One thing TVD has taught me, is I can decide when the series ended for me.... Hey, that's big.... I use to just swallow everything they sent my way, until I realized some series are fluid and not built on a story from beginning to end, the way a book would read..... TVD has been one of those alternate ending book.... If A does B got to C.... If A does D go to F..... You guys know what I talking about...... the problem with the writers (I wont rag so hard I need to be sent to my room) is they lost their way and capitulated to the fandom left watching to write the ending, because the fandom they shafted was no longer talking or watching. That forced them to reconstruct the whole series in a season. Honestly this is not a Rant, but I'm done before I get the Still a pretty poor way to present a series, and the viewer numbers back me up. This was the rant that was not......just fact. Don't send me packin' mods. lol I'll take my twenty lashes. I've been staying out of the bubble, because most things that cross my mind aren't fit to type.... I'm sure most of you know what I mean.

Shoe you pretty much have ranted about something quite a few of us agree on (from what I've read on here). As I've posted/ranted before, I hate the way the writers introduced and stuffed Delena down our throats wiping out anything Stelena. I would never ship Delena but it could've been an interesting relationship to watch on screen if the writers had of been a bit more realistic and sensitive to us poor ole Stelena fans and the Stelena storyline. I mean if it wasn't for those first 3 seasons (where the writing was actually good) I wouldn't have continued watching. I still only watch because I'm hoping they redeem themselves with Stefan and give him a good season. Actually I hope season 7 is a bit more action orientated now Elena is in a box because now Damon won't spend all his time making pained expressions while telling Elena "I'm no good for you, let's go boink!"

girl, Evers17 I'm gona give ya a break because your new..... Everyone here know not to pour Kerosene on one of my inflammatory posts. lol.... the bubble is not the place to vent our frustration, unless Ruby is sleeping..... I know that's not what your doing, but it is what I was. The sisters of doom (sod) have abandoned the SL in S4 and now they're just writing week to week. I've never had a problem with them exploring DE, because I knew it was coming from the first episode I watched. What they wrote was a codependent, toxic load of the South end of a Northbound mule. How could anyone think that was what we all should be looking for? When they finally worte DE,,,,,, it SUCKED..... I'm sure I can get a lot of DE'ers to sign-on to my last statement. I honestly don't know where to take this discussion, but I'm sure if it's not appropriate we'll get some guidance. I have no problem with Damon makng nightly visits to the moselem because he never needed a girl with agency. I can already tell you and I are trouble, girl.... ) I'm just going to bend over right now and take my medicine.

Hahaha shoe20 ok well maybe quit while we are ahead.... well I am new and I thought your rant wasn't tooooooo ranty BUT it was all pertaining to Stelena to a degree. Ummm yeah and again agree with you regarding Delena, I think we all knew it was going to happen eventually but that was exactly my point also, They had soooo much time to make it a relationship worthy of Elena choosing Damon. Ummmm ok I'll stop here because I can go on and on and if there is somewhere this discussion could be had without me getting in trouble (not that I'm adverse to getting into a little trouble....) then I'm all for continuing elsewhere on the forum

Knowing my tendency to get a little carried away sometime, we probably need to go to the rants. ..... I'm kinda busy today, but I'll check it tomorrow and we'll talk some more.... tvdshow.proboards.com/thread/29/delena-rants?page=83

“… the past two years, Paul and I have been working so closely almost every day, towards the beginning of the Season 3 we had absolutely no scenes together. So that was one of the first scenes where we’re actually working together again. …when we locked eyes it really felt like we were locking eyes for the first time. But nothing was said everything was in the looks, the tension was built up so much, it was palpable, you can feel the love, fear, anxiety, the memories and history between the two” [x] - Nina Dobrev: Elena & Stefan “Trapped in the Closet” (3x03) . Hey deb, where is this from? I don't remember it being on the DVD... Her interview monologue wasn't from the episode of 303, but about it.

The thing is, they don't, because they aren't necessarily the same writers. It's all new to them LOL.

They are thinking longevity so they think season to season. They are annoyed we are still out here fighting for them.
