The CW has released a description for the January 19th episode of The Originals.
WHEN TWO SIDES COLLIDE — With Vincent (guest star Yusuf Gatewood) on the loose and hell bent on revenge, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) brings Cami (Leah Pipes) to the safe house as he and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) return to the compound. Hayley and Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) devise a plan to bring the vampires and werewolves together to consider a truce, but tensions grow when Vincent places a spell on the compound, trapping the two sides together. Meanwhile, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) grows concerned when Rebekah fails to show up at the safe house, prompting Klaus to confront Kaleb (guest star Daniel Sharman) for answers. Lastly, after accepting her mother’s offer to jump into a new body, Rebekah (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers) turns to former Harvest girl Cassie (guest star Natalie Dreyfuss) for help when she finds herself trapped inside an insane asylum. Danielle Campbell and Charles Michael Davis also star.
Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Ashley Lyle & Bart Nickerson

Wow, lots of action last night. I didn't like the scenes with the vampires/wolves locked in the compound, then hit with bloodlust. The suspense didn't work for me as much as finding out how powerful Vincent is becoming by channeling (?) Papa Mickaelson and now Esther. That actor playing Finn is powerful, so much better than the original Finn. Elijah and Cami were interesting together, more than I expected them to be. There was an undercurrent of something between them I couldn't quite catch - not lust or romance. Maybe respect? Elijah....he's so perfect in his interactions. Cami was a good foil for him, and her expression when Elijah stared rubbing his sleeve over and over served as a reminder that Elijah isn't completely himself at the moment. Halyjah - as much as I love the pairing, Jackson is so romantic. I swooned a little at his proposal. ::Love_smiley(1):: Favorite moment: When Klaus pushed Kol back into the compound. He's so sexy when he's furious. Plus Kol deserved it. What he did to Rebekah wasn't a 'prank.'

I really liked this episode. Lots going on. Vincent is all kinds of crazy. Esther isn't dead? Darn. I knew that would send him off the deep end when he saw his mom as the monster she was trying to rid the world of. Hypocrite indeed. As much as I like Sebastian Roche I hope he can keep Mikael on ice for awhile, his rantings of wanting to kill Klaus gets very tiresome. And Esther, I just can't stand her. I didn't think I would like the scenes with Cami and Elijah because I'm not her biggest fan, but they were the most entertaining of the night! Of course Elijah scenes tend to be my favorite. Cami meeting Hope was a really sweet scene. jennifer I agree. Jackson's proposal was very romantic! How could a girl say no to that. I also feel sorry for him. He knows she really loves Elijah. It's kinda sad. If they don't kill him off maybe she could grow to love him? Kol's days are numbered for sure. You don't mess with baby sis. As much as Klaus and Rebekah fight, no one messes with her but Klaus himself. Out of all the recasts for the Originals, Rebekah is the best. I like the actress and think she will do a good job. What a twist at the end! Freya! This is going to be good!
