What do you guys think Jeremy's departure will mean for Bamon? my hope is that it would propel Bamon to the next level, but I have lost all hope lately in regards to the show. Hurts my heart to say it but my love for TVD is now a shriveled black heart. I am just going to turn off my humanity and burn things down to the ground.

What do you guys think Jeremy's departure will mean for Bamon? All good things! I'm really looking forward to the return of Bonnie and how Damon acts around her, how they are with each other having shared such an intense experience. My guess is the honeymoon period for Delena will start to shift with the return of Bonnie. I do hope we get a touching goodbye between Jeremy and Bonnie. Nothing big since they expect to see each other again. A nice acknowledgement that both have moved on while still caring for the other.

I don't know, it just seems too coincidental, B returning just as J leaves. I wonder if the producers knew Steven was leaving when they put Bamon together in 1994. I really hope you're right about Bonnie curtailing the honeymoon phase....ugh!

What do you guys think Jeremy's departure will mean for Bamon? The real question is what do you think Jeremy's departure will mean for moshe12? As you know, she's a big Jeremy fan, and I'm sure she's not taking this news very well at the moment. Oh well, at-least they didn't kill him, cause you know how much they like to do that. But the honest truth is: he's been a minor character for years on the show. They were never able to give him a proper storyline. The hunter's curse was promising, but they sort of abandoned that in season five, and now he's just there, not really doing anything, other than random hook-ups with girls and drinking himself silly between bouts of crippling depression over Bonnie's death. So really, this was all just a formality. The writing on the wall happened a long time ago. As far as Bamon is concerned: It could open the door for them if Julie and co. decides to go that route. But sadly they won't, cause they have no guts and they're not interested in telling fresh, exciting stories anymore. Delena is what they've hinted at, and Delena is what we'll get. A Bamon friendship is probably the most that will happen.

My impression is Jeremy and Bonnie are in such different places now that they won't try to get back together. It hurt Jeremy to get his hopes only to have the rescue attempt fail. Maybe that's what mobilized him to consider other options besides day drinker and vampire hunter. Bonnie's time alone is changing her. I'm very curious when they knew Steven was leaving, too! Whether he's leaving because they're asking him to, honoring his contract I suppose, or because Steven decided he needs time to look for a better role. ??

He may just have chosen not to do the extra year beyond the six originally contracted. I wonder if there are others that have made the same decision -- ie Marguerite?

I have decided to stay away from spoilers and watch the story unbiased and ready for surprises...but this is news for me...mmm...don't know what to think, I love Bonnie and Jeremy as a couple and Jeremy in particular... if they kill him off AGAIN I wouldn't take that well I admit it, so is Steven R. McQueen leaving the show That is sad. But I like the show this season so far, heard they renewed it for season 7 and hope they keep it up and continue to deliver

@dman24 I got it...so it looks as if Steven R. McQueen is leaving the show as series regular, wednesday was so kind to inform me in the meantime, I hope and wish him all the best for his future and wish him film and tv roles where he can develop and blossom. I will miss my TVD son and I will miss Beremy or Jonnie... Maybe he can pop in once in a while as a guest star...who knows, I mean they have holidays in art school

But, honestly, he's probably going to do better things so, we should support him. Right now, if Paul left, I think I'd be really happy for him because, what these so called writers did to his character is ridiculous.

Yes I wouldn't wonder if he left the show, I mentioned it a few times already, the storywriting for Steffie is kind of....meh and PW doesn't seem particularly enthusiastic either on the other hand... seeing Jeremy as a drunken stoned and wenching sod, no thx...I loved the parallel scene in the last episode with Bon and Jer in front of the Xmas tree btw, had tears in my eyes, when they both said I miss you...

Poor Paul. Just imagine having to work to work with material that sucks. Anyone would be unenthusiastic. The same can be said about Steven and almost everyone else by now... What about Enzo? He serves no purpose, it's almost ridiculous how he's stalking Stefan, for no reason at all.

I'm like... dude, what the hell is your problem? Calm the hell down. That guy's got some serious screws loose. Probably locked up in that cage too long. This is what happens when you run out of stories to tell and you have to make up these ridiculous premises for characters to take on. It's really pathetic to watch. I was actually happy that Enzo was going to be in the sixth season, but after everything he's done, I want him gone. Can't stand the guy. Killing Sarah was the last straw for me.

I think they are desperately trying to give Enzo a villain arc, but it is not working out...it comes over instead as pathetic and neurotic and completely screw loose as you said. The bit charm, funny charm Enzo had is lost, he is just nerve wrecking this season, lol!!! Probs they are trying to make a Damon 2 out of him, but that ain't gonna work! Damon has been a consistent character of TVD since season 1, lived by one, hated by others, I don't think Enzo can polarize in that amount...and to put it in a few words ...his SL just makes no sense
