So I saw both episodes of sleepy hollow. It's pretty intense for my liking. Im not too fond of demonic type stories but it's because they frighten Me haha but I'm already caught in it lol
I like the idea of good and bad witches. And how they are giving us a little bit of information as the show goes on.
Katrina was obviously one of the good ones which I suspected from the beginning. I like that there's a chance she can be brought back to life.
I have a feeling that abby and her sister might be descendants from the good coven. That's just my theory though

This show. Seems to be able to carry a nice balance of humor and creepiness.
Katrina was the one who sealed the other Witch's power but I'm interested in knowing a bit more about the later Witch Hunts since Katrina and others got past the first ones. Katrina seemed vital in helping get the other Witch captured so were Witches from the good coven helping to hunt down the bad coven or was it just open season with humans hunting Witches and both covens were doing what was possible in getting rival coven Witches caught? I'm interested in this angle. Also, I doubt that other Witch is dead after the explosion. Just seems a bit too easy to have her come back and be offed just that easily. She was needed to be brought back for a reason so I think she's still around.
Also like the fact that Katrina could come to the present as well since she's trapped in a 'world between worlds' and we don't know where her body is and as we can see, it is possible to bring a Witch back (although that particular Witch cursed a family to complete the transition back). Katrina, who is trapped in the other world, may be so in her original body (with no aging on that side).
I like that we got a little more on Abby and the Sheriff. He was a father figure to her and got her on track. Glad to see that to some extent, he's not exactly gone and can still offer her some guidance. Nice to see her sister this early as well. Wonder what her part to play in this is.
So we got a peek at the other Horsemen. They all look to be from different eras. One of the ones next to Death looked like he had some Samurai armor on. Might have to track down a screen cap to get a look at all of them.
Next week's preview has me interested in just what they're going to pull out with this show. 'Sandman'? Love it. If both sides/covens are going full stop in trying to prevent/make the Apocalypse happen, I wonder what other 'creatures' will show up and playing on what sides.

The fact that they didnt show the witches ashes or bones after the explosion did cross my mind that thats not the last we have seen of her. Also good point Slash at brnging up the Horseman. I didnt notice they all seemed from different eras. I will have to look at it again or see a photo of it to get the full concept. I am definitely interested in the sisters and whats their part in this whole thing. not everyone can see these white trees that they saw and it looks like that demon thing find the sister threatening if he showed up to her again. btw the cop that broke his neck that was so gruesome. the neck snap all the way back to his spine urgh lol

Have this to go off of instead of a screencap: So yeah, one looks Japanese-Samurai to me based off of what the helmet looks like and looks to be carrying a Naginata. The other at the end next to Death looks to be heavily 'Dark' European Medieval, almost like armor from Sauron's side in LOTR. The last one furthest from Death is harder to place outside of a cloak and what looks like a staff. Conquest, War, Death and Famine, correct? I'd say Famine is the one with the staff, but the other 2 are toss ups.

Definitely has the creepiness factor going on! Ichabod was hysterical freaking out over the price of coffee! I like where the story is going. I'm really happy we haven't seen the last of the Sheriff & hope he continues to stick around to help Abby. I don't think the other witch is gone either. That was too easy. Loved the intro! Very creative!

Show does a good job of building the relationship/trust between Ichabod and Abby. Liked that he went in with Abby into the Dream World and put himself on the line to buy Abby the time to get it together.
Loved the way they crafted the Sandman in this. Nice design and nice little backstory for why he was after Abby. So because Abby, the farmer and the doctor didn't acknowledge that they saw the demon too (or believed it in the case of the doctor), they were targeted by the Sandman. Taunting/torturing them till they eventually took their own lives. Really did suck for Abby's sister to plead the way she did for someone to believe her and Abby just keeping quiet =\
Also enjoyed the introduction of the Native Americans and Ichabod's shock at what happened to them after his time. He considered them friends and hated to hear what happened to them after they helped fight for our independence.
Next week looks good. Looks like we get to see a cult/loyalists of sorts.

Ruby That does seem quite odd doesn't it. They could get him a few outfits like that one cause I can't really see him sporting today's attire can you? And is he going to just stay at the motel indefinitely? Who's footing the bill?

Sleepy Hollow Already Renewed For Season 2
The show has been renewed for a second season of "at least" 13 episodes. This part is good.
The bad news is that this means Season 1 will indeed be only 13 episodes, with FOX opting to go the cable style of good, shorter seasons.
Here's the press release with more details from FOX:
FOX AWAKENS SEASON TWO OF HIT DRAMA SERIES "SLEEPY HOLLOW"
Premiere Episode Surpasses 22 Million Viewers Across Platforms Next All-New Episode Airs Monday, October 7, on FOX
FOX will delve into a second season of the hit action/adventure series SLEEPY HOLLOW, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.
"The show has proven to be a risk well worth taking - it's a conceptual blast unlike anything else on television and it all holds together with inventive writing and a fantastic cast," said Reilly. "I can't wait for fans to experience what else is in store for this fall and even more of this wild ride into Season Two."
The series premiere of SLEEPY HOLLOW earned a 5.0/13 rating among Adults 18-49 and drew 13.6 million viewers after three additional days of time-shifted viewing, making it FOX's most successful fall drama premiere since the debut of "24" in November 2001. In fact, with its encore, post-three-day playback on DVR and VOD, and its streaming on www.Fox.com and www.Hulu.com, the series premiere of SLEEPY HOLLOW has already drawn an audience of more than 22 million. In Week Three, SLEEPY HOLLOW showed increasing retention, delivering a 3.0/8 rating and holding 97% of the prior week's Adults 18-49 delivery.

Beginning of the episode was funny with Ichabod telling his story to the OnStar lady. Seems we also got a lot of info on what's going on. The demon 'Moloch' is the one orchestrating things. Trying to raise the Four Horsemen and as we saw this episode, trying to retrieve the Lesser Key of Solomon to release the 72 demons that were trapped in Hell (and almost succeeding in this). This really has me interested in how 'big' they're going to go with this story. We've got Demons but will we see Angels? Will Ichabod and Abby (and now Jenny) get a helping hand from not just Witches on their side?
Loved seeing how Ichabod had such an understanding of Jenny (the freedom fighter thing). Also thought it was surprising that Corbin was in contact with both sisters in a big way (one was his partner, the other he was having work for him and get training).
Really wanting to see what else they drag into this show as far as ancient artifacts, history and groups go.

SPOILER:
I’m loving Sleepy Hollow so far, and I’m loving it even more with Jenny on the team. Please tell me she’s going to stick around for a while! –Rachel
I am assured that Jenny plays an important role in the overall story and as such, you can definitely expect to see her in future episodes.
