This is for members who want to share photoshop tips or ask photoshop related questions. You can also share photoshop tutorials and sites.
I will share a couple sites that I LOVE.
welovetemplates.tumblr.com yeahps.tumblr.com
These two have helped me A LOT!

this helped me to understand how to make gifs
this took me ages to understand so I'll try to explain it for those who plan to do something like my signature picture:
If you want to connect more GIFs into one import them ( file/import/videoframes in layer ) and then export them ( file/export/render video) you will get a mov file which you can add as a new layer into your collage. Make sure you turn the view into "movement" in the right top corner. Usually it's photography. The blue lines will show you how long your mov-file is. If you have a short one and a long one, copy the short ones layer until they are the same length. If you are finished save it with file/save for web and device choose run endlessly in the right bottom corner of the window and save the file as gif The names of your menue might be a little different since I work with the German version and don't know the names of the buttons in the English version

This is what I use to blend images when I do my signatures. I will eventually do my own tutorial so you guys can see how I do it because I can make it simpler then that but this is so you guys can have an idea =)

The better thing about doing it with the latter mask is that if you make a mistake yoy can draw it back with the white brush rather then being screwed because you erased it. I also play with the opacity of the brush so it gives it a softer feel when you hiding the unwanted parts

can anyone explain to me how to save gifs out of a video? I have photoshop, can I use it for this? What do you mean love? Do you want to make gifs out of a video? I think you can do it via photoshop. The video needs to be MP4 format. And heres the tutorial Hope this helps. I don't usually make gifs through video like that. I usually cap the video and then make the gifs through photoshop. But both ways work The first way has one less step though so

Has anyone worked with Photoshop CS and Photoshop Elements and can tell me if they are VERY different? Photoshop has all this 3D stuff and so many tools no nonprofessional ever needs. But I like to work with the videopart for animated pictures. Does Elements have that part, too? Ok I could forget about the videopart if I look at the pricetag... Elements comes as a normal software and not the monthly rented version like CS right?
