Yea I really do not want to see any parent go.I think they are also more useful in teen wolf and hell they even hell with the mysterious going on. And the Jennifer thing I'm a bit disappointed as of now with that particular storyline. I felt the dark druid was going to unleash something more dark and evil then just being used for revenge. Maybe it still can.I guess I have to see the remaining episodes a and how they play out. Thanks for the recap btw SlashJennifer seems off to me. I can understand the sacrifices for power to fight the Alphas, for vengeance but her mentioning a Deities in the past episode to Lydia, talking about Loki/Freya/Balder this episode and even Gerard bringing up Zeus in a previous episode makes me think there are grander plans but at the same time I doubt TW would be tackling Gods & Deities. The Alpha Pack, or the power to kill them, just ends up being 'payment' or some sort for Jennifer's services in summoning whoever along with being able to have a normal face (or the appearance of one).. Then again, we are getting a lot of Druid stuff so maybe it's just that. Or like the Werewolves and their 'vendettas', vengeance is serious business for Druids, which is why Deucalion wanted the Alphas to kill their Emissaries too to begin with?

Slash maybe she just doesn't know the full consequence of what she's doing? She was an advisor once so whatever she was doing...where exactly did she find out about it or how to do it? Chris argent knew stuff too and we still don't know how right? And why with do many parents I'm beacon hill does she have to target the three main parents? Also kali knew Jennifer already then when they held her hostage for dereck? Why not kill her then?

wednesday when did Jennifer have time to poison Cora.? That would be interesting if Derek gives his powers back to Peter. I know Derek has kind of sucks with his alpha role I wouldn't want him just to hand it over.. maybe he's helping him get juiced up+? I guess the resurrection thing took alot out of him. Styles is breaking down next week when Lydia kisses him so I hope his dad is not hurt =/

Ruby I'm assuming you've watched it by now? I don't know how Jennifer would've poisoned Cora? Who did then if she has mistletoe in her? How did she get it? All we ever saw happen to her was her get hit in the head with a weight by Aidan & then she got sick. I watched a little bit of it again & Aidan made the comment to Ethan about not wanting to hurt HER not them or him. He was referring to Jennifer, but why would he want to save her? At first I thought he was talking about Scott although he was holding back on all of them too. The brothers told Scott the second time around when they had Scott pinned against the wall that they didn't want to hurt him. What I think would be interesting is if Ethan turned his back on Deucalion & his brother & joined Scott & the others. I don't know how likely that is to happen, but he's been wavering ever since Stiles saved him at the motel. He's always arguing with Aidan about everything & he's really fallen for Danny who Aidan wants to hurt. As for who might die, I'm trying to narrow it down on who it could really be. I think Lydia is safe because it was just revealed she's a banshee & we have yet to really learn what that means. Scott, Allison & Stiles are safe because you couldn't have a show without the 3 main characters. Derek is a fan favorite & a Hale which has been part of the story since the beginning. They just brought Peter back & it would be stupid just to turn around & kill him again plus they have so much they could do with his character. Isaac is part of the pack, they already killed off Boyd & Erica & he has potential plus it looks like they might be headed for a triangle between him, Scott & Allison. Then there are the parents. I would hope they wouldn't pull a TVD & have the kids lose all their parents because that would be ridiculous. They need them & it makes for better storytelling. Every since Scott's mom found out about all of them she has been a great ally. Now that Stiles's dad finally knows I would love for us to see how he handles it dealing with the gang. I love seeing daddy Argent working with the Pack & helping the very things he's been taught to hunt his whole life. I mentioned Cora already & why I think she might go. They've already played the will the vet die card & saved him, plus they need an emissary. Since we are getting a new storyline with the kitsune next season to me that means they're going to be done with Alphas? So why would they keep any of them around? Hopefully they will all be the ones to be taken out plus Jennifer. I think I just about covered everyone!

SPOILER
This is the first time I’m doing this, but any scoop on the last episodes of Teen Wolf [Season] 3A ? –Ellen
As you may have gleaned, Lydia is now a “quasi part of the supernatural pack,” Holland Roden reports. “I’m still part of Team Human — I still have two legs and two arms — but it’s going to be more of a ‘Carmen Sandiego thing,’ as I call it. She’s a bit nicer. But coming up in [Season] 3B, you might see the mean Lydia come back out, for a particular reason.” Before then, Roden teases an Aug. 19 midseason finale that’s a “supernatural sadistic circus” with a “progressive” cliffhanger. So we know Lydia is safe for the next season arc!

