deb Ian Somerholder is yet again tweeting to #StopYulin2015 and many other celebs (Ricky Gervais, Peter Egan, Duffy , David Oakes ...) are as well. This is tremendously helpful for the cause against DMT.

And, I think Nikki is an animal lover too, so they can suport each other in that. GO IAN! GO NIKKI! I've seen such horrible things about Yulin2015... I couldn't even imagine people could be so evil...

I think his fans should be more respectful of him and his privacy... He's asking them and being kind... It's not ok to publish the video and to call him rude, just because they didn't get the pictures they wanted to

deb and moshe12, I applaud Ian and Nikki's effort for humane treatment of animals too..... There's a cultural difference here for the Chinese..... I'm sure there are many in India that think our "Steak Houses" are just as repulsive. Raising awareness like Ian is doing is the first step to change, but it has to come from the people who attend and the society that sanctions it.

I'm sure there are many in India that think our "Steak Houses" are just as repulsive. Raising awareness like Ian is doing is the first step to change, but it has to come from the people who attend and the society that sanctions it. There is a difference between eating livestock and eating stolen pets and strays. Last time I checked I bought the meat I eat from a farmer who raises his animals HUMANELY ...next fact is the torture they apply to make the meat tastier Third fact is that the animal activist movement is gaining momentum and becoming strong in China and also in SouthKorea. So yes the change is coming from within their society. And they have asked us for help. Last thing is, that I have regular contact with them and international society and dont give me the culture card ...it is not part of their culture, it was brought up in the 80s and 90s by certain riffraff that are thriving from this blackmarket. BTW my parents are from India and they could care less who eats cows or pigs or chicken or pickeled hering. Here's the thing ... only the Indian cow is holy

Bottom line guys, I feel for celebrities trying to live their life in the public domain.... As John would say “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.” I hope Ian and Nikki find their "sweet-spot" and can have a great mix of popularity and personal happiness.

here is another one
Celebrity life isn't just fame and awards it's also fanservice and paparazzi. Every job has it's good and bad sides. Ian chose this life and he chose to push his fame best he can and use it for his ISF stuff. Now things get out of control and the bad parts of being famous show up. Those fans are the ones who make him famous. He cannot ask them to vote for animal foundations or petitions all day long and push them away if they want a photo. It's a give and take. I feel for the girls. For them it's the once in a lifetime chance to get a photo with him. For him it's just another day in the office. Of course he needs privacy but maybe he shouldn't live his private life on instagram and twitter if he wants it private.
I feel sorry for celebrities who didn't get to choose this life. Like the royals (what if Prince William would have wanted to become a doctor or a fireworker??) or children of celebrities (like Bobbie Kristina Houston)but Ian chose this life and he has to acept the consequences of beeing famous, too.
Sorry if this is not an Ian-supporting post. I guess it will be deleted anyway but I wanted to give my opinion to this. It's not just Ian it includes all those celebrities who complain about fans and paparazzi. It's part of a very well paid job.

Ian seems to be growing his hair longer for the new season. I like it, and I hope it sticks around. Something different never hurts.
