Writer: Caroline Dries Director: Pascal Verschooris October 8, 2015 “Day One of Twenty-Two Thousand, Give or Take” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)
LIFE WITHOUT ELENA — After a twisted plan left the life of his girlfriend Elena linked to that of his best friend Bonnie (Kat Graham), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is forced to navigate his new reality without the love of his life. A newly empowered Bonnie has decided that she will be Damon’s moral compass and keeps a close eye on him as he, in turn, cautiously keeps tabs on Alaric (Matt Davis), following the loss of his fiancée Jo. Meanwhile, as he waits for Caroline (Candice King) to sort out her emotions, Stefan (Paul Wesley) takes an active role in protecting the town from Lily (guest star Annie Wersching) and her family of Heretics, who have wasted no time wreaking havoc in Mystic Falls. Elsewhere, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) struggles to find his place in Lily’s new life, and is quickly forced to decide where his true loyalties lie. Finally, with the stakes higher than ever, Matt (Zach Roerig), who has recently completed his deputy training program, teams up with Stefan and Caroline to put a stop to the Heretics, but an unexpected turn of events leaves one of them in a dangerous position. Pascal Verschooris directed the episode written by Caroline Dries (#701). Original airdate 10/8/2015.

www.tvguide.com/news/vampire-diaries-season-7-first-look/?rss=breakingnewsThe heretics are settling in on The Vampire Diaries, and it won't be long before they begin their reign of destruction. In our exclusive first look at the Season 7 premiere, Lily Salvatore (Annie Wersching) and her minions are out for blood -- literally. But while the heretics have clearly eaten their way through Mystic Falls, leaving Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) to pick up the pieces, Lily (high heels and all!) appears to be directing from the sidelines. "What I love about Lily is that I don't think we ever see her lift a finger on the show," executive producer Caroline Dries tells us. "She has a way of being manipulating and calculating and she knows how to push her son's buttons. We'll see the brothers start to turn against each other, but they'll catch on and Lily, as much as she loves her sons, has her own agenda. So, she is a villain in that what she wants opposes what our heroes want, but in her mind all she wants is peace and she would love it if everyone would get along." The Vampire Diaries Video: Stefan still gives Caroline butterflies! Damon (Ian Somerhalder), meanwhile, appears to want nothing to do with the heretics, or anyone for that matter. While he looks to be a bit of a mess in our photo, Somerhalder tells us, "Damon doesn't get depressed -- he gets even or he gets drunk." The Vampire Diaries premieres on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 8/7c on The CW.

How does that work, Ruby..... I read there was going to be a 4 yr jump..... is that not happening now? Or did it take 4 yrs for the viches to get their stuff together? I still think it would have made a better story line for Kai to link Damon's death to Elena's resurrection.... They could have spent the season trying to find a way to break the spell...... Poor Bonnie.... still the "doormat" I guess Bamon fans are up the creek with no paddle....

Also from what I heard was that there will be a time jump but they will be going back and fourth in the timejumo showing alot of flashbacks that happened after Kai's destruction.

I agree they're throwing mythology out the window......Kai's spell is a perfect example..... So are the "vitches".... how many times have we been told you can't be a witch and a vamp.... It won't surprise me if @dman24 is right and they do make Caroline prego.. Why the heck not...anything goes... They could save both series (at least for this season) if they would follow "Flash" and "arrow" and get busy with the flashbacks..... Send Klaus to MF and have him steal Elena's coffin. lol Paybacks for Stefan..... so the 22,190 days is 60 yrs 9 mos and 22 days.... guess they're giving Bonnie a little extra time.

I'm surprised that people even live in Mystic Falls. How many of these apocalypse-type scenarios and "random" deaths are they going to have before they get the message? I know we're suppose to suspend reality, but come on! I can't believe Dean and Sam haven't heard of this. It's really comical if you ask me.

As far as I understand, a witches spell doesn't always have an expiration date when the witch dies in TVD, they have been fairly consistent with that. Think of the tomb spell, daylight rings, Ric and Jers protection rings, and enchanted devices like the vampire compass for instance. I think it all depends on what the witch used to bind the spell in the first place. The heretics mythology, I can go along with, because they are not actually true witches, they are siphoners ie: they have never had their own magic, but a vamp pregnancy? not buying that one, sorry.

