deb OMG! They all disgust me on how they treated her! The ONLY one who was on her side & tried to help her the ENTIRE time was Stefan! Yeah Elena did help in the beginning & kept Damon from staking her, but look how she treated her later & especially after she turned. And we wonder why Caroline is so partial to Stefan! DUH! Doesn't take a genius!

wednesday, that's why I hope Caroline won't be ok with DE next season. Actually, I hope she asks Elena over and over again, how could she let someone like Stefan go, how could she be with someone like Damon and, when they find Stefan, I hope she makes them feel bad for the fact that they were so happy  to realize that Stefan was missing... He risked his life for both Elena and Damon and when he needs them, they are just too busy to notice, because they are being happy and all over each other I hope Stefan changes with these two and gets closer to Caroline because, after season 4, she's the real heroine of this show. Bonnie too.

And how Bonnie pushed her when she found out she was a vampire? She didn't did it when was Elena. Seriously!
And Tyler... Yes Klaus is evil but he has done nothing but being kind to her. Ok yes there was the bits but other done that nothing...
How many times did Tyler hurt her?

With Caroline and Bonnie being the main female protagonists next season - thought I'd share some Caroline love  Do you know I think Caroline has been an vital/integral part of the show/tvd universe. While Elena started off as the main protagonist with her own story to tell, started off as a strong female character, started off with layers things petered out a bit with Elena whereas Caroline got better and better I read once that Caroline was unforgettable background filler when the series started but I don't think that's necessarily true. Sure Caroline starts off as the girl who falls into Damon’s clutches, which made her look a little weak and helpless. Constantly compelled and left at the mercy of Damon’s compels; he uses (and abuses) her emotionally and physically. In the beginning of the series she often feels inferior to Elena, like at the Miss Mystic Falls pageant. She confides in Bonnie how she wishes to win, but knows she can’t compete against Elena because she will have the sympathy of the judges due to the death of both of her parents. Despite this, when Elena wants to quit, its Caroline who tells her to suck it up and go through with it because she has to do it for her mum. Caroline (again in the beginning) may seem a little fragile,a smidgen dense, a bit annoying & superficial, but she is also spunky, vibrant, positive, kind-hearted and extremely supportive. Her relationships be it friends/family or boyfriends are never easy because of who she is (Yet she's had more relationships than any other character on the show). She’s starts off at odds with Liz, she envies Elena, she feels left out when Bonnie doesn’t confide in her it seems to always in Elena, she feels ignored when it’s Elena’s embrace that Matt craves when his sister is found dead. Yet, she never gives up, she tries again and again to fix things, to be a better person, to do the right thing. But I thought the fact that she was constantly torn and that she struggled continually to come to terms with herself and the people surrounding her, made her an engaging character. Then when she was turned she kept all her great traits and gained a few more good ones. She came into her own, she's resilient, a force to be reckoned with when push cones to shove and she's alluring (I mean hello! One of the oldest living vampires, an original, fell for Care Bear!) she became a strong female character. To me she's one of the only female leads on TVD who has had sub plots/storylines that don't predominately revolve around Elena or the Salvatore Brothers for that matter. She's had her own storylines, whereas pretty much most of Bonnies (not all, but most and I'm hoping S7 will remedy this for Bonnie) have revolved around Elena, doing something for Elena, saving Elena & so on. And then the writers solely made Elena's existence revolve around Damon and our main protagonists storylines became a bit limited and dare I say it - slightly boring..... Yep I said it (which bloody sucked (no pun intended) because the character of Elena deserved better and could've done some way better story arcs). I'll always love Elena but seriously the writers dropped the ball when it came to her.  Soooooo to me Caroline is the female character that has been making the show interesting of late. Even when she was pining for Stefan she didnt let it consume her, when she turned her humanity off she made it sexy, and interesting and she knew her limits and how far to take the bloodlust even then! Now with Caroline and Bonnie taking the lead in S7 I'm hoping Bonnie gets her time to shine alongside Caroline and we get to see some great scenes between these two gals.        |