CASTING SCOOP: Hellboy Actor to Raise a Little… Y'know in Beacon Hills
Just in case you were worried that the world of Teen Wolf might get a little too safe and secure, the MTV drama is throwing a new monster into the mix. Doug Jones (Hellboy, Falling Skies) will appear this season as a “known killer” named Barrow. Though other details about the mysterious murderer are scant, we know he’ll show up in Episode 15, which is titled “Galvanize” and which will air after the series returns from hiatus on Jan. 6.
Jones’ history of playing creepy characters includes TV’s The Outer Limits, The Neighbors and Falling Skies — and Buffy fans will be psyched/spooked to know he played one of The Gentlemen in the Season 4 installment “Hush.” In addition to the Hellboy films, his film work includes Pan’s Labyrinth and Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Teen Wolf‘s midseason finale airs Monday, Aug. 19 (10/9c).

Argent...-_- Lets himself get caught and she took all his weapons.
Alphas have turned on Morell and tried to hunt her down. Pretty cool trick with the mountain ash making a circle just by throwing it up. I guess though now she's under Scott's protection. If the Alphas still want him now, she can't be harmed, even if he does need their help. She also outed Deucalion on killing Ennis and he brushed it off as her lying cause they were trying to kill her. She told them where Jennifer and the parents are but no one seems to be able to find the Nemeton. Derek and Peter, who knew where it was, had the memories swiped from them by Tali (did the events really affect Peter that much to have them swiped too? Derek and Paige is understandable but it seems odd that she'd take the location and leave the memories. Why not leave it all?).
Derek is no longer an Alpha either. Isaac called him on his crap and Peter gave him a way to save Cora by means of the 'pain taking' technique by taking more. So...is Cora the Alpha now? And Peter kept trying to stress the fact that Derek had to fight Kali as a Beta now. Peter looked 'odd' though. When Derek said he'd do it, the look on Peter's face looked like he had some other agenda and he also looked kind of odd when Derek started the process. Peter, I like you and all but please, don't do something stupid. You looked kind of giddy to see the power transferring. You've killed one niece already, don't kill another for the power, although I'm sure it'd be suited for you more than Derek. It must still be odd for Peter and others running into him. He's gotten that shocked/awkward look from Melissa and Lydia now. Peter also still assumes that Jennifer is playing Derek because she wants him to come crawling/side with her against the Alphas if he's not joining them since he's given up his power. Alternatively, Morell talked about Derek joining the pack being the avenue for Scott to join. I guess we know how this is playing out now that Derek doesn't have the power of an Alpha anymore unless by some miracle, as a Beta, he can kill Kali and take hers.
Didn't see that one coming. Scott's dad is an FBI agent and is back in town. Thought it was kind of odd the way Stiles was talking to him and couldn't place the guy from earlier and I guess the 'history' (Scott's dad) explains it. Speaking of parents, Mrs. Lockwood makes another appearance.
Nemeton is explained a bit more. If the tree is sparked once again, it becomes a 'beacon' for the supernatural to come knocking (things that could fill a bestiary, both of which the Hales and Argents have). I like this angle. The gang has to spark it to find the parents and doing so, not only could they bring more trouble to town in the future (or help, can't forget good guys being drawn there too), they're also 'marking' themselves for life with a darkness (?) for doing what they're doing. Speaking of doing what they're doing, I like how the developing relationship with Allison & Isaac was handled. We knew the two were getting a bit cozy but I liked the way the scene/outing of it was handled. Deaton simply says for Lydia to hold down/pull out Stiles and then it's just a short pause between Allison, Scott and Isaac. Scott understands and given the situation, if he does have a problem with it, now is not the time. See that Damon & Stefan? (< I had to)
Back to Lydia, how about that kiss? Apparently she wasn't drawing a tree either. She was drawing roots (or both, depending on what orientation you're looking at the picture). That's the reason Jennifer tried to kill her because Lydia unknowingly knew where Jennifer was laying low (in other words, the girl who knew too much).
One more episode for 3A. I guess we're going to get a look at Deucalion's 'form/power' since in the preview, he asks/poses the question why 9 sacrifices would be made to fight him but Jennifer seems pretty game for taking on a bunch of Alphas. I'm kind of hoping going forward that Ethan & Aidan become regulars. I was sketchy on them at first but Ethan most of all has been a pretty solid addition to me.

