15/07 * Favourite villain? Klaus! I hope it's a given that as the favourite I absolutely LOVE his villainous character and even though I'm not watching TO (blame that on JP and not JOMO) I'm so happy that he has his own series for his redemption story line. The only way he and Caroline can be endgame is if/when he's redeemed.

@dman24, I really have no idea... They disapeared when you posted or they were there but disapeared latter? They were there but disappeared later. Really weird. I had some nice pictures too. Sigh!

Favourite season and why?My favorite season is season one. The thing that's great about first seasons is that they have the potential to be really fresh and charming. Their task is to introduce the show and bring you into the lives of its characters. And along the way you either start loving what you see or come to a conclusion that this is not the show for you. Thankfully with TVD it was a love affair from the beginning, and the more episodes I watched the more I fell in love. The first season had a nice simple structure about it that built upon storylines from the previous one. Everything made sense, and you felt that the writers and characters were taking you on a journey whose outcome was unpredictable, but at the same time, greatly anticipated. Everyone was on their A game. From the actors, to the writers, to the producers -- even the crew! Plus, the music was so good. Some of my favorite songs are from this season. They all wanted this to work and they did a phenomenal job of it. Nina was so good as Elena. (She was her strongest and best self here, which is why I fell in love with her.) Paul did a tremendous job with Stefan. Ian's Damon was a force to be reckon with. All the characters affected you in one way or another. You may not have loved all of them, but not one could be ignored. I just feel that the series was at it's best here. Like the first year of a marriage, everything was fresh, mysterious and fun. With each episode you wanted to know more, and even though some were better than others, none of them was a disappointment, cause the writing and acting was always on point. Other seasons may rival this one, but season one will always be my favorite.

16/07 * Worst villain (not scary, boring, etc.)?
Nominated for worst villain .... and the nominees are
Markos (season 5)
Dr Wes Creepenstein (season 5)
Logan Fell (season 1)
Brady (the werewolf in season 2)
Mason Lockwood (season 2)
and the winner is MARKOS!!! Though the others were boring, dull, stupid and all got themselves killed,
Markos was the Überbore, there was a big fuus and hype about him and he turned out to have the personality of a wet mop!!!

Favorite Villain?
I would say Klaus because I do love his character, but I really do love Katherine Pierce. Particularly this scene.

16/07 * Worst villain (not scary, boring, etc.)? I agree with moshe12 and crimmyj Markos has been the worst villain so far and the resolution of the traveler, prophecy, doppelganger story line was a snooze fest.

17/07 * Funniest character?
In season 1-5 that would apply to Damon, his oneliners are hilarious!!! HJe does add to a comic relief in the show
In season 5 however someone stole some of Damons's thunder and that was ...Enzo..."his bring out the popcorn blondie, Elena's sex romp isn't over yet" is mindblowing...infuriating and very doubtful character that Enzo...but he makes me smile...
And last not least ... I have to give Silas some credit AGAIN!!! His sarcastic ways and the knock knock joke...absolutely delicious!!!

Favourite episode and song in s01?
My favorite episode of season one is Lost Girls. (I'll write more about this later since it's also my favorite episode of the series.)
And my favorite song is "Cosmic Love" from Bloodlines by Florence and the Machine. I just love the sound and mood of it. It also perfectly complemented the opening montage of Alaric remembering his wife and Damon and Elena's road trip to Georgia. It reminded Alaric of the good times with his wife, and that he was in Mystic Falls for a purpose: to find her killer, and with Damon and Elena, it was a really good song to listen to while driving. Here's a clip of the opening montage with the song playing:
And here's the complete song if anyone wants to listen to it. It's from her album "Lungs."

Scariest Villian: Elijah when he first came in the scene. Yes, Klaus turned out to be worse but this scene! this was scary and awesome
"Excuse me, to whom it may concern, you are making a grave mistake if you think you can beat me. You can't! Do you hear that? I repeat, you cannot beat me. I want the girl on the count of three or heads will roll." SUCH perfection.
Favorite Villian Silas- He is funny yet sadistic at the same time
Runner up would be Katherine I do love Katherine.
Favorite Season- Season 1, but sometime Season 3. I just love Stefan and I think he shines the most in these seasons.
Worst Villian- Atticus Shane - I never liked his story line. I thought it was very boring.
