The Legends of Tomorrow Assemble in Poster for Arrow/Flash Offshoot
The “time is now” for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to assemble and face a fierce threat, as seen in the new key art for The CW’s Arrow/Flash offshoot series. Premiering Thursday, Jan. 21, Legends finds time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (played by Doctor Who alum Arthur Darvill) rounding up a mash-up of heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat orchestrated by the series’ Big Bad, Vandal Savage (#Flarrow crossover guest star Casper Crump). Among Rip’s ragtag crew are Ray Palmer aka The Atom (Arrow‘s Brandon Routh), Sara Lance/White Canary (Arrow‘s Caity Lotz), Firestorm partners Martin Stein and Jay Jackson (The Flash‘s Victor Garber and Franz Drameh), Captain Cold and Heatwave (The Flash‘s Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell), and Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl and Carter Hall/Hawkman (The Flash‘s Ciarra Renee and Arrow guest star Falk Hentschel). tvline.com/2015/12/04/legends-of-tomorrow-poster-cw/#more-664047

How often will Legends of Tomorrow crossover with Flash and Arrow?
Though DC’s Legends of Tomorrow really kicked off with the annual Arrow and The Flash crossover event, the new CW superhero drama won’t often cross over with the flagship series. “It’s intermittent throughout,” executive producer Greg Berlanti said at the Television Critics Association’s press tour on Sunday. “Because they’re a band of time traveling rogues, it’s harder for Arrow and Flash to be connected story wise to it throughout the season. That being said, if you know the histories of Arrow and Flash, it should be extra fun in its own way as we delve deeper and deeper into the characters lives.” Legends stars Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/White Canary), Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart/Captain Cold), Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory, Heat Wave), Victor Garber (Martin Stein/Firestorm), Franz Drameh (Jay Jackson/Firestorm), Ciara Renée (Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl), and Falk Hentschel (Carter Hall/Hawkman) as a disparate group of heroes and villains who are brought together by Time Master Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) to defeat immortal threat Vandal Savage (Casper Crump). However, don’t rule out crossovers completely. The Flash’s Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Arrow’s Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), and Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable) are all slated to make their way to Legends, while there is a “100 percent chance” that older and/or younger versions of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will appear, executive producer Phil Klemmer recently told EW. “We will have a couple marked crossover moments that hopefully will keep people satisfied,” he said. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will debut Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. www.ew.com/article/2016/01/10/legends-arrow-flash-crossovers
