Another decent episode tonight. Still wondering when they going to give our friend new clothes. They stopped the 2nd horseman from possibly uniting with the horseman of death and they discovered a secret colony that was being protected by the spirit of virginia? they also stopped a deadly plague from happening in sleepy hollow by returning tomas to his colony and rinsing him in their spring water to then see that the colony dissapeared. Morales is starting to get a bit nosey and wants to know whats going on. his partner or other officer told him to let it be but i doubt thats far from his mind on doing. ichabod's wife katrina is stuck in purgatory and it looks like our next episode wont be until 3 weeks later. one of my highlights of tonights episode and of course this

So one of the Horsemen (Conquest) has been present already but his plans got sidetracked when the Roanoke colony was 'saved' by the spirit of Virginia, who fell victim to Conquest/Pestilence's plague. That's an interesting turn of events and another inclusion of history (was kind of surprised Abby didn't know about Roanoke). So Conquest for the time being is once again shelved after another attempt at trying to get going by chasing Thomas into the population. Morales is going to be a problem it seems since he's digging. Obviously has to do with Abby hanging out so much with Ichabod and Morales not being all too sure about Ichabod's story (Oxford professor acting as a consultant on beheadings when he himself was a suspect). Either way, seems Ichabod is in the clear for the time being as someone from Oxford got back to Morales confirming (?) that Ichabod was indeed on loan. 3 WEEKS!? 3 ****ing WEEKS!? WHY!? UGH! 3 week wait Atleast when the show comes back, Almost Human is coming along with it and makes for a nice 2 hour Monday block for me which I haven't had in some time.

SPOILER:
Question: I’m really loving Sleepy Hollow. And I love Ichabod and Abbie. Any scoop? —Sanna
Ausiello: You already know that Golem will terrorize the pair this season, but what you may not know is when. I’m hearing the towering foe will turn up in Episode 9 and, according to the casting notice for the role, interested actors must be over 6-feet tall, possess creature/suit/prosthetic experience, be comfortable with stunt work and be composed entirely of inanimate matter. Fox’s rookie hit is also on the lookout for actresses to play Irving’s (Orlando Jones) thirtysomething ex-wife, Cynthia, and teen daughter, Mae.

Late impressions but impressions none the less.
So we get to see what lead Ichabod to change sides and finally see that demons were conducting a secret war. Not only that, but we find out that the thing holding him and the Horseman together was the guilt he had for thinking he didn't save the one guy's (name escapes me) life. He had him tortured and he figured if he had set him free sooner, he'd still be alive but when Ichabod gets to meet/talk to him again, the guy assures him that his death was what set Ichabod free and had it not happened, things would have been different. I loved this conversation. So Ichabod is now free of his tie to the Horseman, despite saying having it would be a benefit to them (kill Ichabod, kill the Horseman) but they see it differently as the bond is holding Ichabod back.
We also see Abby beating herself up over Ichabod missing and she explains this to her sister (she lost her and was lost until Corbin who she also lost and Ichabod shows up about that time who fills the spot/role once again but clicks in a manner all his own). I loved their parting scene after the baseball game. The 2 just oddly fit/play well off one another. Something 'cute' about the way they act with one another or treat the other.
We are also introduced to a 'Sin Eater', who now seems to have taken on the bonding with the Horseman in Ichabod's place (Fringe's Walter Bishop). I also think one of the other takeaways from this episode is that Ichabod & Co. now have allies: the Free Masons. Apparently Katrina hid Ichabod from them, despite being on the same side, cause she knew they'd likely kill him due to his tie to the Horseman but Katrina saw fit to keep him alive for the future (present). I'm just glad Ichabod and Abby will have some help/resources from a source that knows about this stuff.

I actually finished watching this episode a little while ago.
I loved the baseball scene together and I'm still wondering why they haven't given krane a change of clothes.
Did the sinneater take on the bond? I thought the same when he ate the napkin dipped in blood but nothing happened to him and if so doesn't that mean they can kill him and kill the horseman in the mix?
I liked the flashback scene of how krane met his wife and what she saw in him automatically.
The free Masons are on Krane and Abbys side
And.I enjoy watching abby and krane together. They make a good team

Sin Eater made a comment about feeling the Horseman awakening/coming which I just assumed he either took on the bond or a connection with him when he ingested the blood.

Love how bothered/awkward stuff is to Ichabod in present day. The attitude he got over paying for water and hearing why drinking from the tap/lake was bad cause people have ruined them over time. Also liked him blowing up at the museum about the Paul Revere (sp?) story that has become accepted to people when all the details are wrong (such as the British are coming not being the actual quote). Not to mention being filled in about Samuel Adams (think it was him) by Abbie and her boss about the whole slavery thing while they set up traps.
Sad to see that just as soon as he gets some back up in the Free Masons, they're offed just as quickly. Equally creepy/awkward is Abbie blowing out the 'head lanterns' like it wasn't anything creepy 0_0 So the one guy under the Horseman wants to protect Abbie (his name escapes me) and has also warned her ex to stay away, which oddly enough, made him start kind of freaking out ?? Oh, and now her boss is a believer after being attacked by the Horseman (glad he made it out and was smart enough to protect the head in the process).
Can't wait for next week's episode. Not only is Almost Human coming with it (now I got a nice 2 hour Monday block as I pretty much channel surf to kill the hour before SH), but we're getting some Death backstory since the gang has captured him.
