Ahhhh Slash wednesday moshe12Awesome midseason finale. When Derek left with Cora I'm like really he's going to run away? Lydias comment to kali was awesome and I'm glad she's dead. I thought Jennifer Blake's entrance was great.i thought it was Cora at first. I freaked out when she snapped the twins neck.I wad like I don't want them to die!!!!!! Which btw I thought it was cool and how the twins worried about their own. Ex helping save dereck and protecting Lydia. I was so glad when Cora said they were alive. When Jennifer said for dereck to be her guardian I thought she was going to kill him. I was a bit worried for stiles with that accident. Btw rip jeep lol Glad none of the parents died! And awesome move Allison pulled on Scott's dad. I love how styles saved everyone with the bat haha The demon wolf was scary! And I was screaming at my tv because Derek ran from Kali and then wanted to face dacaellion. Dacaellion has his eye site back thanks to dereck and was reminded how he used to be a visionary so they let him go. I hope that doesn't bite then in the ass. SCOTT BECOMES THE TRUE ALPHA.sweet he broke through the mountain ash and knocked Jennifer down. I wonder if the twins do join Scott's pack since they still are their own alpha. According to the after show I don't think they can morph into the twin alpha anymore since Jennifer broke their neck or whatever. Now let's talk about Peter. I knew he was up to no good. And I thought him and Jennifer were in on a secret before he killed her. His eyes didn't turn but is the whole point going to be that he's going to want to take Scott's alpha power or is he on the verge of getting it back? Because he said an alpha again? I am an alpha!! Cora and dereck leave town together. I wonder if Derek will come back at some point. And now that Scott is alpha I wonder if he will have any special abilities. I enjoyed the ending. With although Scott saw Alison and Isaac together he smiled about it. I love his relationship with stiles. Through everything they are in it together. There was a sneak peak to next season where Allison is making out with isaac and she's asking if about us okay with it. Isaac says yes and then he gets strangled by Kate while Allison has a knife in her hands. Then she wakes up to find the knife by her which I think was Kate's.

I think at the very least, the Twins would be 'unofficial' members of his pack. They will say they aren't his and don't have to follow what he says but they'll be included in discussions and invited to hang out if they all get together/have a problem. Either way, it works out for them. It's not like Scott runs a tight ship like Deucalion and will punish them.
I kind of also expect that's the last we'll see of them combining. At the very least, I wouldn't attempt changing into that form again. They'll have to adjust now to constantly fighting on their own without fusing. I do like this as it keeps them as individuals even more so now and might make them get creative in fights since they're not just brute strength anymore.
As for Peter getting mad at the 'again' line, I think it's just all in his mind. His Alpha power transferred to Derek who has now lost it. I think in Peter's mind, he never stopped viewing himself as an Alpha so for Jennifer to reference him 'losing' that power and having to gain it back did her no favors. He probably still sees himself as 'recovering' until he's at full strength again. I'm kind of surprised he didn't take more advantage of Derek. Derek was consumed with Cora's condition and Peter had the perfect chance to kill Derek, take the Alpha power and just let Cora die on her own. He could say Derek was killed by Kali/the Alphas and keep his power a secret or try his luck against Kali when she came for Derek and was shocked to find him dead. He must really not want any more family blood on his hands. Derek and Cora are out of town like he wanted so he's free to pursue Scott without them interfering.

But my thing is if Scott's true alpha ability is so rare why would they make it that it can be taken the same way a regular alpha could be taken you know what I'm saying? I hope there's more to it then just killing him.
I would hope his power would not even be taken.

I doubt it can be taken in just that manner. I'm sure Peter will manipulate him in some manner cause I'm sure the power in itself is very specific in terms of even being transferable, if it's at even all possible (Peter must know something to even be trying unless it's a blind, futile attempt). Being a True Alpha is based on will and character so going to someone like Peter, may not be possible without Scott probably doing something bad.
Peter seemed surprised to find out that Scott was a True Alpha so I'm wondering in that moment if his plans changed and Scott became his target. Peter has shown to know a few things here and there about Alphas so he does seem to know something about True Alphas and if he had to send his family away to act on gaining that power, it's probably time consuming and not so simple.

Well my expectations for next part of the season is.... Find out what comes with the whole true alpha package More detail on Lydia as the bangee and what other capabilities she can possibly have More info on the demon wolf How the alpha twins will play into Scott's pack. Peter's plan How sheriff will be more that he's on the in scoop. And what happens with Derek and Cora. Also this has become one of my favorite shows. Btw Slash I posted your recap on the forums tumblr page. =) couple of people already liked it and even re blogged it ,=)

I'm curious about the Twins. They used their super self to kill their Alpha and gain his power but we're to assume that the super/fused version is 'dead' so would they still be Alphas as individuals? Deucalion showed them how to fuse prior to becoming Alphas so they could fight their Alpha so I wonder just how impacted they'll be when they look into this.
As for Stiles' dad, I think he'll be able to help a little bit if Scott's dad starts poking around. He'll also probably be more open to giving the gang details on future murders/missing persons if he thinks it's supernatural related (more the gang's territory).
And yeah, this show just solidifies itself more and more each season. Interest is taking a hit with other supernatural shows I'm following but TW keeps building itself up.

