Ruby, I like that theory... It could be fun to watch Silas ruining DE and Damon being really jealous (aka, Silas doing to Damon what he did to Stefan for 3 seasons... I can only imagine DE's rage and all the anti-Silas threads and videos and comments out there... that could be hilarious!... I just hope they don't turn against Paul because he's just the actor behind Silas, not Silas himself, but many many times DE's can't tell the difference!!!!). The problem with this theory is that Elena, being a vampire, can't have a baby. Also, if he has human Kat, why would he chase Elena!?!? I know this show doesn't make much sense and it's probably just fan service (to make SE's happy but I won't be shipping Silena, Silas isn't Stefan!)... It would be so awesome if it's Quetsiyah returning and she hates on Damon as much as all the Bennett witches seem to do - remember Grams and even Bonnie how much they both hated Damon in s1? Although if Elena looks like Silas' original love she may in for some rough times too. I'm I the only one that still doesn't believe Silas? It just seems a little anti-climatic to have this supposed super bad villain Silas the true original vampire to just want to die to be reunited with his love. Really I'm a romantic at heart but it just doesn't make sense to me. Next season may be salvageable with both Silas/Stefan and Quetsiyah screwing with DE after all SE didn't have a hope in hell in season 4 with the sire bond overtaking Elena in episode 2.

oh here is some random thought that just crossed my mind: There are several ways to kill a vampire. A stake through the heart, a wolfbite, burn in the sun, rip the head off (Elijah did that to Trevor), tear the heart out (if it works for hybrids it should work on vampires, too) and didn't the founders council people in 1864 plan to burn all vampires in the church? So does that mean if the body is destroyed the vampire will die? So what happens to a vampire who is moldering under water for several weeks? Do you think Stefan could die in that box under water if his body is destroyed? Maybe he will die and be on the other side of the veil with Bonnie and Lexi and Alaric? That would leave Team living vampire having to team up with Silas to open the veil and get Stefan and Bonnie back while Team dead vampire can find out the right spells and fight whatever evil awaits them on the other side.... I think there would be lots of possibilities to explore the other side of the veil. They had the dark dimension in the books, too. What do you think?

hmmm that is a thought and not a thought I want to ponder on ;/ Well he might starve first and loose conscience kind of like how the entombed vamps were. Maybe that will be the race to get Stefan. He can be on the other side with Bonnie and they will team up to get him? I don't know

I guess anything is possible--- Stefan dead is not an option I want to think about really, but it is a good theory. Or Stefan could kill himself not wanting to drown over and over again-- knowing that Elena is with Damon. Or Bonnie could contact him to kill himself to help her on the other side knowing that Silas (Bonnie would know this) that Silas is pretending to be him. I do not know how I feel about Lexi and Alaric --I love Lexi but idk if I like that dynamic. Good Theory!

Stefan being dead is definitely not an option. Him being temporarily on the other side is an option for me but might be a loophole if they go for it because that means Silas could have went to the other side as well. but who knows if he has been maybe thats the way he was plotting to get himself free.

But Silas is immortal. He couldn't die and go to the other side of the veil. Stefan can. And maybe Stefan even wants to. It's better than drowning over and over again and he lost everything that's worth living for while there is a chance of meeting Lexi on the other side of the veil. But then again... if Silas wants Stefan dead he could have just killed him

Interesting because Caroline Dries confirmed at CC that April will not be in s5 at all. The way she explained it was as though it was because April was not a favourite of the fans. So more fan service. Not that I was a huge April fan but when as Plec has stated this isn't a choose your own adventure - although I did love those books when I was a kid. It would be nice to watch a story and know that it really is the writers' intent instead of a vocal fan base directing the story.

Maybe, if the ratings go down in season 5, as I believe they will, they are going to realize that the show was very successful in season 1 and 2 because the story was good and the actors were talented and believed in what they were doing, and not because of the ships or the crazy DE's and SE's fans... But, now, the actors don't believe or understand the story, the fans don't understand what happened in season 4 because so many things were against everything we heard before... And, it's not about the ships, it's about the times we heard and saw something that was the complete opposite of what we heard in other seasons.

Right now I am not looking forward to s5 but that can change. I was excited with the sizzle reel so we'll see as the date approaches.

I am looking forward to it because it is my favorite show but I feel my characters have been destroyed so I feel sad at the same time and some times it will be hard to watch