What a great episode! As always Slash you give great summaries! Why exactly did Chris let himself get taken? Because he thought he could rescue them? I thought he was under Jennifer's spell somehow when he zapped Isaac & then handcuffed Allison? WTH! Even though I hated seeing the parents in terrible positions, I liked the fact that they all now know what's going on & there's no more secrets especially with Stile's father. Now that he finally took the blinders off! I haven't liked how they've written Derek this season as being weak. That's not the Derek that I know. Peter was acting really sketchy the whole time talking with Derek & the looks he was giving. I love Peter too & don't want to see him revert back to his evil ways. They've come so far with his character. His run-ins with everyone were pretty hilarious! Isaac having to remind him of the last time he encountered the Argents & then when he came face to face with Lydia. Totally shocked about the FBI guy being Scott's dad! Definitely didn't see that coming! Stile's behavior with him should've given us a little clue maybe. That moment with Allison/Scott/Isaac at the vet's was awkward, but like you said now was not the time. Nice reference btw Slash! Scott has to know something has changed a little bit between those two! They've been together practically the whole season. All the things Deaton was telling Scott & Stiles sounds pretty great & apparently what we have to look forward to for the 2nd part of the season! Loved the Lydia & Stiles kiss! Such a great moment between the characters. As for the previews! OMG! Please let them take Jennifer out! If it means I have to root for Deucalion so I don't have to lose anyone of our gang so be it. It would be sad to see Cora go, but if it's between her & any of the others then goodbye Cora! Isaac on the floor does not look good! I wouldn't mind Ethan sticking around. Aiden not so much. His character hasn't been very likeable at all. PLEASE let Kali die! I'd rather keep Deucalion!

Yes. This episode was another good one. Styles alphabet line was hilarious.
Isaac lashing out on dereck was needed but I also understood what dereck was feeling about not wanting to leave his sister.
Peter seemed sketchy like his own hidden agenda he has going on. He was manipulating dereck in this episode. Telling him knowing dereck would do anything to save his sister abs then telling him this is what she wants don't do it.it was only going to make him do it more.
So does this mean Cora is the new alpha?
It was good to see the blue of his eyes.
Allisons dad gave himself up to find them I believe but that kind of failed. That thing he pulled out at the end was to have the wolves hear? I was hoping for scott to hear it before he goes down under.
I liked how he handled the awkwardness of issac and Allison and the reveal of Scotts dad. I literally said oh sh*t lol
Morell knew they were trying to hunt her down but why now? Bc they saw what came of jennifer?
What bugged me was how was it so easy to lure scott away daecallion
Also the kids sacrificing themselves for their.parents does that mean they give Jennifer the power she needs instead of her taking it from the parents? Would she feel it?
I was thinking they don't go through with it because I took Scott's eyes turning under water was him hearing argents dog whistle thing.
Also how didn't it phase the alpha pact that ennis was murdered. Did they not believe her?
Scotts dad coming into town scares me for scotts mom. Is he going to have to take the role of parental guidance? Or just mix it up for scott...

Ruby Stiles always gets the best lines! After Stiles went off on him. Scott's dad to Stiles "I have no idea what you just said!" I thought it was pretty easy for Scott to be lured away too. One minute he was with the Alpha's & the next he was back with Stiles & also the whole thing with Alphas not believing Morell about Ennis. She's been honest with them for the most part right. Did Scott just leave her there with them? He trust them not to hurt her? The circle was broken when she fell. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. I was also wondering the same thing with the whistle if Scott heard it & that's why his eyes turned yellow. But maybe the Alphas will first considering they're all out in the woods. Kali knows where the Nemeton is right because that's where she "killed" Jennifer, but they just haven't told her that's where the parents are being held? I gotta say how awesome was it when the Argents were getting their gear out ready for battle! Stiles " I thought you guys retired. Retired yes, defenseless no." His eyes were about to bug out of his head. I wonder since they are going through with this sacrifice to save their parents if this will somehow give Stiles some type of powers. I think if he's not going to be a werewolf they could at least give him some self defense lessons. The Argents would be good teachers.

