Kiki, maybe, it's an almost kiss, like the last SE one, but it's a triangle, never forget that

SPOILER:
Jared: Obsessed is an understatement for me when it comes to Reign. I demand scoop on what's next for Mary!
Oh, just her mother Marie de Guise (played by Amy Brenneman) coming back into her life and throwing her "off-kilter," Adelaide Kane says. "Her character's kind of delicious and sort of Catherine-esque in her manipulations," she previews. "Where Catherine uses her children, she still ultimately loves them and wants their happiness. With Marie de Guise, she does use Mary, and it's questionable whether or not she's emotionally invested in Mary's emotional well-being."

So I read up on the history. Wow not pretty for Mary or francis Sent from my MB886 using proboards wow me too. They didn't stick to it much though. It they would have Francis would be dead already. He died when Mary was only 17 years old. For sure that isn't going to happen on the tv show

For sure that isn't going to happen on the tv show Well they cant keep him alive forever, i think they are going to kill him off at some point but probably not for another couple of season's. Because if they loosely follow the story of her whole life she still has to marry another two husbands and then have a child. Then she has to go through a lot of stuff that in the end gets her Beheaded. They are technically suppose to be like 14/15 right now. They dont have to follow what age he dies cause that really doesn't matter just as long as he dies.

if they would stick to the real history we'd be spoiled for the whole show. the fact that they changed so much already makes me believe that it will stay pure fiction with only some real historic names for the characters

SPOILER:
PREVIOUSLY ON... | Mary and Francis had sex and declared their love and desire to marry... but then Mary learned that, per Nostradamus' prediction, her marriage to Francis would bring about the future king's death. A botched poisoning by the shadowy Clarissa wound up killing Aylee instead of Kenna, who was agitating for Diane's ouster from the castle. Scared by the death and hoping to save Francis' life, Mary runs away from the castle with Bash as her escort.
COMING UP NEXT | After a small time jump, we'll pick up with Mary and Bash "on the lam," executive producer Brad Silberling says, pointing out that while they didn't run off romantically, "They know in the eyes of everybody else, it will appear that they have. It will appear that he's betrayed Francis and, essentially, she's done the same." Silberling allows that the pair are likely to return to court, where power-hungry Henry is going to keep pushing for a marriage (and a worried Mary will continue to stall). Enter Mary's mom (Private Practice alum and Silberling's wife, Amy Brenneman), who may (or may not) provide the emotional support her harried daughter needs. "There are going to be many opposing forces at work to see Mary, somehow, finally in a relationship through which she can kind of claim the throne of England," Silberling previews.
RETURN DATE | Thursday, Jan. 23 at 9/8c (The CW)

DESCRIPTION "FOR KING AND COUNTRY" 1X09
CATHERINE CONSPIRES TO HAVE MARY ELIMINATED --- When Mary (Adelaide Kane) and Bash (Torrance Coombs) are captured and forced to return to the castle, they discover Catherine (Megan Follows) waiting and even more determined to keep Mary and Francis apart. Francis learns of the prophecy, but his determination to wed Mary changes everything: in love in politics, tearing the bond of brothers apart, and hardening Catherine's resolve to destroy Mary at any cost. Caitlin Stasey, Anna Popplewell and Celina Sinden also star. Helen Shaver directed the episode with the story by Alan McCullough and teleplay by Alan McCullough and Edgar Lyall (#109).
