i have a lot of to discuss but don't know where to start. overall i gave the episode a 5 because I did like it a lot although there were some parts that were left unanswered or left without discussing like Jo and the coven dying, Tyler turning, the spell being permanent even after kai being dead…etc etc but i will get to it soon. the stelena moment killed me. urgh ;/

That was epic, either I like the word epic or the word epic finale, but epic it was...so 5/5 points from me...
i watched with baited breath ...
Am a bit proud, that I predicted Tys second trigger of his werewolf curse
I just saw the episode and it is early in the morning, I need to get 1 hr sleep, more today evening.
On a sidenote: it was so nice to see my sweet Jer's face again on screen.
The dance between Damon and Elena was a bit too much for my taste, kitschy, and it wasn't exactly Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire either.
I feel so sorry for Alaric ... that last sacrifice scene of Liv for Ty tore me up, in fact that was the scene that really got to me tonight, how cool that Ty saved him and bit Kai.
One thing I must say that actor who played Kai really delivered. Loved it when Damon pretended not to care about Bon, went out and gave Kai the chop chop.
ah and the last scene at the very end was so dark and really intrigiung ...what a cliffhanger.

1 for me. If I could vote for less I would. Stelena's 30 second scene sucked and Stefan being a Delena cheerleader is ridiculous. His speech in the hospital to Caroline was stupid. Bye Elena, bye Delena Diaries..won't miss you.

I won't be shipping Steroline next year...the writers made it extra clear she was thrown at Stefan only to keep him out of Elenas way. Waste for Stefan and waste for Caroline.

Let me put it this way, a bit less would have have been more. wouldnt it have been more emotional if they would have just continued doing the same dance they did at the Miss Mystic Falls episode? That would be more emotionally resonant but instead Dancing with the Undead...maybe it was choreographed by by one of the Houghs. |

I think one last passionate kiss and an embrace would have sufficed, the dance wasn't bad, but it was too long for me. I was thinking, be done with it and say adieu. |

I'm really disappointed that all the of the leaks that I read or heard about leading up to it ended up being dead on. They need to clean house over there because that leak was accurate and detailed.
What a shame they brought back Alaric for this to be his story arc. Did Matt Davis lose a bet with someone?

The dance was a tad long but i didnt mind it. It reminded me of the last dance from Stepup (from miami and the mob lol) it seemed so familiar. I guess thats why they also interjected steroline in their scenes to bring it down a tad.
And it was hard to watch the last Stelena scene bc it was like we were also officially saying goodbye to them. I have always loved nina and Paul together. As soon as he walked over with tears in his eyes n grabbed her hand, I was blinking 3x as fast to avoid the tears haha.
But honestly I enjoyed Stefans hospital Speech about needing his brother more. And im ok with accepting steroline for stefan bc when you fall for someone after thinking you had already found your soulmate, its more intimate and special. They are part of the reason you can officially move on and away from that part of you. Youre. Not as blind as u went in the first time and it seems so healthy for stefan. And caroline. So I approve.
