Such heartbreaking moments for the characters on this show. When Nora thought Kevin was taken in another event. When Kevin (via Patty) realized he tried to kill himself. Evie's brother taking the orange sticker off the house. just gut wrenching. The acting on this show is just breathtaking. They really do nail it every episode. I feel so bad for Nora. She thought she was finally safe. Even those handcuffs won't save Kevin. So do you think crazy guy can see Patty too? My god, when Nora was frantically calling emergency asking if there was another event, rips your heart out, you could feel her pain even though you knew Kevin was actually fine. They do such a great job at making you feel that tension even though you know more about what is going on than the characters do. Does crazy guy see Patty...great question! I think maybe he does. I think maybe there are those that have the same issues as Kevin and have maybe as his dad said "just listened to the voices" I mean the same guy who ran into Nora at the store and knew of her loss (possibly related to the Murphys, maybe even John Murphy's father perhaps?) was also in a previous episode told Kevin that he should come see him as he could help him with his problem. I am very intrigued by that character.

I am very intrigued by that character. It was the first episode this season where at no point did I feel so uncomfortable that I wanted to turn it off. It was still very emotional but I was able to understand - most - of what the characters were going through. Versus previous episodes I couldn't seem to grasp even a tiny bit of what they were going through. You're probably right about the connection between the John and Virgil. John's son went to visit to pray with him. I love how they slowly reveal pieces of the puzzle but still manage to have a full intense story each episode.

WTF is going on! I love this show and I have no clue what's really going on.
Does anyone know why Erica seemed to turn on Nora (last episode)? I know the questions Nora was asking Erica weren't nice given what happened to Evie but she seemed to turn on Nora and enjoy it. Given Nora has also lost her loved ones it seemed as though Nora needed to know about the questions. Nora needed to know she wasn't responsible for her own family's disappearance as well as not being responsible for this new supposed departure.
I have no comment on this week's episode because...I'm speechless - brain dead, unable to form an opinion.

LOL napoli.... your in the same boat as Crimmy and I.... each episode has more questions than answers, that's what I love about the series.... the writers must be on something! I'm yelling at the set.... DON'T DRINK THE POISON , KEVIN.... you just met the guy and your trusting him with your life....STUPID! It's funny I look forward to something that leaves me with so many questions, but hey..... that's the genius of the show.. I can't quit watching no matter how much I f-ing try... I simply have to know how this all works out...... funny thing is, I don't think they'll give me that resolution....

I think that all the time too that there is no way in hell they can tie it all up that will make sense and satisfy me. I read an article saying the scene with the cave woman was supposed to be relevant throughout the season. I can't tell you whether it is or not because none of it makes sense.

Hi all, I am new to this thread and I had to find a fan fourm to connect with other watchers!! First this show gives us a slight glimpse into the afterlife and more ironically the extreme psychosis of the mind in distress using multiple layers of present and past lives. The next layer of the show deals with the leftovers of raw and unalduterated emotions that spill into a society previously on the edge of fragile beings that give life to the characters of the show!! I am in love with the level of creative writing blended with ideals of religion and philosophy. I dont know if anyone else noticed the relation to American horror story and The Shining of dead things being stuck in between spirit world and present worlds in hotels ? The matter of geography always stood out to me and as I watch this weeks current episode, Jarven. TX is about it's connection between the two worlds. Maybe the girls are stuck between the two worlds? Oh so many questions !! Love this show!

I'm still in my shingles hell (the absolute worst.) so when I watched this episode I was chock full of nerve blockers and pain killers that I wasn't entirely lucid...but what I do remember, HOLY S**T! This show just sticks with you in weird and creepy ways.

The Leftovers Renewed for Third and 'Wildly Ambiguous' Final SeasonThe Leftovers will not be making a sudden departure from the TV landscape: HBO has renewed the acclaimed yet low-rated drama for a third and final season. “It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome back Damon Lindelof, Tom Perrotta and the extraordinary talent behind The Leftovers for its third and final season,” said HBO president Michael Lombardo in a statement. “This show has proven to be one of the most distinctive HBO series and we are extremely proud of its unrivaled originality, which has resulted in such a passionate following by our HBO viewers. We admire and fully support Damon’s artistic vision and respect his decision to bring the show to its conclusion next season.” Added Lindelof: “I have never, ever experienced the level of creative support and trust that I have received from HBO during the last two seasons of The Leftovers. Tom, myself and our incredible team of writers and producers put tremendous care into designing those seasons as novels unto themselves…with beginnings, middles and ends. As we finished our most recent season, it became clear to us that the series as a whole was following the same model…and with our beginning and middle complete, the most exciting thing for us as storytellers would be to bring The Leftovers to a definitive end. And by ‘definitive,’ we mean ‘wildly ambiguous but hopefully mega-emotional,’ as all things related to this show are destined to be. “On behalf of our incredible crew and superb cast, we are all tremendously grateful that HBO is giving us an opportunity to conclude the show on our own terms,” Lindelof continued. “An opportunity like this one rarely comes along, and we have every intention of living up to it. One more thing. We are blessed by the unwavering support of our fans and the incredibly powerful voice of the critical community. We feel absolutely privileged to heat up one last helping of leftovers.” HBO’s release made no mention of where Season 3 will be set or which cast members will be back, but Lindelof recently hinted to TVLine that he has big plans fort Scott Glenn, who plays the father of Justin Theroux’s Kevin. “Scott is a starting pitcher that we have used as a relieving pitcher,” he said. “I would really like to see some more of Kevin Senior. And not just in the present, but in the past.” tvline.com/2015/12/10/the-leftovers-season-3-renewed-hbo-final/#more-666046

I am addicted emotionally to its "wildly ambiguous" nature.
