The CW has released a description for the February 16th episode of The Originals.
THE BIG DAY — With the final preparations for her union to Jackson (guest star Nathan Parsons) underway, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) begins to question whether the ritual will actually work. After arriving to the compound, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) has a tense encounter with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and quickly suspects that his brother may be up to something. Meanwhile, Kaleb (guest star Daniel Sharman), who is harboring a devastating secret from Davina (Danielle Campbell), seeks help from Rebekah (guest star Maisie Richardson-Sellers) when he realizes time is not on his side. Lastly, Cami (Leah Pipes) makes a startling revelation involving baby Hope. Charles Michael Davis also stars.
Matt Hastings directed the episode written by Carina Adly MacKenzie & Michael Narducci (#214). Original airdate 2/16/2015.

And that's it. THe originals have indeed killed me. This episode was everythign i was dreaming of and i didn't even know i needed or wanted. Hayley and Jackson <3 Congrats! (*queue the squealing*)       I've been watching Haley/Jackson the past few weeks, thinking how naturally they fit together, but not quite able to let go of Elijah/Haley after that hot coffee table sex!  Last night though...I just really like Jackson, and Haley looks happy with him. It was a beautiful ceremony. I loved Haley's speech about how lonely she was when he arrived and how she didn't marry him just for the packs. Sigh...it was all so romantic. Thanks for these beautiful gifs, Anna! |

Thanks for these beautiful gifs, Anna! , I could never really get into Hayley and Elijah. It just wasn't meant to be. Tbh I've been waiting for Klayely to happen but i knew that wasn't going to anytime soon. But then Jackson came back and there was something more to him this time, and i wasn't able to quite put my finger on it, but then these past few episodes all i could think about was how perfect Jackson would be for Hayley. And i just knew inside that there was something more to them. I watched the episode at like 5pm....and its currently 1.30am and Im still going on about the wedding. My friends have actually stopped replyign to my ongoing spam. I'm feeling so damn feelsy, i feel like its been eons since ive felt like this. The couple is just so beautiful. If you really think about it...they were arranged to be married...years ago. To unify their families. Only to be torn apart. They missed out on the growing up together they missed out on becoming friends and later on lovers... but despite everything they missed out on fate brought them back And everything that they missed out on was slowly seeping back in their lives. Friendship Trust Happiness Love and most importantly; Family Their VOWS - To be your family - I swooned like i was about to faint of low blood sugar! #help me Im a goner im in such a fangirl state (also youre very welcome about the gifs...i couldn't help myself i knew i had to make some because no one would gif them for the right reason) |

The speech she gave him at the end really showed integrity in her character, I think. That she recognizes that love is about so much more than just passion, and that there's a bond between them that neither of them can ignore. I'm worried though that Klaus will kill Jack as soon as Hayley has fallen in love with him...  Poor Kol...I really hope they find a way to bring him back! Do you think Marcel and Rebekah will reunite? I sensed some interesting chemistry between him and new Rebekah! Oh, and I don't want Freya to be evil... Finn can go but I want her fighting with the good guys soon! |

Some really sweet moments last night.  Besides the love (friendly love?) of Jackson and Haley, Davina watching Kol slowly die as the episode progressed, watching his siblings march out of the ceremony to be with him, then a reconciliation between Klaus and Kol...so many types of love depicted. Including the hardest one of all: Elijah letting go of Haley, wanting to protect her & Hope's happiness over his own.  I found myself suffering with him when Haley didn't want to hear what he had to say. Her speech was clear and poignant and needed to be said imo, but that made it all the harder to watch Elijah withdraw. Who knows what he planned to say? Maybe he was only going to tell her he hoped she was happy, safe, that Jackson treated her right...all the things she said for him. Kol dying and Finn alive - expected that after you pointed out Finn is a regular character now wednesday. So what the heck with Freya? My guess is she realizes they're going to need all the power of the family to defeat Dahlia, whether they're getting along or not. Although at the moment it looks like she's siding with Finn against the family. It's hard to tell if she wants to give Hope to Dahlia or truly does have a bigger plan to unite the family against the new big bad. Hopefully Dahlia will rough up Esther a bit.  |

I pretty much felt the same way. You know how I feel about Hayley and Elijah, but after everything Hayley has been through I really can't blame her for wanting to give things a chance with Jackson. He really is a good guy and loves her. That ceremony was beautiful! It was strange having Klaus & Elijah watch over the wedding like that. Both her ex lovers. My heart broke for Elijah! When he cries, I cry! I wonder what he wanted to say. I'm worried about Jackson. I don't see him sticking around very long if Klaus has anything to say about it. Elijah is going to have to watch him 24/7! No one saw Klaus asking Jackson & Hayley to move in! Well more like telling them they were moving in!  Now Elijah is moving in with Marcel!! jennifer this may be the chance for something to happen between him and Gia after all!  With the way Marcel was looking at Rebekah I see him taking an interest in her again which leaves Elijah and Gia as free agents!  Hopefully we'll at least get to see him "mentor" her some more! They seem to have dropped the ball on that SL.  Finn is still alive!!!! I knew it was too good to be true that he was dead! You think he'd be blown to smithereens after that explosion, but all he got was one side of his faced burned!  Well at least that's all we saw. Poor Kol! That was so sad!  At least he got to have his family with him when he died which is the one thing he's always wanted. Watching his siblings march out of the ceremony to be with him. That was one of my favorite parts in the episode! I LOVE it when the brothers and now the 3 of them band together like that!!! Look out!!! I don't know what Freya is up too, but I hope she gets her act together and turns on Finn! Hopefully Dahlia will rough up Esther a bit. Oh I hope so!!!! I can't stand the thought of seeing her again! Maybe Elijah will do a heart snatch!!!  Anna Thank you for the beautiful gifs!!! They were perfect! Hope was so cute!!! .gif) She took a real liking to Jackson! I don't think that went over very well with Klaus!
