There's not a love triangle. I brief moment of stupidity, but not a triangle in the way that you mean. I don't want to ruin anything if you're planning on watching it. But if you liked SE in the beginning then I think you'll really like Vincent & Catherine. They fight like hell to be together. They're my favorite couple obviously!