Hunting Morell now is probably because they're fed up with her helping the gang. Otherwise, I have no clue. As we found out, she sent the one girl who helped Isaac escape from the Alphas, she saved Allison at the bank and has dropped hints here and there and we're to assume she's the one who warned the gang about Argent. Packs are supposed to rely on their Advisors/Emissaries and clearly, the Alphas can't do that with Morell working against them (EDIT: although in her defense, they slaughtered their previous Advisors, sans Jennifer, when joining the current pack so why they allowed an Advisor in again in the first place thinking there would be no consequence is beyond me) and I don't think she helped her case much when she was attacking Deucalion in front of them, painting the picture she did and laying Ennis at his feet (as true as that is). Did they not also accuse her of being the same as Jennifer? Morell is still a mystery to me though. She's been helping the Alphas here and there and been against them as well. She said it was their job as Advisors/Druids/Emissaries to keep the balance so either the Alpha pack challenges that balance, the Advisors want to balance out for the deaths of their own, or they're trying to walk a fine line in dealing with the Alphas and one of their own going dark. It's a tough picture.
As for the Ennis thing overall, Kali seems to have a serious problem with Derek and wants to kill him, either because of Ennis entirely or because of a family issue itself (the Hales). I honestly can't figure her out outside of that. It's probably also easier for them to swallow the fact that an outsider killed Ennis and that Deucalion, who brought them all together and given how long Kali & Ennis have been with him, wouldn't kill one of them to force Derek in or to make room. When I think about it, Kali & Ennis seem expendable. I can't figure out what makes them special. Deucalion is obviously feared by them and we might get to see what that's about next week and the Twins came along after the fact and we know what makes them special so I think this 'Rare Alphas' idea was something that came along for Deucalion after picking up the Twins. The power of the Hales (Shifting) is something he wants in his pack (Derek losing it might make Cora the target now?) and nabbing Scott would be just as rare (True Alphas are once a century kind of deal, no?).
I don't think they lured Scott away from Deucalion honestly. I'm sure Deucalion knows where Scott is and since he wants him in the pack, it's not like he's going to keep the guy from seeing his friends. Plus, since none of them know where the Nemeton is and Jennifer is the priority, if Scott can find out/get help in locating it, why stop him?
The thing that Scott & Co. are doing isn't for the sacrifice though if I understood. It's to locate the Nemeton. Since their parents are there, they're going to die to 'spark' the tree (I think this is similar to Paige dying under it but through the link of parent and child, the gang can do it while not physically being there themselves but their parents acting as a proxy), activating it as a beacon. Once that's done, the Werewolves should be able to locate the Nemeton. So either they do that and rescue their parents in time, meaning Jennifer isn't whole when she fights them, or they abandon the plan if the Werewolves pick up on the emitter that Chris Argent activated, given it has a good enough range.
Back to the Druids keeping balance, I wonder if they reach out to other the other supernaturals like they've done Werewolves (joining as part of the pack structure). It'd be interesting to see Advisors in the future who either specialize alongside other supernaturals or are actually taking up similar roles and reaching out to them. Since Beacon Hills seems to be Werewolf heavy, maybe sparking the Nemeton back will bring in Advisors with other supernaturals and we'll get some more backstory on their society as a whole and how they're organized/spread out amongst the supernatural world.

I think them sparking the tree is definitely the set up for the kitsune! Think of all the other storylines from what Deaton told the boys. "There are all kinds of supernatural things we've yet to encounter that could fill the Argent bestiary!" How awesome is that! I have a question about Peter. Did the Argents actually see him last week? They do know he's alive & working with Scott & the boys right? And Peter obviously knew they were there because they helped them get away yet last night when he & Isaac were in the car he acted surprised when he saw them? Or was it because he didn't want to actually come face to face with them because of what he had done to Kate? Then Stiles tells Lydia to go see Derek AND Peter to talk about the Nemeton & where it might be. When she gets there & Peter opens the door she acts all surprised & almost shocked? Why would she react that way when Stiles just told her to go see THEM? Was it just the fact that she was actually face to face with him because of what he'd made her do? I guess my biggest thing is that they all seem to act shocked when they see him when he's already been talked about. Do they have amnesia?
