Seeing an interesting theory going around about the last episode: the story Peter told about Derek wasn't about Derek, but was about him. Peter tried to reason that he knew everything cause he was Derek's best friend growing up but...eh. Maybe the innocent death does weigh on him cause it was someone Derek loved and he was responsible for getting Derek to act on it, leading to her death but he did seem overly sad about the whole thing when he revealed his own eyes. Anyways, going back to S2 when he was in Lydia's mind and younger (might rewatch), we find out he was a basketball player for the school (a star player?). In the flashback, 'Derek' was a basketball player or was pretty good at it. Coincidence? Another nagging thing for me, and others, is that Derek showed no specific reaction to Ennis present day. He knew Ennis was the Alpha back then that attempted to turn Paige so don't you think there would be some hate behind any action present day? This is leading people to believe that it couldn't have been Derek and that the story was actually about Peter & Paige and had Peter been in fighting condition or ran into Ennis face to face, there would have been an exchange of words or more. I'm going to do another once over come Monday when they show the repeat. I'm interested in this theory now. Wow thats really interesting…BUT why show us the audience as it being the flashback of Derek. and then what is the story behind Derek's blue eyes? I would also like to know how much older is Peter from Derek. That is a crazy Theory I hadn't seen it. I was trying to see if Peter's Trophy had a date on it but all i got was this

Another thought/theory going around is when Derek was taking away Paige's Pain..in one scene it looks like she is taking it back… what are your thoughts on that

So we find out about the blue eyes: taking of an innocent life. Derek, Peter and Jackson have them and Jackson is now explained. I think his would be a result of the Kanima stint he had. We also find out a bit more about the Advisors/Emissaries. They are Druids, who after Werewolves first came to be, helped them be able to transform back into human and have been 'advising' ever since but in a small role only usually known to Alphas. At this point, this show is kicking TVD while they're on the ground. I'm sorry. The pacing is perfect, great lore/mythos building, great character development all around, decent fight scenes (attempts made beyond simply falling back on hearts being ripped out or necks being snapped) and the relationships are believable. Even the young Derek and Paige was a believable one for the episode we got out of it. TVD is all over the place with all the aforementioned and I think the main problem of that is the triangle is the focal point and not the story/characters/universe like with TW. Also forgot to mention from last episode but it seems they're going with Beacon Hills being on some 'ley lines' as well (the whole current discussion)? Great episode. This episode was great and im looking at each episode like wow its action pack and I agree Slash Teen Wolf is kind of kicking TVDs ass with the mythology and relationships...Im telling you after watching Teen Wolf when I saw Delena vs Stelena stuff I was just like urgh! The Druids story was pretty cool I wanted more of it. Was I the only one who kind of felt bad for Deucallion? He wanted Peace and was actually good. Now Im hoping He is the one who kills Gerard for good. I wonder what else of the story we are missing as to why Daucallion is back in Beacon Hills. It cant just be Scott or can it be? Im glad how BOTH Scott and Stiles caught on to how there were things missing/or being told wrong in the stories. It was completely Peter's fault for Paige dying! Im wondering if Talia Hale died in the fire...if Peter and even Cora was able to escape as well as Derek and his older sister why couldnt Talia escape too? But then Derek's older sister would had never been Alpha right? I would love to hear the story from Derek's side. And Wondering if he did remember Ennis. it was Dark the whole time so who knows. They picked a pretty good youngster to play Derek. Also Scott growing some balls at the end with Gerard I was like Oh Snap! I also want to know why Peter was so determined to persuade Derek into turning Paige. ;/ Like he's the one that implemented the seed of doubt into Derek about her not wanting him when she found out what he was. Hey guys! I'm coming in a little late on here, but this episode was all kinds of a mind twister! Wow Ruby I was wondering the same things you were! Why was Peter so hell bent on Derek having Paige turned? I don't get that. I hope that is explained. I hope we do get to see Stiles ask Derek his point of view of the story. I love their scenes together & that would be a very powerful scene to watch. I'm not going to even go into the whole Alpha/Druid thing because y'all already did & it was making my head hurt! I kinda felt for Deucalion, but right now not so much. Gerard is all kinds of psychotic! Glad to see that neither Scott nor Stiles trusted Peter or Gerard completely. Even though I do like Peter, Derek definitely has reasons for hating him! Killing his sister & pretty much setting Paige's death in motion. After seeing the previews it looks like we find out who the killer is & what Lydia is. After the comment Allison makes about she needs to stop him, is she talking about her dad? Is he the killer?

