Sheryl Crow is one of my favorite female musicians of all time. She's made some truly great songs-- and albums -- over the years, and this is one of my favorites: It's "Strong Enough." Really good song. Hmm... I wonder how many guys are actually strong enough? Damon? Stefan? Dman_24? Hmm...

Love, love, love Hozier since a friend played me Take me to Church, then I heard it played on an episode of The Leftovers. This song (Arsonist's Lullaby) is one of my faves though...apparently for those that watch Teen Wolf a couple of Hozier songs have been featured there. good stuff. very bluesy folksy.

I just love this song by Annie Lennox from the movie "American Beauty." It's called "Don't let it bring you down", and it really captured the mood at the end of the movie between Lester and Angela. It was such a beautiful scene, and this song was the perfect complement to it.

This is one of my all-time favorite U2 songs. It's "drowning man" from their album "War." Classic stuff!

Live was a really popular band in the 90s, and one of my absolute favorites. The song "I Alone" that bears the title from the TVD episode is from their album Throwing Copper. Great song. Great album. Here it is:

Oblivion is one of my favorite movies, and I just love the soundtrack to it. This is the song that plays at the end. It's by M83 featuring Susanne Sundfor. I just love listening to it. What a great song! And what a voice, am I right? Go see the movie too, you'll enjoy it.

I just love Stefan's Theme from the Vampire Diaries soundtrack. Man does it bring back memories. The show was so good back then. Sad they don't use it anymore.

Whenever I hear "In the Air Tonight" I always think of Risky Business and the infamous "train ride" at night scene where Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay were... um... "enjoying each other's company." I don't know what stop they "got off" at (lol), but I'm sure the ride was "bumpy." BTW, Rebecca De Mornay was absolutely gorgeous in that movie. Anyway, here's the song:
