Malach were those worms who entered someone's body and made him evil, right? Damon had one and Elena pulled it out of his spine. If I remember that right.
So 2 theories about that:
1. Stefan and Lily have one which makes them go ripper 2. Elena has one which destroyed her former caring and loving self and turned her into this Damon addicted girl we see now

Say it isn't so.... And Elena has a "B*tch Worm".... now that I can believe... This theory shows promise.... You know me, I'm wondering if the worms would be good bait.....

Non sequitor from my current re-watch of Season Five: 1) Katherine reiterated that her rapid aging kicked in after Silas drained her of the Cure; 2) Thomas Fell was the second person Stefan killed, or the next after his father. There was something else about the Cure and vampire blood: Katherine could not take vampire blood after she was drained of the Cure, but she says it in a way so that it is not clear whether she could take it before, or if she just didn't know whether she could have taken it before.

There was something else about the Cure, but I have forgotten what it was. so Thomas Fell.... interesting. But I doubt the writers thought about what would be written in season 6 back then. I even doubt it's still the same writers... But still... let's asume they do remember what they wrote for once... Thomas Fell, Trip Fell (or what was his name?) now Lily Fell... Founder's family Fell... Honoria Fell (was it Fell? The name Nina "fell" over in the season 1 bloopers) Time to learn more about the Fell family and their history with the Salvatores. Didn't we even see Stefan killing Thomas Fell in a flashback. Right after they turned and Stefan went ripper... he killed some of the founding family members who were hunting him? Were they Fells? And then he took residence in one of their houses and compelled some girls who he ripped. Damon left him and Lexi took care of him and showed him how to be a good vampire....

I think you are right about that, I will go back to Season Two to review that sequence. In Season Five, Katherine gets Stefan to list his kills as a way to get him out of a PTSD episode. He lists Honoria Fell as his third kill. I'll have to go back to Season Three to look at the wall to see if we all remember the same list.

OMG. Just finished re-watching Episode 4x10, the Breakfast Club episode, where Rebekah compels Elena to tell Stefan that she is no longer in love with him.
At the end of the episode, Stefan says that he would go insane if he doesn't know how Elena really feels about his brother. By now we all appreciate that Elena loves Damon.
However...if Stefan's switch is still flipped, for more than one reason, I could see him suddenly jam the Cure down Elena's throat.
Why?
1) His switch is flipped. It's Opposite Day.
2) He who failed to save her undoes Elena's vampirism and returns her to her humanity. Normal Stefan would never take her choice away like this -- but the switch is flipped.
3) Ripper Stefan gets his revenge on Damon for stealing Elena. Again, normal Stefan appreciates all the changes in Damon that loving Elena has brought about. But it's Opposite Stefan.
4) It is what some might see as a bad-news parallel to Stefan doing in Katherine with the Traveller's Knife to recover body-snatched Elena.
5) It foils all our hopes and dreams for a reunited Elena and Stefan. Because he does something that is so contrary to what the Stefan Elena once loved would do.
Someone please talk me back from the ledge here. If Stefan did do such a thing, would Elena ever forgive him?
Now that I think about it -- Bad boy Stefan could ram the Cure down Damon's throat and it would pretty much cause the same degree of chaos.
Hm. Or Bad girl Caroline could do the same to Damon....

Well, it could go the other way, too. Damon forces the Cure on Stefan to bring him back from Rippahdom.

From the sypnosis I get the feeling that Damon will hide it and Bonnie will get angry. I don't even understand why Bonnie gave it to Damon and not to Elena. Why let Damon decide on Elena's future? Bonnie said "it's your choice" maybe she ment his choice of giving it to Elena or to Stefan?

Actually, I retract that whole thing. I can't really see Stefan doing that to Elena, even if he is rippered out. I still think she is his trigger, as is Damon, and now maybe Caroline, too.

So I cant go into my thoughts on the news here but just now on tumbler I saw a theory that I think maybe very plausible based on interviews and such.
ELENA will take cure probably sweetly going for her dream and then someone or somehow she gets killed. In one of the books she dies and becomes and angel or something. Julies quote was we are excited for her to spread her wings.
They are mum on if she will guest star or not but I am thinking they will find a way continue falsely keeping hope alive until the end of seven. But now plec is saying we will be saying goodbye to characters over the next few years so hmm. I will post my thoughts on news maybe later today in tvd writers rant thread.

So with the "Nina News" the theories of how they're going to write her off logically follow, right? Two choices as I see it ....dead or compelled....and Bonnie didn't give the cure to Damon as a prop...so all my thoughts include the cure. She can't be compelled as a vamp (except an original).... so the cure comes into play on that scenario, too. 1. she takes to cure to follow her dreams of human and family (but that means giving up Damon, unless he has the 1903 cure and their dropping together.... (this scenario, I see Lily killing her or her dying by accident) and this produces the most angst. 2. the cure is forced on her (by Lily) and Damon compels her to leave MF and follow her dream, because he knows they don't work as human/vamp and has said it many times. Damon could also come to the conclusion there are some latent SB effects on their relationship and give her the cure to set her free.... It is strange that she remember nothing nice or loving about Damon but is head over heels for her brother's killer. of course there are a lot of other possibilities.....Lily threatens her life or to give her the cure to get her ripper buddies out of jail and Elena looses her life anyway.....Caroline get the cure and forces it on Elena..... Bonnie could even be involved because she pissed at Damon for betraying her.......... like I said a bunch I always go with the most possible angst and grief when I deal with JP&Co. So my guess ATM is Damon and Elena will get the 1903 cure and both drop the cure to be together human and stuff goes wrong.... leaving Elena dead and Damon human.... Granted, Elena dead....takes away the carrot of teasing Elena's return next season from the show runners, but without some kind of permanence to Elena's exit it will be hard to write a compelling story...
