If you guys have any more suggestions Let me know Kinda have like nothign to watch... I've reduced my self to watching shows that were cancelled after 1 season just to pass time. Don't know if you've ever seen it, but Legend of the Seeker is one of my favorites. Only 2 seasons, but it's really good. I know shoe20 enjoyed it too.

wednesday I love your gif's. Alias is one of my all time favorite shows and I loved loved Sydney and Vaughn. When I found out they were dating in real life I loved them even more.
Thanks! I love it too and they're also one of my favorite couples! Talk about angst! They had major chemistry! I was bummed when they broke up. They had one of the most amazing first kisses! I was about jumping off my couch! I'm down for an Alias thread! You know how much I love videos and gifs! I know that tara, shoe20 and @dman24 are fans too. Just let me know. Since we seem to watch alot of the same shows, were you a fan of Felicity? It's one of my all time favorite shows and Ben and Felicity are my favorite couple of all time! Just curious if there were any Felicity fans out there besides me and teppy1.

wednesday, why don't we start a thread about our all time favourite shows with videos or gif's. We can do favorite couple, favorite scenes, you know like we are doing for TVD now?

Well it's a really good show. I highly recommend it. It had one of the best and well told triangles on tv. Yes Jennifer was on there. In fact she started on that with JJ Abrams which lead to her getting the part on Alias. She also married Scott Foley whom she met on Felicity. If I did make an Alias thread, we could have a thread just for all of Sydney's wigs alone! I loved them!! It's funny you mentioned making that kind of thread because tara and I have been wanting to do one for ages! I'm working on it!

We made one! It's under the TV shows thread. You can discuss favorite tv shows, favorite couples from tv/movies and favorite friendships which is why we named it favorite duos! So have at it!

Just finished my "power marathon" of "La Femme Nikita" If you like "Alias" you like this series... Alias was the off shoot of LFN....Top cable show for 97, 98. Peta and Roy as Nikita and Micheal were scorching hot. Although it was billed as a "spy-thriller", for me it was all about the romance. It was also one of the first series saved by a fan base movement against the 4th season cancellation, and earned them an 8 ep 5th season. Micheal and Nikita were just as hot Sydney and Vaughn... the writers did a masterful job of pulling them apart and reconnecting them, but even when they were apart there was no doubt how deep their love was. They also did an unmatched effort in showing their affection for each other with looks and touches....the passion was palpable. Peta could do expressions with her face that equaled what Kristen can do, wednesday. For an earlier series they could not rely on CGI, and this was a gift because acting and story arcs were stronger than a lot of todays series. Anna, stelena4ever, wednesday...... give this series a shot, you won't be disappointed. PM me if your interested and have trouble finding a source.

Oh I've seen La Femme Nikita and I have to agree with you, they were one of the hottest couples I've ever seen on television! When Michael would just say her name or touch her hair was enough to make me The scene when they were in her apartment and just touching hands! I'm sure you know which one I'm talking about! OMG!!! Peta was incredible and does remind me of KK with her expressions. The fact that they didn't rely on special effects and had to rely on acting is what made it stand out. Madeline & Operations are still some of the most evil characters on television to me. Now you've made me all nostalgic! I just finished Alias and am sad! I almost feel like starting it over again. LFN put me through such an emotional rollercoaster I don't know if I can handle it right now! But they are one of my favorite couples for sure and aside from Vincat one of the hottest!

wednesday, I just did "Alias" and LFN back to back..(something I will do again in a few years)..... Honestly the best series of the two is the one I was watching at the moment. They really lift you up and take you for a ride. As far a villains... Madeline & Operations win over Arvin, but Arvin got his in the end. I liked that Operations gave his life to save Michael s son. Best couple is a wash, but Michael and Nikita (Mikita?)got a lot more roadblocks thrown their way. I really liked Roy, but he didn't say more than six words of dialogue an episode. lol His eye acting and body language leave Ian flipping in the wind. IMO. (did you know they considered him for the lead in "24".... that would have been interesting. I do like Kiefer in the role though. 4 of the writers that did LFN went on to do "24" Anyway two great series.... the only problem is I haven't got much else done lately. LOLOL I would follow them with "Roswell", but I just watched it a month ago, and "legend of the seeker"... guess it's time to que up "Buffy"....It's been almost 2 yrs. I love your "Alias" signature, by the way.

I won't say anything else in case people want to watch it so we don't spoil things for them. Yeah Madeline and Operations and Arvin are a toss up for villains! I forgot how high the body count was in Alias the last season! Good grief! You know who I loved was Sark! I wanted to slap David as John on TVD, but he was great as Sark! He reminded me of Spike on Buffy. I think he was maybe meant to be in a few episodes, but was such a hit with fans they kept him around. You just loved to hate him! He was so entertaining! That's so funny what you said about Michael because it's so true!! I don't know if you remember the episode where the teenagers were on Nikita and they made fun of him for always being so serious and whispering! I liked to fell out of my chair! I didn't know that about 24! That would've been interesting. I've never seen the show. Have you ever seen the bloopers for Nikita? They are hysterical! They're all a bunch of clowns. You should check it out. I watched Roswell not long ago too. I promised Tara I would watch LOTS before the summer was out. I might start up Felicity next which is one of my favorite shows and has my favorite couple in it. Vincat is almost tied with them. They have some great gifs out there for Sydney and Vaughn! It was tough to choose!