"https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0ocLzxiCXhs" "https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=W_Sjhg_gorU" 1. Where/When Are We?!? - The premiere opens with a major time jump... and also a major location jump. Prepare to be very confused. (But that's the idea.)
2. A Groom in Mourning - Alaric will react to the murder of Jo in very surprising fashion. And, no, we don't mean simply by getting drunk with Damon.
3. The Finale, Revisited - We revisit the Season 6 finale scene in which Matt is driving around Mystic Falls and Damon is standing on the clocktower. We learn exactly what led up to these events.
4. Choosing a Side - When it comes to his loyalties, Enzo will choose a side between the Heretics and his friends in Mystic Falls.
5. All the Feelings! - Two people will kiss. Two people will hold hands in public for the first time. One character will be elevate to "best friend" status by another. Prepare for all the feels, fans.
6. Suspense in the Square - Another violent incident will go down in the Town Square. Perhaps they should just close that place down.
7. Dear Diary... - Elena may be (sort of) dead, but that doesn't mean the show's tradition of chroncling events in diary form will die along with her. There's plenty of pen being put to paper on the premiere.
8. Lily is Awesome - Not much of a spoiler here, as Mrs. Salvatore's introduction was one of the best aspects of Season 6. But she's right at the center of nearly all major events on the premiere and she's a perfect mixture of sensitive, dangerous, ruthless and fair.
9. WTH is Going On?!? - Remember how we said the opening will leave you intrigued and confused? The concluding few moments will leave you REALLY intrigued and confused... in the best ways possible.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES SEASON 7 POSTER

Post by deb on Sept 30, 2015 7:18:18 GMT -5
The season premiere left us eager for more on several fronts. We can’t share any major secrets, but here are seven teasers and bonus dialogue from “Day One of Twenty-Two Thousand, Give or Take”:
1. Caroline and Bonnie both keep their promise to Elena and write in diaries throughout the hour. Expect at least three other characters to have voiceover moments as well.
2. While Caroline wants to move forward with her life, she’s still dealing with her mom’s death. She’s not the only one thinking about Liz.
3. Damon kidnapped Ric to try and help ease his pain and Bonnie tagged along to make sure Damon stays off the ledge. One of these people has a hidden agenda.
4. Lily just wants her family to be happy and she’s doing her best to teach them how to behave in this world. However, that is not Lily’s only mission.
5. Stefan and Damon do not see eye to eye on how to deal with the Heretics. But which one turns out to be right?
6. Enzo tries to walk the center line when it comes to the two sides, but no one is okay with that. In the end, where will his loyalty lie?
7. What should be a happy day for Matt goes terribly wrong. Who does he blame for the disaster?
Take a guess, who said it?
“If you’re worried, I’m terrified.”
“You sound just like her.”
“It keeps getting funnier.”
“Nice try. I’m not leaving you.”tvsourcemagazine.com/2015/09/the-vampire-diaries-season-7-preview-7-teasers-from-day-1-of-22000-give-or-take/With the Season 7 premiere of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES just around the corner, it seemed like a fun time to share a few teasers about what fans can expect when the show returns for its exciting new season. So here are a few the quotes we have collected from “Day One of Twenty-Two Thousand, Give Or Take.” Let’s see if you can guess who says these great quotes: QUOTE: “I just thought I would put it in safe-keeping.” QUOTE: “I can’t feel my cheeks.” QUOTE: “This whole stalker thing is not even remotely charming.” QUOTE: “You don’t get to play the What-Would-Elena-Do game.” QUOTE: “If you’re worried, then I’m terrified.” QUOTE: “Do you really believe that or is that just some excuse to your slow crawl towards rock-bottom?” QUOTE: “I’m just saying that if you think this is a crazy plan, now is the time to speak up.” QUOTE: “You can resent me or love me, but you’re stuck with me.” QUOTE: “I’m a bad influence, got it.” QUOTE: “Let’s just say: it’s a good thing Damon is not here.” QUOTE: “Things are getting just a little bit glum around here.” QUOTE: “What is done is done, do not mess this up.” QUOTE: “I had nowhere else to go.” QUOTE: “My mother is a lunatic and everyone is too scared to stop her.” QUOTE: “Are we making a huge mistake?” QUOTE: “My misery is merely a convenient distraction for you.” QUOTE: “I keep thinking if I can heal, I can move on with my life.” QUOTE: “I thought my future was bleak.” QUOTE: “I’m never going to stop missing her.” QUOTE: “I’m going to go board up the front door.”www.seat42f.com/the-vampire-diaries-teasers-day-one-of-twenty-two-thousand-give-or-take.html"https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=YgIJvHgHSHY"
