What do you guys think of these two possibly being together?
I am not sure if I am down for them being together.
From what I saw Marcel choose to be a Vampire rather then the chance to undagger Rebekah to live happily ever after..even so I think Klaus would have killed him if he would've choose rebekah but he didn't.
I definitely did not want him for Rebekah because of that. He let her stayed Daggered for 52 Years.
But now it looks like even after that Marcel and Rebekah were still an item before she went on the run from her Dad.
There is a possibly chance of them being together now but I feel Marcel is using Rebekah against her own brother..

I never saw it that way. I absolutely adore Marcel and Rebekah. I think they look awesome together. I think that their storyline has been great so far. Overall I like Marcel as a character. He's ruthless, but you can see that there is a good side to him as well. I'm hoping that they end up together.

He's ruthless, but you can see that there is a good side to him as well. I'm hoping that they end up together. Welcome btw hope to see you sign up here_) I think it's hard for people to really take Marcel and Rebekah's relationship serious because her character has had too many epic loves. She suppose to be deeply in love with Stefen. Before she left TVD she was falling for Matt. One episode into TO she starts falling for Marcel all over again. The question is who is she really in love with? Is she in love with any of the guys she claimed to have loved, or is she in love with the idea of being in love? I can completely understand why some fans are not sold on them. The reasons I'm sold on them is because of Marcel. The first word we've seen Marcel say to Rebekah was, "I'm going to marry you someday." I think that sat the tone for where this relationship was going. After 100 years Marcel has probably slept with a million women, yet he's never replaced Rebekah. He kept her room exactly the same way it was before she and her family felt NO. He was planning on building them a home of their own. All of these things says a lot about how he really feels about Rebekah. I'm confident that he'll prove to Rebekah that he does love her. One of the things that I really love about how they've been written is that their relationship is complicated. It's not as simple as "I love you and want to be with you." Klaus is standing right in between them. Marcel is torn between duty to the community of vampires that he made, the man who saved his life and taught him everything, and his first and only true love. Rebekah is torn between her family, her history with men, and the man she loves. This makes their story very, very good because anything can happen. One episode they are at each others throats, the next episode they are ripping each others clothes off. In the end I firmly believe that they are the end game. |

What threw me off about them was that When Klaus gave him the option to undagger her and live happily ever after with her or let Klaus turn him, he choose to let her be daggered for 52 years. I know dealing with klaus is super complicated but i feel Rebekah deserves someone to put her first you know. I am not saying I am against them it will just take me some time to warm up to them.  |

I completely respect your opinion. I didn't like the fact that Marcel left Rebekah daggered. However, I don't place the blame not on him, but on the man who daggered her. If you think about it Marcel didn't have much of a choice. If he undaggered her he would have surely died. Only a man with every lasting life can truly be with Rebekah. He was in a lose lose situation no matter who he chose.
