, so you’ll get to see two villains team up, which is really cool.
TVLINE | So, we’ve got them, we’ve got Theo and the Dread Doctors, plus we’ve got this “Beast” that’s coming. Who’s the real enemy in 5B? The main enemy is definitely the Beast. It’s been cool because we had all of 5A to build the anticipation for this Beast of Gévaudan character. The Dread Doctors had been teasing it, trying to make a success, and they finally did. The Beast is, by far, the scariest antagonist of the season. The Dread Doctors and Theo are still threats, but they’re more in the shadows. Parrish is also kind of a nemesis; you’ll find out his connection to the Beast, and we don’t really know whether he’s good or bad. There’s also that band of chimeras, but Scott really isn’t intimidated by them, and neither is his pack.