I didn't understand why Derek didn't help Jennifer kill Deucalion? It was clear that one of them was going to die so why not help her instead of letting her get killed?
Also they referred to Jennifer's real plan but was it ever revealed?
TW has been a great ride so far - please writers don't screw it up!

Or im not even sure because Deucalion ended up killing her anyway and that move Derek pulled with the cutting if they eye sight I felt was to help stall so Deucalion could kill her. According to what I've seen her plan was to get revenge on the alpha pack for destroying her and leaving her for dead. I guessed she let the revenge get to her head and that's why she decided to look all those people. What through me for a loop was that all the other sacrifices she did..she did then one by one in each group. And for the parents she got them all together and left them tied up. Maybe she didn't want to kill them and wanted Derek by her side.

a follow up article from Jeff Davis
ETonline: The episode ended with Peter declaring his Alpha status. Has he been one all along? Jeff Davis: Actually, it’s in his own mind. What he’s doing is claiming his rightful place at the throne. He’s declaring his intent to get that power back, so he’s kind of a master manipulator — the Iago to Derek’s Othello, which is how we plotted this whole season. We wanted to take Derek to a dark place, keep hammering him down, so Peter could rise up on his back and you’d see his machinations come to play. It’s fun to play that drama, and to play that Machiavellian maneuvering. Peter is mostly intent on gaining his pride and status back.
ETonline: So will Peter be the winter season’s big bad? Davis: I wouldn’t call him the big bad, but he is certainly an antagonist.
ETonline: You also said that Lydia's relationship with Peter will be a big part of the winter season. How so? Davis: Oh yeah! You're going to find out a lot of secrets about their relationship, what Peter's bite actually meant for Lydia, and how they're connected. There's a lot left to explore there, but the writers were talking about where to place that story when we were breaking the summer season, which needed to focus on Derek and Scott, so we played this one to the side for a bit so we can pay more attention to it in the winter season. Right now, we're breaking an episode that deals with their relationship head on, and I think fans are going to love it.
ETonline: Speaking of Lydia, now that we know she's a banshee, what's next? Davis: You'll see her learn how to control it, find out what it means to actually be a banshee and how the scream plays into it. It's a little bit of X-Men/superhero stuff, but we're going to keep it grounded within the context of our world.
ETonline: Does this also allow for you guys to have Lydia working alongside Scott, Allison and the group to solve all the upcoming mysteries? Davis: Yeah, absolutely. And it's going to create difficulties between Lydia and Aiden because she's going to see herself as one of the good guys; someone who can do something good with her powers, whereas Aiden has typically been bad. She's going to say to him, "I'm a good guy, you're a bad guy and I don't think I should be with you." That's a big conflict for her -- especially once she becomes more powerful.
ETonline: What will Aiden and Ethan's role in the winter season be now that they have no pack and no real reason to be in Beacon Hills? Davis: They're going to need a new pack. One of the difficulties is they don't have a good reputation, so they are going to be in need of protection, which will lead them to seek out the help of Scott and Lydia.
ETonline: We also saw Ethan and Danny holding hands in the closing moments -- what does the future hold for their relationship? Davis: Their relationship will certainly evolve, and it starts to affect everything. I can say that it may not end happily for one of them.
ETonline: That closing shot -- which paired off Lydia and Aiden and Danny and Ethan -- also implied Isaac and Allison would be getting more serious next year. Davis: They're going to be feeling it out for a few episodes. They won't rush into anything; we have some funny scenes in the first few episodes ... before we bring you into the dark. What I loved about this ending is that in high school, you do have different kinds of relationships. You break up, you get back together, you date other people -- but the constant is your friends, and Scott will always have Stiles, so I liked that we got to have that moment in the end. Yes, Scott is single, but he's still got his friends and the people he loves are still in his life, it's just in a different way now.
ETonline: I can't imagine Isaac living with Scott while dating his ex is particularly comfortable ... Davis: It's going to be impossible, and it's addressed right in the first episode through some funny scenes.
ETonline: At the same time, Scott will obviously be busy. Does being an Alpha change him? Davis: Quite a bit. You're going to see, over the first few episodes, Scott struggling with his new identity. He's confident in his werewolf abilities, but, sort of, back to being a normal teenager in high school, which is a strange process for him. And he'll lose his confidence -- we're working on a great character arc for him that will show all those progressions.
ETonline: Derek left town in the finale. Why? Davis: Well, I love great entrances [and] I love people returning. But he's actually going off on a separate mission. Derek goes to get something -- something that is particularly important to his family.
ETonline: At Comic-Con you revealed the winter season will involve a kitsune -- a shapeshifting trickster fox. What else can you say? Davis: That's going to be very, very important. Without saying too much, there are some new monsters coming into the fold of Beacon Hills and one of the big mysteries that runs throughout the winter season is their purpose for being there. We're excited to tell this new story, and I hope the fans like it because we're excited about it.
ETonline: Will there be a time jump? Davis: Only a few weeks. I will also say that the first episodes are a two-parter that act as one story. Then, the next two episodes revolve around Halloween and the night before Halloween: Hell Night, which is sometimes called Mischief Night -- all I will say is, be afraid, be very afraid. Teen Wolf returns January 6, 2014 to MTV.

