I liked the episode, it was 4/5 points for me. OK First things first...WTH is wrong with Matt, he is bitter and tries to drag Ty down, Ty's decision made perfect sense to me...him leaving Police Academy because he is constantly in danger of killing someone and triggering the curse. Ok I have my closure for Ty, he will look for another place to be and leave MF aka the show. Enzo, dear Enzo, back to being his pestering self again...stalking poor Steffie like the bubonic plague, messenger of Lily and putting his dirty nose in everybody's business...pls go back to Liverpool Enzo. And the first scene of the episode was cool, my heart literally stopped when Alaric was blindfolded and abducted...but it was the BAchelor party, ok it was fun. theirs was way more fun than the party of the three girls, in the end there were only two and one got wounded badly by Lily. So Elena took the cure. I didn't feel anything in those scenes with Damon and about becoming human together . Apparently i don't care either. I really hope that JO and RIC can make it out and live a good life together somewhere else, where the coven cannot find them. Guys...only two more episodes left, then the season 6 is finished. Looking forward to the last two episodes. Cheers

only 1 out of 5 from me because they went against everything they ever preached.
1. Julie ALWAYS said Human Elena loves Stefan Vamplena loves Damon. What happened to this? Not true anymore because Delena fans would crash twitter?
2. Stefan was the best choice she ever made, Damon was the worst choice she ever made. Given that all her memories came back she should have this memory, too. Yet no thought of Stefan. Not a single word about him.
3. Suddenly Joe says "Becoming supernatural doesn't change who you are"... WHAT? Human Elena would have never become such a heartless selfish person EVER!!!! Turning Vampire changed Elena for the VERY WORSE. Everyone can see that.
4. Matt was always the one who thought things through and tried to be the hero. Lately he even tried to stay away from everything supernatural. So why on earth is Matt angry with Tyler not wanting to become a cop? It's true. If he ever gets into a situation where he has to shoot someone he'll be a wolf again. So why does Matt out of all people not understand this??
What I liked this episode was Stefan calling Caroline's mailbox and telling her all his problems. The only person he can talk to and who cares about him. And I liked that Joe is expecting twins. Although I should have guessed with the gemini coven and everything it came as surprise to me and surprises don't happen often on TVD lately. So I liked it. Gives a lot of material for a good storyline but I think they will just drop it like every other storyline...

This episode was ehhh for me. I gave it a 3.
Delena: The whole human thing was whatever to me. I get Nina is leaving but Elena had choosen to stay a vampire even when the choice was give back to her after she offered it to Stefan. I guess maybe she wanted it as a backup but ended up giving it to Katherine. So now she wants it and she easily gets it.
The only thing I didnt like about that was no one really thought about Stefan. Not even damon. Stefan has always been the one who wanted the human life, yet now Damon wants it to be with Elena but didnt bother to think about his brother staying alone forever without them.
I considered it a selfish move on Delenas part although I did like the scene of Elena getting her memories back and realizing she still loves Damon anyway...
BUT NOW Elena is back to her typical self. Trying to control everyones decisions. Damon said he wants to be human let him be human. Now she is like no because you dont want this.
But big step up for damon since I was thinking he was going to just bite her n get it over with but he knows deep down she might be right.
On the pre marriage festivities
Does Jo not have any friends? At all that the party consist of two college students?
Shes having twins...I called that since they announced she was preggo.
Matt needs to just leave mystic falls.
Stefan calling caroline and talking to her voicemail was super cute and also brings us kind of full circle to the beginning of the season with Caroline doing the same to him.
Thats it for now. Will post more later lol maybe

This episode was a 2 out of 5
I did not watch live thank goodness so I was able to fast forward the nauseating parts.
Firstly steroline uggh really she made you turn off your humanity. Elena was cruel but she never did that to stefen.
Apparently jp does everything good offscreen Defan talk about mom Bamon phone call
The delena scenes were horrifying. Now I understand why jp retconned the falling in love when elena was human so she could say oh it has been damon.
I guarantee this was suppose to be stefen and elenas ending but she is blinded by twitter even though they were mad. Uggh.
Matt is annoying right now. They could be having him become the new sheriff? Instead he is becoming Tripp???
Jo having twins was a given and I am sure kai already knows. I felt so bad for Stefan.
Ok the small parts I liked The end was exciting! Kai and the witches who are they? I enjoyed seeing paul act with someone other than Candice.

