Every episode is fantastic and this week was no exception. The struggle, the acknowledgement of good versus evil sucks me in every time. That's what TVD used to be about.

I finally got caught up last night leading into the finale. This show is ON FIRE this season. So glad it got renewed for a 3rd. I with you napoli I get excited to see what happens next, totally sucked in. There is such nuance and fine line between the black and white of morality, when the truth is in the grey areas. Plus the character growth/development has been amazing every chance we get to dig deeper and peel back the layers of who they are. Plus they really don't try to tie this show down with the usual romantic tropes. I don't care about ships on this show, it isn't what is important. I love all the characters interactions with each other that I don't even think about any of them romantically, including actually "couples". For example, I love Lincoln and Octavia, and not because I love them as a couple, but because both of them have compelling stories both with each other and away from each other.

deb napoli anyone who watches this show...dying to know what you thought of the finale! I just rewatched it, all the callbacks to the major themes of the show...just so damn good. "my sister, my responsibility" "together" "i tried to be the good guy" "I bear it so they don't have to" "If you need forgiveness, I'll give that to you, you're forgiven" call back to season 1 when Clarke said that same to Bellamy. That entire goodbye scene with Bellamy...my god, I can't even. This show is so vastly underrated it's not even funny. It deals with so many of the themes that I loved about Battlestar Galactica.

Bellamy and Clarke final scene....so reminds me of Buffy watching her friends from a distance then walking away at the end of season 2.

So awesome! I was actually surprised Clarke decided to kill them all but not surprised at the same time. I was rooting for her to kill them - the security people and Cage not the little kids. There really was no other way to save her people at that point. The grounders and the mountain people ended up both being the worst - equally evil - but everyone is basing their decision on ensuring their own people's survival. Maya and Abby summed up all them perfectly 'None of us is innocent.' and 'Maybe there are no good guys.' I still hate Jaha though but love his story line. I have no idea what's happening next. I just hope the current writers stick through the show because I like what they've been doing.

I just hope the current writers stick through the show because I like what they've been doing. Wasn't it great?! So many satisfying moments, yet heartbreaking ones. It felt like it gave me all the moments I didn't know I wanted but truly needed, right down to Raven giving Jasper his goggles back. Some many wonderful dialogue moments between characters and parallels to words and events in season 1. That is how you put together a complete and cohesive season, yet still filled with personal journeys and individual story arcs. From everything I've read from the showrunner Jason Rothenberg, it gives me confidence that the writing staff is going to continue to slay it. On twitter he announced to several of this seasons writers that he was hiring them on for season 3 (he is amazing to follow on twitter, great interaction with fans) and everyone seemed thrilled. Plus it sounds like he already has such a clear vision of where he wants to take season 3, and is very detailed about his characters and their backgrounds. It sounds as though, the Jaha storyline with the nuke and AI will become a centerpiece next season and we will actually see a lot more of the background to how all of this came to be 97 years ago. So excited about that. Also he made some interesting points about how with her defeat of Mount Weather that this will only strengthen Clarke's legend and respect amongst the Grounders. That one of the main reasons for Lexa to make her deal with Dante and the mountain men was the fact it still maintained this common enemy for her clans to fight against. Remember under her rule she unified the 12 clans (that were fighting with each other) in order to fight against a common enemy. If she wholly defeated that enemy then what would happen to her coalition? She was as much saving her people as she was trying to keep them unified and also hold on to her own power. But now Clarke of the sky people did something she could not...defeat the Mount Weather. That will probably have impact somewhere down the road. Clearly the showrunner puts an incredible amount of thought and depth to the worlds/tribes he is building within this show. Imagine that, a care about the mythology and stories he has created.

Winter TV Preview: Returning Favorites THE 100 Let's begin with the word on everyone's lips: "Clexa." Clarke and Lexa's long-awaited reunion is going to be "pretty shaky," star Eliza Taylor says, "and not fun for Clarke." Following Lexa's betrayal last season, "her forgiveness would take a while — if it's going to come at all." Fortunately, Clarke will have plenty of other people with whom to distract herself, including Brenda Strong's Queen Nia — "a force to be reckoned with" — and Zach McGowan's Roan, with whom Clarke will initially find herself at odds. For at least the first half of the season, Clarke will remain separated from her fellow Arkers, which might not be such a bad thing. "Bellamy is going to be really disappointed in her," Taylor adds, "and kind of heartbroken. I don't really know how that reunion would go down." RETURN DATE: Thursday, Jan. 21 at 9/8c (The CW) tvline.com/gallery/tv-spoilers-2016-season-premieres-photos/#!1/the-100-winter-preview/

Hey crimmyj this show is my new fave, just finished S2 last night. I'm about to catch up on the two new episodes and then let's talk! YES! can't wait...I'm ridiculously addicted to it. I love the moral and ethical questions it brings up... that depending on perspective not everything is black and white or good v. evil...there are shades of gray. Plus I am a sucker for dystopian sci-fi anyway, and this show pulls no punches! deb napoli are you guys still watching?
