Love this tweet
Adrian Prado 5 min. @ampgu14 Every time Beasley gets the ball, I cheer. Every time Bradley gets the ball, I pray he doesn't pass it to the other team. #usavsbelgium

my fav tweet came from Belgium player Vincent Kompany after the USABEL match
Vincent Kompany @vincentkompany · 1h Two words.. TIM HOWARD #Respect #BelUSA
Hell yes. He was spectacular. We couldn't have asked for more from our keeper. He kept us in that match. Nothing but love and respect for my team. We still have a ways to go to match up to the world's best but we continue to fight and improve.

OMFG.... anyways the USA team played good and brave. I was rooting for USA when they played I had a feeling that I recognized Howard, he seemed familiar, so I googled him... and found out why, he was part of PETAs INK NOT MINK campaign. I am very sorry crimmyj that USA is out. I know the feeling.

Here's a new love song to my favorite Spanish team #LaFuriaRoja some facts about why I love Seleccion Espagnola de Futbol, also known as LaFuriaRoja!!!!!!! Despite the Brazil disaster LaRoja remains my true and only team, because they are the fairest players, the purest and the cleanest. And here are the facts www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sefutbol.com%2Fen%2F7-reasons-being-enthusiastic-after-world-cup&h=KAQGG1aNLFair Play is still a flag Off the field, the National team has also been an example. Sergio Ramos was named Unicef’s Ambassador in Curitiba for his support and involvement with the projects of the NGO. In addition, the fair play shown by the National team may not be forgotten. In South Africa they were recognized not only as the best team, but also as the most clean, something that has not changed in Brazil. In spite of not being able to repeat the feat, the team led by Del Bosque departed with just 3 yellow and no red cards. From the first participation in 1934, no player has been expelled.

That is very sweet, moshe12I think I finally got my mom interesting in watching more soccer. She has been really enjoying this World Cup even watching other games that didn't involve her team. She is eager to watch more! Plus it doesnt hurt that there is such great eye candy! Seeing our fan support in Brazil has made me tear up on several occasions as I have always hoped this sport would start to catch on here.

Seeing our fan support in Brazil has made me tear up on several occasions as I have always hoped this sport would start to catch on here. How are you now? Are you a bit over the USA disappointment. IT IS HARD IN THE FIRST DAYS I MUST SAY. But USA is all fresh and relatively new to soccer, Klinsmann is a terrific guy and a good coach, he will get them further. I think they did a good job to make it to the 1/8 finale My friend isn't over Portugal's defeat either, she's German and a big fan of Portugal, Portugal soccer team and Christian Ronaldo, and my friend Anna is 63 ys old Good for your mom that she watches now as well, the game yesterday USAvs Belgium was TERRIFIC. I really rooted for USA. Have a feeling this year all bets are off regarding the WC 2014 I am still licking my wounds, but I have company on facepalm and twitter, cos I follow Seleccion Espagnola de Futbol. Of course alot of people try to humiliate me now, but i don't care what they say about LaRoja. I thought first that the WC 2014 is over for me,and that I would just watch the games and get it over with, but I have to say sth. I still watch with passion, and now that Laroja is out I have an eye and actually see other teams play too, for 6 ys I only cared for them and the finale game. And it is a new experience again for me And so I enjoy the WC 2014 nevertheless knowing that LaRoja will rise again and meanwhile rooting for a new team each game, eg Mexico, USA, Portugal. yes I rooted for Portugal, not Germany. I can't stand the German team for many reasons. I used to be a fan until about 2004/2006. Then it all stopped with the upcoming new players and national trainer. I only remain loyal to one goal further constantly, that is my prayer that the Dutch team gets kicked out asap!!! Chile is already out. Then my revenge is 100% forefilled BTW I am really enjoying the soccer free evening today and tomorrow, it really is starting to take a toll on me. Cheers

The first day after a loss is always so tough because I obsessed over that sitter that Wondo missed in stoppage time that would have won the match for us. He routinely makes that shot, but alas the World Cup stress must have gotten in his head. AHHH What could have been... but yet not meant to be. Such a cruel and beautiful sport.
The one thing that helps with the losing is witnessing the excitement in this country for this sport. While I am sure a lot of these new fans just hoped on the bandwagon, it seems every 4 years that bandwagon gets bigger and bigger. That signifies growth to me. And if some of those fans start to watch the other leagues like our own MLS or the EPL is actually getting more and more tv time in the states then that is a step closer to being a football nation (and not JUST american football) So I have hope going forward.

That's the spirit crimmyj The next WC is 2018. For us Europeans the next big event will be EC 2016 in France.
