THE FIRST BATTLE OF THE WAR — Rebekah (Claire Holt), facing a difficult decision, turns to Father Kieran (guest star Todd Stashwick) for guidance. Elijah (Daniel Gillies) struggles with the consequences of a recent fallout with Klaus (Joseph Morgan). Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) remains by his side but is soon drawn away by a mysterious figure who sheds some light on her past. Meanwhile, a frustrated Cami (Leah Pipes) struggles to make sense of a cryptic message she’s come across. Finally, when an unsuspecting Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) uncovers some upsetting information involving Klaus, a confrontation ends in a surprising twist.
The episode was directed by Jesse Warn and written by Declan de Barra and Julie Plec.
Tonights Episode was another great one! Klaus Centric all the way haha
Tyler's Cameo Short and Brief to explain what Klaus is about. and then Rebekah interrupts to clarify that she is on their side but there is no harm to come to the baby. oh and she snaps his neck. Marcel takes him to the garden..I wonder if they going to let him rot there.
Klaus is loosing anyone he can rely on but you can't blame anyone with whats been going on...Klaus wants loyalty but like Marcel told him you only get loyalty with trust and love. No Traits Klaus is willing to give. He cannot force nor buy loyalty and that hits Klaus a little harder then usual.
The Plan and Execution So they come up with a "plan" to take down Klaus which I do not understand why they think they can take him down. they think they can beat him to a pulp and then lock him away in the garden. Im sorry but even entombing Klaus could not work for even a day and it took a stroke of luck to get his guard down to make the spell work on him.
the other only way was the white oak stake and that to my knowledge is gone as well. I dont get how they think their plan is going to work but i guess amuse me why dont you...
Their plan is about to take full effect and Klaus Offers a coin to promise whoever sides with him will be saved. No one doesnt side with him...showing what Marcel said about Loyalty true.
They decide to attack. Klaus taking them like nothing but they cant hold of him with chains only to make him angrier and then he unleashes his fury on all of them. Rebekah was getting ready to get her hit on him. Dagger him so he can feel some type of pain but one look at her big brother and she drops the dagger frightened!
Klaus starts knocking people out one by one and rebekah tells Marcel to pick up the coin and side with him because if not he will kill everyone including him. He screams picks up the call and tells Klaus he can have it all.
Klaus takes back his old home quarters while they burn the 20+ bodies Klaus handles ON HIS OWN YES HAHA
Elijah, Hayley, Mysterious Girl
Elijah is having hallucinations of a witch named Celeste. He cared for her and by doing that did not pay enough attention to his brother. Because of this Elijah was not there in time to rescue his lady witch.
He feels the same thing can happen to Hayley and the baby so he will choose to back off a bit.
Hayley gets to talk to the mysterious girl who comes out to be a relative. She has the same birth mark but she burned it off for protection. Turns out Marcel killed most of hayleys family. the rest he had a witch to reverse their curse so they are Wolves except during the full moon WHICH IS KIND OF AWESOME! LOL not the cruelty of Marcel but the reverse werewolf curse.
Original Sibling Guilt Trips at its best! Rebekah walks in while Klaus is playing with the dagger. He grabs her in the quickness telling her off for betraying her own brother. Elijah walks in and he lets them have it with tears falling from his eyes. How he will not excuse his past sins but what has he done to them lately.. hes been trying to get Elijah's forgiveness for daggering him the first time and puts his face the other way while rebekah fools around with a guy that does not deserve her. he tells them his fear of Elijah getting so close to Hayley so that his child will call Elijah Daddy and not him. He's afraid to be left alone..
He ends it by handing over the dagger to Elijah..Which was my favorite part because hes showing them he's done putting them down. (How i took it anyway) Walks out saying they can have the house but he will be residing in his old home. Oh and hes taking Hayley with him because the only thing that matters to him is the baby.
Human Stuff and yea...
Cami has been leaving herself coded messages about Klaus. She doesnt remember about any of Klaus' confidential secrets or what he is while she is not around him. When she is around him shes busy being his editor typing up his memoir or journal of sorts. She tells him how it is, how he only has her there so he can have someone to talk to and hes going in circles about his family...he needs to trust! 2 people in one episode!
The Pastor Kieran dude tells her she should leave new orleans so shes not in the middle of whatever will be going down but shes too stubborn to leave. She figures out her code directing her to Klaus in 1911? a photo of him and marcel in an article.
Next Week is Midseason Finale I believe and Klaus is on the hunt for all the wolves? oh great...come on can you stay on Hayleys good side? but i guess he doesnt want nothing to do with his siblings right now either.

I loved the episode especially when he let them think they had a chance in killing him and then took him down. Josh is an even bigger idiot. When are people going to learn to be loyal to the immortal hybrid. I think that this is bad writing because the most powerful vamp would have people following him just out of fear, curiousity etc.
