Not the same outfit for that scene? Elena has worn that before. I just don't know what scene....oh. I thought it was the outfit from 3x12, when she tells Stefan she kissed Damon. But it is not the same top. I was thinking of a figurative loop, like Elena goes back to the bridge to say goodbye to her life as a vampire. It seems too much for them to show in photos (whatever the event), so that's why I was thinking maybe Nina was filming something else in that outfit and they went to the bridge for her to say goodbye to TVD. Really curious when Elena wore that outfit! Can't remember the black/white tank(s). I agree with your proposal. You are operating on a higher plane. :) While I was looking for the scene tho, I did review the moments after Stefan threatened to drive Elena off the bridge. He really did give her the kiss off in 3x11. Elena: "You had me!" Stefan: "I lost you the moment I left town." (Maybe out of order) Elena: "After all that? That's what you cared about -- killing Klaus?" Stefan (emotionally): " I don't really care what you think." |

My guess she will take the cure but it will have a different outcome than becoming human or it will come with different consequences than the last one.
Maybe it only works in 1994 and while they send elena to 1994 lily breaks the decendant and Elena is stuck... therefore they can leave it open for nina to come back for the series final or anytime she wants
