Books 1. Twilight 2. Breaking Dawn 3. Eclipse 4. New Moon
Movies 1. Twilight 2. Breaking Dawn P1 3. Breaking Dawn P2 4. Eclipse 5. New Moon
Similar Answers to some, But I will be honest, New Moon bored the hell out of me. Id never actually heard of any of it till about september 2009. I had watched it with my ex who got me into it. I'm not obsessed with it like I am with HP, but I have all the DVD's, Black original books, and the White and red collection of the books. I liked it more back when i first got into it, now I'm not really fused about it. I remember everyone being obsessed by Rob from the release of the 2nd movie. I was always Team Jasper XD
What team was everyone else??

Visually it was just like I imaged it out of the book. They did a great job. I was a huge fan and still am, but not to the level of when it was out. I'll still do a marathon of the movies from time to time and read the books. I was Team Edward and fell for Rob the minute he walked in the cafeteria! I was a huge Jasper fan as well though. I didn't really care for the Eclipse movie, but one of the things I did like was all the Jasper scenes! Jackson Rathbone is a sweetheart.

I always think about it when someone likes Bella. I liked Bella in the books because she was so relatable as the average girl - bookish, smart, pretty, a little awkward, etc. Kristen Stewart was so...I'm not even sure what to call it - deadpan, flat, unemotional - that I found her distracting, unfortunately. My teams: Jacob, Bella, Alice and Charlie. I love Charlie! www.bing.com/videos/watch/video/lab-partners/17wck9t9z?cpkey=791af39d-732d-4c8b-b1a5-9289eb8846a6%257c%257c%257c%257c

His scene when Jacob was showing his true colors was hilarious! I liked Bella from the books better too. It took me awhile to get use to KS. Rob made her more likeable in the movie. They did have chemistry.

She definitely takes some getting used to. That's for sure. But when she was younger, she was pretty good. I don't know what changed. It's like as she got older she lost a lot of the emotional complexities required for great acting. Strange, cause she had so much potential. But obviously she's doing fine. Cause... come on! Am I right? As she moves away from Twilight and the circus surrounding her, I think she'll get a little better. Dare I say win an Oscar? Okay... you can stop laughing now. Ha! BTW, it's interesting that you had an issue with Kristen Stewart's acting, yet you still loved her character. Hmm...

BTW, it's interesting that you had an issue with Kristen Stewart's acting, yet you still loved her character. Hmm... Kristen was definitely better in her earlier films compared to Twilight. It's not like she was bad in Twilight, just very distracting at times, making choices where I found myself cringing for her. Sometimes the awkward moments were endearing. I suppose part of it fit the character of Bella's clumsiness and saying the wrong thing at times. The two smaller films I saw her in were good; She was quirky in a good way in Into the Wild and Adventureland. You're probably right @dman24, that the circus of Twilight didn't suit Kristen's personality. Back to Bella, book Bella always overrules screen Bella for me. It's easy to get an actor/actress stuck in your head as a character. Mostly I still see my original version of Bella when I re-read, although other characters have become their movie counterparts, like Alice. Ashley so embodied my image of book Alice it was uncanny.

I completely agree with you about KS's portrayal of Bella and your description was spot on. To me two of her best films were Speak and The Cake Eaters. Ashley did the same for me as well. When I saw her it's like Alice literally jumped from the page to the screen! To me she was the best cast out of all the characters. I think the other actors did a good job though.

Pretty much seen all of her movies, including Sils Maria which I thought she was great in. Her acting was the most natural I'm seen of her since her younger days. She deserved to win that award. I hope this becomes a trend, cause it was refreshing to see.

I was just browsing around Netflix and I saw Twilight! Wow, couldn't believe it. I thought they had some sort of restriction against showing it cause I've never seen it there before. Guess something must have changed. Not that it's a big deal, cause I've seen the movies multiple times, but I'm glad to know it's there and I can just watch it anytime I want. Very pleasant surprise I might say. I hope the rest are on there some time in the future.