OMG! What an amazing finale to a great season! Hands down one of my favorite shows! Well y'all pretty much made all the same comments & questions I had. Ruby I agree -Jennifer's entrance was awesome & I was cheering when she killed Kali! I was in shock when she killed the twins too & was relieved that they were ok. I've grown rather fond of Ethan. I called it on Peter last week, but hoped that I would be wrong. Oh well, I can't wait to see how that all plays out for fall & his storyline with Lydia. The article you posted above did answer some questions about the Peter thing, but why didn't he want to kill Derek? He's tired of losing family & did it to protect him? So even on his quest for power his does still have a soul in there? He did tell them to leave to protect them, isn't that what you got from it? I agree with you and Slash- since Scott & Derek let Deucalion leave whatever he does will be on their hands so I hope he gets his act together. I was surprised they let him go, but if it had to be between the 3 (Jennifer, Kali & Deucalion) to live I'm glad he was the one. He was scary looking! Definitely looked like a demon! Jennifer had reason to be afraid! That scene were Scott broke through the barrier was awesome! He shocked all 3 of them! I love how Stiles saved the day with his bat too! I'm SO glad the writers didn't pull a TVD & kill the parents off. That would have been a stupid move. Keeping them around makes for big opportunities with the kids & the storylines. I'm interested to see how things play out how Stiles's dad fits in the pictures now that he knows the truth, Melissa continuing to help them, Chris training them & how things are going to work now that Scott's dad is back in the picture. I loved that scene when Scott opened the door to his dad & slammed the door in his face & his mom smirked around the corner. I would actually like to see Chris help give Stiles & Melissa some self defense lessons. Now that all these things will be coming to town & their lives constantly being threatened, they need to learn how to defend themselves. Although I do love Allison's new code. What happened to Morrell? Is she still alive? They never made that clear. She was shot with the arrow, but it was in the shoulder. Scott said he wouldn't let them kill her, so I hope she's ok. I loved the last scenes with Scott's narration. I was surprised by him not seeming upset by Isaac & Allison, but I hope things don't get too out of control for the fall. I love the friendships between all the characters. That's what makes the show so special. Derek has to come back to town! He can't stay away! From the article above it looks like he will be on his was back soon. I can't imagine the show without him plus who's going to try to keep Peter in line. Can't wait till Jan! Did anyone else have "Kids" stuck in their heads after this episode? Love that song now! They always have the best music on this show!

So yeah, nearly what I thought about Peter and the whole Alpha thing. It's all in his head and he's aiming to get that power back. I do believe he doesn't want any more family blood on his hands which is why he got Derek & Cora out of the picture the way he did. Instead of taking the power back from Derek, killing him in the process, he provided a way for Derek to lose the power and for Cora to live.
Wondering what Derek and Cora are going to go get though. And yeah, glad none of the parents were killed off, TVD style (who's left on TVD? Just Liz, right?). I do think Jennifer wanted Derek on her side and was content with *NOT* making things worse with the group by keeping their parents alive. She kept talking about innocent lives and I do think she believed that she was the lesser evil in all this and that adding 3 more bodies to her count wasn't needed if she could get Derek to help her during that small 15 minute window when Deucalion was powerless and achieve the same goal: killing him.
I'm actually afraid of what Deucalion is capable of now that we've glanced that he's a Demon Wolf (there seems to be a lot of branching when it comes to Werewolves, making for some unique traits). All those sacrifices and Jennifer didn't even phase him when she hit him with that blast. Granted she wasn't at full power cause she didn't do all the sacrifices but she's stomped everyone else up to him. Would the 3 more lives have filled the power gap? I'm wondering if Deucalion will become kind of like Klaus: in the upper echelon of powerhouses (that we've seen so far) and since the gang has done him a favor (sight returned and preventing Jennifer from killing him), if he'll be an ally again in the future when another baddy comes along.

yea I'm looking forward to seeing they continue with his story. I would love to see what else the Demon Wolf is capable because the way Jennifer spoke of him was like he did so much…

I'm imagining right now that some other supe comes to town that's too much for Scott's pack at the time (either just power or sheer numbers) and Deucalion just waltzes back in with a new pack (not all Alphas, more of a regular pack) and/or packs he's been in contact with on his journey to realize his vision to help Scott. It's weird that I want to see the 'Unique Alpha Pack' in action in some way. Someone they all have to stand against (Scott with whatever new abilities he has, Deucalion, the Twins if they could ever form again and maybe Peter gaining his power back and shifting).
Really want to know what the extent of Lydia's power will be, especially once she can control it or knows more about what she can do as a banshee. I'd kind of like Stiles to get some training in some area though. Self-defense or even being taken under Deaton and getting some Druid training where he can do some basic stuff and has some knowledge at the very least of other supes and how to deal with them.