SPOILER!!
Will Teen Wolf’s Scott become the Alpha before the midseason finale (airing Aug. 19)? –Anonymous_A“
Scott is well on his way to becoming an Alpha,” answers exec producer Jeff Davis. “Whether he remains a True Alpha — one who doesn’t have to kill or steal the power — and who survives to make up his pack, might be the important questions.”

BIG TIME SPOILERS ON DEATH!!! DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT MIGHT HAPPEN!
Despite a lot of death in the first part of "Teen Wolf" Season 3, the horror has not ended yet. Rumors indicate that at least three more major characters will die before the show's summer finale. Who could be the next to go?
Here are some possibilities, listed from most to least likely to die. Since there are supposed to be three more deaths in total, several of these names could end up in trouble.
Kali Other than being a barefoot lady with weird nails, this character has little identity and little purpose. Her death would be easy and less-than-tragic.
Cora It's not like Derek needs to lose more family members. Unfortunately, Adelaide Kane, the actress who plays Cora, is the star of the upcoming series, "Reign." She probably has to go in some manner.
Grandpa Gerard That black goo is probably fatal. No one would cry too much if that turned out to be the case.
Miss Morell Teachers drop like flies at Beacon Hills High School, so the guidance counselor and French teacher wouldn't be a huge loss. She also went and allied herself with evil werewolves, so death might be the result.
Isaac All of Derek's other turns have died, and Isaac has such a tragic air about him. Does this mean he's doomed? It would certainly make an impact on the fans.
Ethan and/or Aidan It wouldn't be fair to the killed-off actor, but the presence of twins does kind of mean that one is expendable, right? It looks right now that the Alpha Twins are here to stay, but that can change quickly on "Teen Wolf."
Derek With everything going wrong for Derek, is death much of a stretch? Granted, it's really, really, really hard to kill Derek.
Dr. Deaton Having just survived a murder attempt, it seems unlikely that Deaton would succumb to death so quickly. But you never know.
Mrs. McCall There has been a lot of foreshadowing of this one. On the other hand, how tragic would the loss of Mrs. McCall be? Could Scott handle it? Who would he live with, considering that his dad remains a mystery three seasons into the show.
Chris Argent The death of Papa Argent poses the same problems as Mrs. McCall. Also, we need him around to explain the mythological stuff Stiles can't find on the Internet.
Sheriff Stilinski See above, re: parents. Also, Stiles can't have something this awful happen to him, right? Right?!?
The Coach Seriously, if "Teen Wolf" killed off the lacrosse/cross country coach, there wouldn't be much point in continuing with the show.
Deucalion It seems like "Teen Wolf" has more use for this evil werewolf. On the other hand, he's an evil werewolf. People like that are supposed to die.
Danny Would "Teen Wolf" be this cruel? We can only hope the answer is no.
Lydia Something weird is still going on with Lydia. It doesn't seem to be leading toward death, but everything is so mysterious with this girl that we can't rule it out.
We will just assume that Scott, Stiles and Allison make it through. Hopefully.
This does not sound good at all! Any guesses on who they might be? I don't like this for our guys!!! The ones I definitely want gone are Kali & Grandpa Gerard. But that's wishful thinking!

Interesting episode. The teacher did turn out to be the Darach. I'm kind of saddened by this cause I liked what she and Derek had going but now I'm confused. She was attacked by Werewolves and shredded but she's got a relationship going with Derek? I figured it was her as soon as Scott's mom mentioned the birds thing that happened years back. Jennifer talked about the sacrifices being to a deity so do we have something bigger coming along?
And we find out what Lydia is finally: a Banshee. Didn't see that coming but even so, it's a nice direction to expand the mythos. Guess we're going to need a few more details about what exactly Banshees do in TW.
Deucalion is also kind of explained a bit more. He's trying to build up his pack as one of my theories was and yes, a True Alpha is part of that plan. However, to become a True Alpha, one cannot kill so I guess that's why he's been taking his time with Scott and working on Derek? Morell said that if Deucalion can't get what he desires (Scott), he'll destroy it (?; or the potential). We also have the Twins explained. Ethan & Aiden had the ability to become 1 prior to becoming Alphas, just that they didn't know how to use/control it. It's also how they gained their status as Alphas (fused, it counts for both of them since they hunted down the rest of their pack after Deucalion showed them how to change). Also interesting to me is that Omegas do exist in TW, however in a different light compared to MT/A&O. In the latter, Omegas are rare and are actually outside of the pack structure that I mentioned before (they don't bend to the dominant/submissive rules) and can actually calm other Wolves. In TW, they're considered 'scapegoats', the lowest rung of the ladder from the way Ethan explained it.
Next episode looks good. Peter is in action and it seems like the Alphas are targeting Jennifer. She seems to be trying to angle for the gang to help her escape the Alphas.

