They haven't made the announcements yet on who is actually up for the Emmys. We will find out on the 18th I believe. The post I made is TvGuide's pick for best actress & what they had to say about her & why they thought she should be nominated. I totally agree with them!

Comic Con
The cast of BBC America’s Orphan Black — including Critics Choice Award champ Tatiana Maslany — will be making their way to San Diego to participate in their first-ever Comic-Con panel.
On Friday, July 19 at 7 pm, Maslany will invade Room 7AB alongside co-stars Jordan Gavaris and Dylan Bruce as well as Orphan Black co-creators Graeme Manson and John Fawcett for an hour-long discussion/Q&A about the thriller’s smash first season and (fingers crossed) an early preview of Season 2. (The show doesn’t resume production for a few months, but Manson and Fawcett will hopefully drop a few pieces of intel.) Additionally, the quintet will be on hand for an autograph signing on Saturday, July 20 at 4:30 pm at the BBC America booth.

SPOILER:
Love that you’re in #CloneClub now, Sandra. Would love some Orphan Black scoopage! — Shelly
While possible Emmy contender Tatiana Maslany and Co. don’t report back for season 2 until fall, there’s one thing she’s almost certain of: Helena is for sure dead and gone. “I think that’s the best thing,” she says. “If you invest in a character and then they’re gone, that’s real life. That’s what happens. I think it raises the stakes for the series. You see these clones as fallible and human — even Helena who seems to defy humanity can die…We don’t know what’s going to happen to any of the clones now. They’re all up for grabs now.”
I’m SO sad Orphan Black is gone. PLEASE tell me you have info on S2? — Jenny
While Maslany can’t say how many new clones will be introduced next year (because she doesn’t know), when asked how many more she thinks she can take on, she jokes, “17!” “I’m just excited to see what they bring forward,” she says. “I have no clue what kind of characters they’re going to create or what were going to explore. I trust [the exec producers] implicitly and I’m just kinda like, ‘Whatever you guys want to throw at me, I’ll try to defend that character as much as I can and play with it and have fun.’ I’m really up for whatever’s coming.” And while she has yet to think about what accents she might want to practice over hiatus, she says, “There are loads of accents I’d be interested in doing and lots that would terrify me as well.” My humble suggestion? Let’s meet an Aussie!

I am truly impressed she is not afraid to play any accent I think she has a bright future.

Orphan Black Star Tatiana Maslany: Series Creators Reveal the Real Cosima
All you Orphan Black fans, hold on to your dreadlocks because there’s a real-life Cosima!
In this exclusive video from the acclaimed thriller’s Season 1 DVD/Blu-ray release (in stores Tuesday), star Tatiana Maslany and creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson share the inspiration for the evo-devo geek.
A friend of Manson’s from before the series’ start, Cosima Herter, serves as show’s science consultant and as such briefed its leading lady on the “insane” premise, says Maslany in the DVDs’ “Send in the Clones” featurette. “It just gave me such a key into that world because I could see the connection, how it’s emotional. It’s about humans. It’s about life.”
Meanwhile, hair stylist Sandy Sokolowski and makeup artist Stephen Lynch discuss the fictional PhD student’s “West Coast, maybe Berkeley vibe.”

She did get snubbed by the Emmy's. Why am I not surprised. However there was a bit of good news for her. At least one awards-giving body is doing right by Tatiana Maslany this week. Indeed, while the Orphan Black star’s jaw-dropping performance got snubbed when the 2013 Emmy Award nominations were announced Thursday morning, she’s among the first group of honorees for the 2013 Young Hollywood Awards, which celebrate the best emerging young talent in film, music and television. Breakthrough Performance – Female: Tatiana Maslany, Orphan Black So there is some consolation in that. I find it funny that all anyone has been talking about for the Emmy's is Tatiana being the dark horse to get nominated & that she was on everyone's dream list for lead actress. Now that the Emmy's have been announced all I'm reading about is how she got snubbed over who was actually nominated!
