My favorite type of music is Rock, and any of it's sub-genres. I also listen to other types of music too, including rap, trance, electronic, dance, etc....... basically anything that sounds good to me I'll give a try. Though, I'm not into Polka. (Sorry all you Polka fans, but I have to draw the line somewhere.) Favorite Artist/Albums I like or listen to In This Moment -- So far they've never disappointed me with an album. All four of them are great. Though A Star-Crossed Wasteland is on heavy rotation. Love listening to that album. Maria has one of the best voices in rock. Hands down. Flyleaf -- Great band. Favorite album: Memento Mori.I think I dislike maybe 3-4 songs by In This Moment. Blazin being one of them. Otherwise, all their music to me is a pretty solid/enjoyable listen. ASCW probably also gets the most play time from me as well. I think I remember reading that The Dream didn't sit well with some of the fan base which I find a shame as it's a great album too =\ Mechanical Love, Lost at Sea, You Always Believed, Violet Skies, etc.. Love Flyleaf too (All Around Me was the first song I heard of theirs) but I was sad to hear Lacey was leaving the band Love her voice.

Here's a nice song from Chelsea Wolfe's new Album Pain is Beauty. So far I'm loving this album, and this song is my absolute favorite:

Aot of my favorites songs these days usually come from the shows I watch. These are from Teen Wolf and Beauty and the Beast. The song "Will Not Back Down" by Alex Band is not actually from BATB but is a fanmade video which I happen to love. I fell in love with the song when I heard it & haven't been able to get it out of my head, plus it's perfect for my couple. This is a beautiful song as well. It's when Scott showed Kira he's a wolf. "Silhouette" by Active Child ft. Ellie Goulding TW S3 EP17

I love this one from Teen Wolf:
I need to look through the show's music cause a lot of it is great just from the way they use it in the show with the scene choices.
Currently addicted to 'Human' by Krewella and 'Little Liar' by Eyes Set To Kill:

teppy1 I love all the boys bands, but NKOTB was my first love! "Don't Turn Out the Lights" was one of the new ones they did when they were on tour together. I liked Staind & remember this song! My taste is kinda all over the place. I was really taking a trip down memory lane last night. Yes, I love the Bee Gees! I am not ashamed! My favorite BSB song

For tara Ok I listened to it again & I did love it! This is one of the few I like of her, but that's because she's singing with him! But you know me, he could sing the phone book and I would love it! Here are 2 of my other favorite songs from the FUSE album! Can't help when I hear them! I looked this one up tonight after I saw that they won for video of the year! It brought me to tears! I love Tim! Great song & video!

What a great topic, wednesday! I am a huge Springsteen fan, and basically got my education in classic rock from him. But I have been adding in other voices, many of them from first exposure on The Vampire Diaries. These include Florence and the Machine, Wild Belle, Lorde, Birdy. I've also started to listen to Lana Del Ray. I saw her on Saturday Night Live a few years ago in what was arguably the worst live performance by a musician not only of her generation but ever. It prevented me from listening to her songs with open ears, which now I am trying to do.

The man could sing the phone book or the alphabet and it would sound amazing to me! As you can tell from the posts in here I am a big fan!! He's incredible in concert! TVD has had some really good songs & artists over the years. Beauty and the Beast and Teen Wolf which are 2 of my favorite shows have some great songs as well & from some of the same artists. The Originals had some good stuff this year. That's a shame Lana's performance wasn't very well. Sometimes live performances never live up to the hype & expectations we have. Please feel to share some of your favorite songs.

Love these artists, if you are into more lady voices to listen to Lykke Li, and Daughter are also fantastic (and both have had songs on TVD). plus old school stuff like Cocteau Twins and Mazzy Star just for the voices of Liz Fraser and Hope Sandoval.
