also heard the rumour that Julie Plec tweeted that Elena and Jo are dead ...can anyone confirm this? I havent heard about those tweets but apparently Butler (one of TVD's directors) was up to his ol tweeting about Delena crap again. Twitting about how Delena is the Best TV couple of all time or the century or some such crap. It's shameful that as a director (who should be completely objective as the nature of his job) feels the need to tweet about the couple, even in the past tweeted about lighting their kisses just right. And they wonder what the problem is with this show...if these are the people they have directing, with no objectivity, pandering to the lowest common denominator. It's an huge embarrassment and unprofessional. Have you seen his twitter account? It's a huge picture of the epic couple. It made me laugh. |

Thx anyway What is odd about that is that he made some mention on his Twitter about coming back in for a weekend's work. It looks like from the photos released so far that some of the "flashbacks" were re-staged. Possibly Jeremy will re-appear in the season finale. |

moshe12 I think those rumors about Jeremy are based on the fact that Steven came back to Atlanta around the time they were shooting the finale. But this could be for a wrap party or Nina's farewell or whatever reason. Maybe we'll get a flashback with him. Who knows As for the other topic. I think the whole production crew was very unprofessional with the Stelena and Delena topic. They underestimated the number of Stelena fans. Twitter gave them the idea that most TVD fans are Delena fans so when they had to finally decide for one ship they chose Delena. That's ok since they had to pick one at one point. But what was unprofessional is to actively push away the Stelena fans. ("Find hope on the originals" comes to mind). Even if they never planned to go back to Stelena they should have lied to Stelena fans to keep them watching. But they actively pushed them away and many quit watching so the ratings dropped because the number of Stelena fans was bigger than the producers expected. If they would have thrown some bones at our ship many might have kept watching. But they just thought Delena fans would be enough for good ratings. BIG MISTAKE

demetra Kiki it would be nice to see sweet Jeremy again, if only in flashbacks, I guess I will just lay back, wait and see...btw I heard these two rumours on a podcast I like to hear.

interesting, interesting, I personally will be sad to see Michael Trevino go, now I am specualting after reading the artcles if Ty will turn in a werewolf after all, even if he leaves... for me it sounds as if Elena will die after all. So after all is said and done ... in the endgame no Delena and no Stelena Happy Ending after all. Not saying more about this topic, only that she has chosen and she chose Damon aka the writers chose Damon, but it is TVD which can also stand for Television Diaries. Anyways I am looking forward to the season finale. Thanks deb for sharing the articles. Cheers!!! |

JB is a professional who should be called out for supporting an unhealthy (as described by TVD writers toxic, controlling, codependent and consuming) coupling not applauded. It's never okay to ignore problematic relationships even if the show has a supernatural setting. Damn, my reply disappeared? ?? Celebrate Delena's lack of interferance??? How nice for them...too bad Damon was too insecure and inconsiderate to extend the same courtesy to his brother. Nope, I will never celebrate anything Delena. I won't even be watching this episode because the Delena celebration will make me nauseous.

Lol. That's a shame, for a TVD fan not to watch the Season 6 Finale where the fate of the central female character is sealed.
I feel we have a lot to mourn and celebrate today, if we have stuck with this show up until now, through thick and thin.
I have just joined the forum, curious to share your thoughts on this very special occasion, and see where you think the show can move on from the loss of Elena Gilbert and the central love story of the show.

I feel we have a lot to mourn and celebrate today, if we have stuck with this show up until now, through thick and thin. I have just joined the forum, curious to share your thoughts on this very special occasion, and see where you think the show can move on from the loss of Elena Gilbert and the central love story of the show. My opinion: There's no business like show business and the show will/must go on. I am looking very forward to the season finale tonight/aka tomorrow for some of us. I am curious if this finale will make me turn on the watertap, it will be very emotional. |