As far as I am concerned it is ALWAYS time to que up Buffy! Actually for my summer tv watching I am currently rewatching Angel. Not that long ago I rewatched Season 5 with a friend of mine that I decided I needed to go back to the start. Besides season 2 is just so phenomenal that I can overlook some of the hot messiness of Season 4. Season 5 things really were getting interesting again that I was dying for a season 6. Illyria deserved to have a full season! Alas it was not meant to be.

hahah I FINALLY finished my first watch of Buffy. I'm still on S4 of Angel. But that's going on a break, ughh. Not over the finale of Buffy. Wish it wasn't such an open ending. I needed more closure then the big hole they left...literally. I like epilogues. Hehe. And I've been warned that Angel has an even more unsatisfying ending. Hence the break. shoe20 As for La Femme Nikita. Is it anything like the show Nikita? Cause yeh I couldn't get passed the first episode of that show. The story line of Nikita didn't really interest me. I'm thinking of doing a teen wolf rewatch. Since I've only ever watched the show once as they aired. And I don't remember much of the earlier stuff. I bought the first two seasons of Friends yesterday. So I've also got that as a side watch if im in the mood for something new. My To-Watch list has definitely grown: Friday Night Lights, Brothers and Sisters, At one stage maybe Greys (since apparently its so great). I'm hitting some of the old stuff for nostalgia reasons, The Brady Bunch, 7th Heaven. (I finished Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which was a lazy fun watch) Moonlight, Might pick up Awkward again (I stopped watching when they ruined the leads character, but I saw that was addressed and possibly fixed so maybe.) I finished The tomorrow people. SO disappointed in the ending of the show. Ugh They rushed everything in the last two episodes. I'm glad it didnt get picked up because that was a horrible way to end the season. But yes Tonight I'll probably start S4 of Teen wolf, and get up to date. And then restart the entire series. Hahah oh man when did I get so many things to watch.

Anna Season 4 of Angel is kind of hit or miss to me...but I think Season 5 gets far more interesting. True the ending can be seen an unsatisfying, BUT it was actually a great series finale I thought. They had set up so much in season 5 that I think a season 6 would have been awesome to flesh out some of those story lines. The good thing about the Whedonverse if you have a craving for more is the comics are canon, and great! Because they can obviously make the story and settings bigger and bolder, travel to other dimensions, bigger badder demons, etc. Things they they couldn't really convey on a tv series budget. Plus the comics start off where both shows ended so you get a true sense of what happens next for these characters.

Anna I'd say watch the pilot and maybe a few episodes of La Femme Nikita to see if you like it. It may not be for everyone. For me personally I can usually tell from the pilot if it's going to be a show that I'll like. Even if the SL might seem a little weak at first, it's the characters that usually draw me into a show. If I like them and can relate I'll stick with it to see how it goes. If it totally sucks despite the characters then I'll throw in the towel! I love TW! I loved it from the pilot. I loved Stiles at first site dangling from the porch! It's had it's weak moments at times, but overall I love the show and find it entertaining mainly because of the characters. It's one of the few shows that don't kill off all the parents! If LFN seems a little too gritty for you you might want to give Alias a try if you want a spy show. I loved Buffy too. The first 3 seasons are my favorite for obvious reasons. I actually liked the finale of Angel better than I did Buffy.

I thought the Angel series finale was near perfect for the tone of the show and Angel's own mission. Ye ol' "If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do" I loved his epiphany speech in season 2 to Kate. I swear I am that rare bird that is both Stelena and Spuffy (maybe I just like the letter S). Actually I am Bangel too...and is the great thing about Buffy is there is no need to pick and choose, no ship wars as Spike and Angel didn't exist merely to fight over Buffy, they both fit into her world when she needed them. I think shoe is the one who said the true triangles in Buffy where Angel/Buffy/Angel's soul and Spike/Buffy/Spike's soul...because of her she led them on a trajectory for their own redemption. And not just for her, but in the end for themselves. She started them on their journey but they had to get there on their own. And in the end Buffy chose herself...afterall, she isn't done baking! me too, Angel, me too.

I can't remember exactly because it's been years since I've seen Angel. I like the first few years, but the whole Connor/Cordelia mess was just I liked S5 when Spike came on. He and Angel were hysterical together. I always liked Spike and I didn't mind him and Buffy working together, I just didn't care for them as a couple. I was a diehard Buffy/Angel fan from the get go. I think I fell just as hard for Angel as Buffy did! Stefan was my 2nd vampire love! I didn't mind that people liked Buffy and Spike together though. Everyone has their own preference. I kinda agree with Shoe. Makes perfect sense. She did save both of them. I love your remark. She wasn't done baking! How true! Still I wonder who she would've chosen? Nice signature!