I gave it a 4 but only because I am trying to be generous to Delena. I'd change it to a 3, if I could, but once you have clicked, that's it.
In truth I have very little invested in Elena and Damon. I can imagine it being meaningful to them, I can see as if from a great distance how much it might have meant to me if it had been Stefan and Elena. I am more interested in Stefan and Lily, frankly, Alaric and Jo, Bonnie, and Stefan and Damon.
What I liked:
I liked that Alaric's party happened all through the Salvatore House. This was the first week I could watch it and forget that the real thing was torn down.
I liked Matt having something real to do. I am sorry for his pain, he has always been the one to get over things, like Bonnie. I would like to see Season Seven just to see Matt and Bonnie have some actual room to be center stage.
It is nice for Elena that all the little pieces of her heart have come back together. But now that we know she is leaving, WHO CARES? (Sorry, that slipped out.)
I liked that Stefan and Damon made a real effort to save Lily. I am also looking forward to seeing more of that next season. I hope that triangle keeps developing.
Why did they get rid of Liv? I liked her. Why can't they match her up with Matt?

I kind of throw up my hands in disgust at this point at the retconning and plotholes...and the fact that some of the would be more interesting conversations are off screen (they have been annoying me with that all season long)... Jo having twins, wow shocker, said no one ever. And I don't even give a crap about the heretics coming, there is no connection to them minus the fact Lily is obsessed with them. but what are their motivations? Do they want a bar to hangout in altogether like the Travellers? I'm not terrified of them or what they could do because all they have done is shown shadows and talked about what they are. One dimensional villains just aren't interesting. But that is this show lately...lacks depth, continuity, and conviction.

I gave this ep. a 3 because while the content was interesting, the sense of genuine connection between the characters wasn't there. Primary example: I felt like Elena taking the cure should've been a big, important moment about her choosing a very different life. Instead she slurped it up behind the Grille like it was a tequila shot. Huge, life-changing moments don't involve close friends anymore! Actually, are the members of the gang even close friends now? Matt's definitely out. Jeremy's gone. Bonnie was never shown reuniting with most of her old high school buds. Caroline antagonized Matt and Tyler to the point that they don't want to see her again. It's a sad day to see this group disband. With two more members leaving, it looks like S7 will be more of the same action, action, with emotional moments overlooked or off-camera. Guess we can look forward to even more interactions by phone!! Stefan's first talk with Lily was a disappointment for a similar reason, that it was a ploy to catch her. Thankfully their moment near the end of the episode appeared genuine. There's promise for a real relationship between them. I liked that Stefan and Jo were a big part of the episode because both care for others and show it, like Stefan wanting to help Lily and leaving the message for Caroline, and Jo, after the terrifying moment with Lily and twin revelation, didn't think about herself but rushed to Bonnnie to save her. I'm glad they explained why Liv won't be Jo's maid-of-honor because it bugged me to see Elena playing the role in the photos. I'm looking forward to Liv returning. Enzo seems drawn to Lily. Wondering if it's b/c she's part of his past, or he's looking at her romantically? OK crimmyj, you're right that Silas draining Katherine of the cure was the reason she aged, not the result of a 500+ yr. old suddenly becoming human. I keep thinking someone will tell Damon "duh, you can't take the cure because you'll start rapidly aging and die" but it should've happened by now. This I blame on S5 not clarifying the point because, why not?

Oh snap!! Looks like those Delena fans aren't so mighty in numbers even for a Delena's episode.

I gave it a 2/5 and I agree with what most of you guys have said about this episode--especially the complete rewriting of the human Elena story line.
I'll say it again - I'm just shaking my head at how inconsistent the quality of this show is. Last week, I loved. This week, totally underwhelmed. It's giving me whiplash. Along those lines, what bugged me about this episode is that everything that I sorta/kinda liked had an undertone that put a bad taste in my mouth.
Cases in point:
I liked Nina playing human Elena with a subtle but discernible difference - but that just made me angry that they've let Nina's enormous talent go to waste, and now she's leaving. Boo.
I liked having some quality Stefan and Lily time which teased how complicated this relationship will be going into next season - but the fact that Lily told Stefan that he's never known devastation was utterly ridiculous. Drowning in a safe for three months, for starters? The list is too long...
I liked that this episode had more interaction between the characters - but so many conversations that had to happen didn't (at least not onscreen). Stefan didn't apologize to Matt for helping to almost killing him; Stefan and Elena didn't talk about the enormity of her having taken the cure. (As an aside, this is by far the most glaring difference from earlier seasons, when the gang's stories were sufficiently interrelated. Isn't this much more like a soap opera now? Ugh.)
I liked that everyone was insisting on the importance of the Defan relationship, calling Damon out for thinking he could leave behind his brother of 166 years. And Stefan was so upset by just the thought of losing him - but then Damon yells out something like "I don't care about Stefan" and that made me SOOOOOO MAD!! WTF Damon!? That man needs a kick in the a#%. He does not deserve his brother. I really hope they redeem him enough next season to deserve that relationship.
Here's the thing - I ship Stefan with happiness. I want that happiness to be rooted in his relationship with Damon, but right now, more than anyone, Caroline brings Stefan happiness. So say what you will, but she's who he needs to be with - especially while surrounded by these people who treat him like garbage.
