THE ORIGINALS
Following Klaus' emotional declaration to Cami in the finale, Season 3's premiere -- which kicks off with a six-month time jump -- finds the show's token human, now a licensed psychologist, trying to get her practice off the ground. The tricky part, exec producer Michael Narducci explains, is that her only client is Klaus, a "1,000-year-old vampire-werewolf hybrid with a lot of other issues." (Chance of them keeping their relationship professional: slim to none.) Cami will also work closely with Jason Dohring's character, a "strong, smart" police detective who "finds himself in jeopardy early on." Elsewhere in the Big Easy: Jackson, still cursed to remain a wolf outside of a full moon, will come out swinging against Klaus; Elijah will continue "longing for Hayley," taking solace in knowing that she's "married to mortal who will someday die"; and Davina makes a "definitive choice" to stand against the vampires, severing several relationships she's built thus far.
BONUS SPOILER!: The season premiere is titled "For the Next Millennium" because it flashes back 1,000 years to introduce new characters who remain in the Mikaelsons' lives to this day.
RETURN DATE: Thursday, Oct. 8 at 9/8c

Now this premiere was good, versus what was on an hour before. Especially now that we can compare the 2 back to back.

Also flashback Kol!!! Yeah baby! If only Kol could show up and kill Elena that would be great.

Maybe I'm getting vampired out, but I couldn't get into ep. 1. The idea of the remaining three lines vying for power is a good plot, and Lucien is sufficiently creepy. Do any of you think the killing of the wolves might be the show trying to end the werewolf storyline wednesday moshe12 crimmyj? The vampires & witches make more interesting foes. Klaus didn't find what he was looking for in his werewolf family when he killed his Dad and cursed the pack, and now he may have a new group to lead with his bloodline. Haley and Jackson will survive of course, or maybe not Jackson, but they could easily end the werewolves now and leave Klaus/Haley/Hope as the last of the bayou werewolves. Did like the Jason Dohring storyline - finally the law is getting involved and it's not someone in the pocket of the supernatural! Cami has a purpose besides being a completely unethical therapist for the Mikaelson family.

Oh man Lucien is super ueber creep ...full grown psychopath, MAKES NORMAN BATES SEEM LIKE THE EASTER BUNNY LOL I don't believe the wolves will go extinct, elijah will see to that. This season is going to be very interesting. But never will our beloved Originals go extinct, otherwise all will go with them, at least not Klaus. On a sidenote I love Klaus and Cami, really do, he painted her a picture, that was so sweet...well as far as klaus can go sweet Cheers

Cami has a purpose besides being a completely unethical therapist for the Mikaelson family. I was very underwhelmed by the premiere which is a real shame because I was so excited for it. But I was feeling kinda bored. The S2 premiere was more exciting. The only exciting thing for me in this was when Elijah kicked some a** in the woods. Nobody does it better while dressed in a suit and not a hair out of place! Lucien is very creepy. I think he's been watching the Dark Knight one too many times! Kinda reminds me of Klaus with his ranting. Between the two of them going back and forth I could become exhausted. I want to feel sorry for Klaus, but he's brought everything on himself. He can always try to justify his heinous crimes, but I'm sure there's always another way. I still haven't forgiven him for killing Gia. Speaking of Gia, I hate how the writers have just forgotten like it ever happened. They have Elijah going back to him pining over Hayley. Kill me now. The person who's getting on my nerves is Davina! I try to have sympathy for her, but she makes it hard with her prancing around trying to flaunt her power. That other witch certainly knocked her off her high horse! She treated Marcel like crap then comes crawling back to him for advice. He's the one person that's always been there for her so should remember that. I did enjoy the FB! I loved seeing Kol as always. I wish they could bring him back. He would keep the brothers on their toes. I actually enjoyed seeing Finn too since we really didn't get to see much of him on TVD and what little we did see he was a Mama's boy. It was nice to see him actually interacting with his siblings. I also liked Jason's character and look forward to seeing where they take it and how he fits in with Cami. I wonder if Vincent is going to help Davina try to get it together now. Next week Jackson will be back, but I wonder if he'll make it through the end of the episode. The ratings were horrible which really shocked me. 890,000! Not even a million viewers! I don't know what happened. Do y'all think it's because they moved it to Thursdays? I hope they're better this week.