Ok so this episode was really good. I knew Jennifer had to be something I was hoping she was not the Durach but now that she is Im glad we finally know who it is.
She was found ten years before in the woods. It made me think of Paige...but when they showed the photo it didnt look like her. I think that would have been cool a great twist.
We still need to find out why was she killed long ago and why the Alphas want her dead now. She also mentioned something to Stiles dad like "i shouldve killed the philosophers first to be smarter or something like that". Does that mean she gets the powers or the characteristic of each sacrifice she kills? Healers (she healed) warrior (she smashed scott into the chairs) virgin (power of seduction on dereck?)
The Chant Scene and Lydia finding out what she is was intense. when they Piano teacher fell I was like OH SNAP (NOW i have the chant in my head hooo ha hooo ha hooo ha lol)
Aiden and Ethan were explained but we still dont know if they were born werewolves or just turned for the reason twins can form into one big wolf. I wonder what used to happen to them every full moon. did they turn indivually and they couldnt control anything and the reason being was because they were suppose to morph together?
Jennifer or Morell said something about Rare Alphas didnt she? and thats why Deucallion wants them or they are rare alphas? Deucallion is blind but can see when hes a wolf, The twins morph into one big wolf, Scott would be a true alpha and derek is a born werewolf turned alpha. (sorry im rambling, my thought are all over the place)
It took a knife to the chest for Stiles father to finally see things for what it was. How did they find out Jennifer Blake was Jane Doe from ten years back... did they just put two and two together?
Lydia is a banshee but there has to be more to her then just the typical waling woman. and I wonder if Peter knew this and giving her the bite kind of activated this for her because she wasnt always like that. Also Jennifer was just trying to get rid of lydia at first because she was on to the killing/sacrifice situation but then realized she was a banshee. guess it was unleashed once she told Scott she wasnt going to hide from it anymore.
Allison and her dad they were just whatever to me today. we already know in TVD when the gang doesnt stick together things go wrong.
the Darach was trying to kill Werewolves at the hotel but did not succeed.
it said the sacrifices contained: Warriors • healers • guardians • virgins • and what was the other one?
Lastly whats up with Cora...I wonder what messed her up that bad.
Next episode im going to be so pissed because Im going on vacation so I wont be around to watch it. Maybe a rerun in the hotel but i doubt it. ;/ and it looks like a really good episode. i will definitely look at your spoilers for next week i can never resist.

My mind is blown! Ruby, I'm right there with you on the whole chant! I can't get that outta my head now! I just about screamed like Lydia! That's what I get for watching this alone in the dark! I wonder pretty much the same things you did as usual! Great minds wonder alike I suppose! Did Peter know this about Lydia! Poor thing. Kinda interesting to see that Ethan almost wants to switch sides. Aidan not so much. Dbag! I guess it did take Stiles's dad getting stabbed & seeing Scott wolf out to be a believer! And where the heck did Jennifer take his dad? And what's up with Cora? She got all that because Aidan smacked her in the head with the weight! Too many thoughts right now! Next week's episode looks amazing! Peter back in action!!!! I can't wait!!! I swear, each episode gets better and better!

The 5 are Virgins, Warriors, Healers, Philosophers, & Guardians.
And yes, Deucalion seems to be building a pack of unique/rare Alphas. Kali I don't know about, same with Ennis so they must have been/be 'fillers'? Ethan also seemed to hint that Deucalion just has a way with forcing them down the path. When he was able to teach them about combining, they just went on a rampage and killed their old pack. Whatever he's doing would explain how he got Ennis, who showed great care for his pack, to kill them.
As for Cora, I'm sure this is one of those mental blocks that we saw earlier with Scott and Derek after they took wounds from Alphas. She's mentally at battle with herself or blaming herself (for Boyd? She enacted the vendetta for him) and she's not healing because of it.

Okay So Ms Blake has taken care of Virgins, Warriors, Healers and Philospohers. The last one is Guardians...would that be considered the advisors? or the Werewolves? And it definitely does seem she get the power of what she sacrifices...I hope we get more info about the Darach next episode
